“Riley is a Star Sitter for many reasons! She has been dog sitting Tux for some time until Ford came along. I have thought of getting another dog so they won’t be lonely when I am away. It was my first time to leave my dog and a puppy for a period of 10 days and 9 nights but she managed everything from dog sitting to house maintenance (cleanliness, orderliness) I know it’s hard to keep the house mud and mess free when you have dogs. It takes a lot of trust and confidence to leave your fur babies to someone, but Riley gave me peace of mind! She will update you what’s going on and will send you photos. She is also very responsive. One time, I forgot the time zone difference. It was 4am in Canada, surprisingly she still replied! Please take note that she gets fully booked quickly, so if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter, Riley is the name!!! Don’t hesitate to book her. I highly recommend ! About: I was the primary caretaker of my dog from 8 years old. This involved general caretaking like feeding, bathing, walking, and monitoring health/medicines into its older age. I also have experience with adopting a resuce dog with major reactivity and physical problems, I have learned a lot after taking him through behavioural therapy and improving his quality of life. I've recently graduated college and have a relatively open schedule for Short or Long-term stays. I have my own vehicle and I'm willing to travel across the lower mainland. My goal is to make your animals as comfortable as possible through following instructions from the owner, reading behaviour and their needs as well as keeping them to a regular routine for a stress free experience.

About: I have always had cats in my life since I was literally born. I learned a lot about cat behaviours and illnesses, needs and different personalities. I cared for multiple cats at once, I helped pregnant momma cats and cared of newborn kittens as well. I also had special need cats who needed treatments. I learned how different they can act and how to manage stressed animals. I am a very caring and calm, soft person. I do not do harsh movements or anything the animals are not comfortable with, but I would not hesitate to save them from any danger. I understand the proper hygienic way to pet care, I can deep clean litter boxes or food bowls. I make sure their food and water is clean. I am working as a freelance digital artist with a very flexible work schedule. You can contact me any time, I will answer immediately or in a few hours max. If the cat is indoor cat, I make sure every time at the door that they will not leave. I check windows and cupboards every time so they will not get trapped or lost. I also take care that unsafe items are not reachable for them. If the cat is allowed outside I make sure to check they are around and will not leave if they are not allowed to. I can keep them on a leash and make sure they are not in danger of other animals, or any harmful items, weather conditions.

“Ress was absolutely amazing and took wonderful care of my two large dogs and home for 3 weeks! She handled my German Shepherd’s leash reactivity and separation anxiety very well and was able to adapt to help him adjust to the changes. She had great communication with us and kept us well informed and sent update pictures throughout the sit! I highly recommend and book again!”
