“Danielle was so awesome with my poodle. She was very understanding of his separation anxiety (and my anxiety with leaving him). She sent lots of updates, and it was great to see how happy my pup was with her. I’m sure Truffle is excited to see her again!”

“Jan is great. This was my second time using her. She is really nice, responds quickly, and I can tell by the pictures she sends that she actually spends time playing with my cat.”

“Kathy was dependable and provided comments with pictures of each day's activity while we were away. She also took the time to have a meet and greet in advance of our scheduled pet sitting. We recommend her!”

About: My love for caring for animals started when I worked at an animal hospital for four years as a teenager. Since then, I have loved and cared for many pets, including my own, and those of my family members, friends, and neighbors. I have a flexible work schedule and I have time to meet with you and your pet on your terms and when it’s best for your pet. I always greet pets at their own pace and allow them to get comfortable before we get moving. I follow all your directions and double check everything before I leave.

“Kara was such a great choice for us! We had never boarded our cat in another home before and she made us feel very comfortable, and that Tilly would feel at home. We received pictures and updates throughout her stay. Thank you again, Kara!!”

“Nakia has been amazing watching my 85 pound black lab Duke! I can tell he really likes her and she’s always been punctual with her visits while I’m at work. The rover cards she fills out with details are wonderful to have and she even got him some toys that he loves and plays with all day! I will definitely be booking her as long as she is available to watch him. Highly recommend!!”

“I highly recommend Karmen! She is very nice and knowledgeable. We have 2 hard headed German shorthair pointers and one was stuck on a bird during her visit and she was able to get her back inside! Everything else went very smoothly. 10/10 experience!”

About: I absolutely love animals and have had plenty of experience at home dog walking and dog sitting for my neighbors. Although I have provided pet care while at home, I have been searching for similar opportunities while in school. My experience has consisted of me dog walking/dog sitting for Golden Retrievers, German Shepards, Shih Tzus, Labradors, Doodles, Westies, and Havaneses, and many other breeds. I enjoy dogs of all different sizes and would love to provide care while at school because I can't get enough of animals when I'm away from home. I am most accustomed to dog walking and dog sitting, which has included drop-ins and staying at a family's house while they're gone. I am currently a student, but during my free time would really love to provide pet care. I am a very responsible, organized individual who is able to provide day-to-day availability and can be a little flexible if needed. My love for animals is unexplainable and I am ready to keep your pets cheerful and safe! I currently am a part-time student so with my fall schedule, I'm available Tuesday afternoons and can be flexible on Fridays. My schedule is subject to change so feel free to message me and we can try to work something out! At home, I care for dogs both in and outside with a gated yard and am comfortable crating dogs if need be. I understand every dog is different and am adaptable to their needs.

“Josie was so patient with my cat, Luca which isn’t always the easiest thing to do. He’s an anxious boy and I always felt comfortable while I was away knowing he was in good hands!”

About: I have had animals my whole life and been house sitting for over 6 years. I have experience giving medication to dogs, helping to potty train, and working with all sizes of dogs. I also have experience with rescue dogs that might be a little skittish. I currently have a job that mostly requires working in the office for 8 hours during the week but sometimes I do work from home. I also have lots of house sitting experience and have no problems with long stays. I have a fenced in yard and two small dogs and a cat that are friendly and love to play. We always have animals running around so our home is used to new friends!

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for other people since the age of 11. In middle school my friend and I started a small animal care business that provided a range of services including bathing, walking, daycare, overnight care, and drop in visits. This small business carried us throughout middle school and even though it is no longer operating, I still work with many of the same clients. I recently finished my masters program and have a wide array of free time while I am looking for a full time position in my field. I plan to continue to provide animal care services part time even after obtaining employment. I have a large yard that is perfect for a game of fetch. If your dog enjoys playing with other friends I own a 19 weeks miniature Australian Shepherd that would love a new buddy. Carey grove park is also located just around the corner, making it a perfect area for walks and to explore.

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal lover who wants to provide safe and nurturing care for your furry companion. Adaptable, flexible, reliable, and ready to love! I currently work full time, but I am always available weekdays after 5pm and anytime on weekends or holidays for pet care in your home. Available for housesitting, dog walks, and drop in visits. I value safety, exercise and play, and meeting all of your pet’s basic needs above all else.

About: I’ve had guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, cats, and dogs as pets! Dogs and cats have always been my favorite especially my current kitty, Bluebell who is an adorable siamese! I work full time as a loan assistant 9-5 and am looking for those who need pet sitters after work or on the weekends. My days are usually flexible. When I am pet sitting, I always give my undivided attention to the animal I am looking after and am attentive to their behavior and health.

Audrey S.
“Audrey has cared for my fur babies many times over 12+ years. I completely trust her with my pets and home. She is very responsible and conscientious. Also, Audrey has administered many meds to my pets over the years, including insulin injections to one of my cats. I can always count on her to love and care well for my fur babies!”

Karen B.

“She did what we ask to the tee . she even went beyond what we ask for. I would used her in a heartbeat. Wonderful”

Jennifer H.
“I have known Jenny for over 30 years, and she is a hardcore animal lover. She always takes better care of her animals than herself. They would go to the vet before she went to the doctors office. Right now she has a dog and 3 cats and she spoils them rotten. If I allowed pets in my house, I know I could 100% trust her.”

Carmel cat parents share their Rover experiences
I always dread leaving my cat when we travel overseas, because he is needy and doesn't do well alone. Mackenzie was reliable and great with him. She sent tons of pictures and I found myself enjoying this vacation more than others in the past because I knew he was getting a lot of attention.

Kyle did a great job with our 2 cats and one dog. He did everything we needed him to do. He made himself available to help us on pretty short notice. He sent pictures as promised and in general put our minds at ease while we were away. We would definitely have him out again and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great petsitter.

Gracie and Matthew were phenomenal with my pet Sketch. They took care of her for almost two weeks while I was on a trip. She normally travels with us, but due to her age we decided to let her have her space and stress free time at home. They made sure to stay in touch and provided me with pictures and videos everyday. Everything I asked was met with great communication and care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter and am very appreciative of finding two kind human beings to take such an effort in ensuring our pet was cared for and got attention as they would their own. They were both very kind, communication was always prompt, very trustworthy with my home, my fur baby and my expectations. I’ll definitely be using their services again.
