“Brenda and her family took great care of our dog and constantly sent updates letting us know how well he was doing! I look forward to bringing our dog to Brenda in the future!”

About: At this time, I will only be accepting one dog at a time. I do have a resident dog in my home, but she is very low maintenance. That means your dog will get my (almost!) undivided attention. I have lots of experience with taking care of dogs of all backgrounds from fostering and dogsitting, including puppies. I'm very in tune with the needs of dogs. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, from 10 pounds to 50 pounds. I love sending lots of pictures and videos throughout the day (although I am not a professional photographer!) to give the owners updates. I work from home so I'm able to keep my eye on your dog all day. Note that for doggie day care, it will be during the hours of 7am to 7pm. Any hours beyond this range can still be accommodated for but extra rates may apply. Feel free to discuss with me! I am currently working from home, so I will have lots of time for your furry children. I have a fenced backyard and would be able to take the dogs out for potty breaks during the day. I have a fenced yard and my own dog of 5 years. I have doggie gates in my house to separate if needed, and can put my dog in another part of the household or crate her, if needed.
“This was Chewie's first boarding with Hao and we had a great experience! From the initial meet and greet to the day of drop off Hao was very pleasant and reassuring which made us felt at ease. During the stay Hao also provided constant updates and videos. Chewie had so much fun and was all smiles when we picked up him. We will definitely book with Hao again!”

“Yuki had a wonderful stay with Mabel! This was her first time being away from us, and Mabel was so kind and patient in helping her settle in and gradually warm up to both her and the other pups. We really appreciated the thoughtful updates, photos, and videos too. It was so reassuring to see Yuki feeling more comfortable each day.”

About: Hello, I’m Keira! I’ve loved animals since I was a kid, and my experience with my own dogs growing up made me want to seek out the important and fun role of taking care of others’ pets as well. I started my pet care experience by helping out my sister when she had her own dog-sitting business, and when I was older, I started to care for both dogs and cats for family and friends. This care has included boarding, elderly care, and giving oral medication to my furry friends, along with lots of cuddles, of course! Now I am ready to start my journey on Rover, and feel lucky to have the privilege to meet many lovely dogs, cats, and humans on the way. ❤️🐾 I love sending owners pictures and updates of their pets regularly to ensure they know their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every dog or cat like part of my own family, and genuinely love the experience of caring for them. I’m a student on break for the summer, so currently I have no consistent commitments that would interfere with pet care. I’ll only be taking pets on days that I will be home all day, with no other obligations. Additionally, I currently only take pet(s) from one client at a time, so your pet will have my full love and attention! I currently have no other pets in my home. I have a big yard, although it is not fenced, so I will keep dogs on a leash if they are outside. My street is generally very quiet. Pets will have space to roam and play (supervised) in the house as well, unless their owner prefers otherwise.

“After our regular sitter became unexpectedly unavailable, we tried the Rover app for the first time and are beyond grateful for having come across John & Lisa. From initial contact, they were incredibly responsive, communicative and wonderful to deal with. We felt comfortable even before dropping Bella off and confident she was going to be in good hands. Bella is quite timid at first but through the photos/messages we were regularly provided, it was clear that she felt safe and warmed up quickly. So much so that we’re convinced Bella was a little depressed after we picked her up lol John/Lisa - thank you both so much for making our first Rover experience a pleasant one and for taking such great care of our fur baby. We will undoubtedly be booking with you both again!”

“Stuart and his wife were wonderful with Dexter. Stuart is clearly very knowledgeable about dog behavior and training, which made me feel completely comfortable leaving Dexter in their care. It was evident that Dexter felt right at home. Thank you so much, Stuart!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. As an healthcare professional and mom of two, I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable caring for pets of all ages. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to a familiar routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work a flexible schedule from home and can provide reliable pet care throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to follow their normal routines, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and bedtime habits. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs before their stay. I maintain a calm, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise walks, outdoor time, and interactions. I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and will always communicate promptly with owners. My goal is to provide a safe, loving experience where your pet feels relaxed and cared for.
“I had a great experience with Jun. He was very nice, helpful, and made sure our pet felt comfortable the entire time. We received updates and pictures every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated the communication and care. Highly recommend Jun’s services!”

About: Lifelong Animal Lover Offering Personalized Care—Because Your Dog Deserves the Best I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. My days revolve around my own dogs and their comfort—and your pup will be treated with that same level of love, attention, and care. As a mature, responsible caregiver with excellent communication, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for. I work from home, so your dog will enjoy constant companionship throughout the day, along with walks tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s caring for playful puppies or gentle senior dogs, I’m experienced with all stages of life. I live in a house with a yard and two dogs of my own. I only take one dog (or two from same household) at a time so it’s not too much excitement. Or I’ll come to your home as needed!
“Yvonne was a wonderful cat sitter. The room was set up, private and very clean. She sent pics every day and let me know how well they were eating. We definitely recommend and have rebooked already.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Eddie! He was incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive to every detail. We received regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Our pet Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. We would absolutely recommend his services and will definitely book again in the future!”

“Emily & Chun were incredible with my cat, Zara. It was my first time using Rover, so I was a bit worried but Emily was quick to respond to all of my messages and even sent me daily updates + photos & videos. ?❤️”

“⭐️A 6th star for this dynamic duo. My girl Pepper was so excited when she arrived for an overnight stay, that she raced up to their front door & couldn’t wait to go in. And I thought WE were inseparable!🤣I am so pleased with the care & attention given to my little girl. Thank you ladies. We will be back.”

About: Since 2017, I have been helping friends and neighbours to walk/take care of their dogs and cats while they’re away on work or vacations. In my childhood, I had my own schnauzer (named Dot dot) at my hometown and he’s my best friend. I’m working full-time from home, and have flexible schedules during daytime. Over weekends, I’m an outdoor person who enjoys hiking, tennis, or just take a walk in parks. I do not have any children or other pets at home. There’s a park which is only 2 minutes away from our house, which is quite convenient for potty break.
About: I have over five years of experience with senior dogs who I’ve walked, fed, bathed, medicated, etc. I also have been lucky enough to dogsit for my friends’ and family’s dogs for multiple nights. I’ve found that physical touch and contact with animals really opens them up to you :) I am working full-time, but do work from home some days so I am able to take care of them on some workdays, and of course on the weekends. I am in a suburban house in Aurora, so there are a lot of low traffic routes, including a couple of local parks. I do not have a crate, but could accommodate for one if needed. I find people supplying their own food and shampoo is best because it’s what the dog is most familiar with!
“Lucy was great with my Boston terrier Ellie. Ellie was well taken care of and lots of pictures were taken through out the day. amazing services by Lucy and husband Joe. Will definitely go back and recommended to anyone that needs a great sitter.”

“Christina was great with Rocky. She sent lots of pictures and messages, which made it so easy to see he was doing well and getting tons of attention and playtime. She was also fast and responsive every time I reached out. From Rocky’s relaxed, happy body language in the photos, I could tell he felt safe and comfortable with her; a huge relief for an anxious pup like him. He especially loved running around Christina’s big backyard and playing fetch. It was clear he was having a great time. I felt confident that Rocky was in good hands, and the next time I need a dog sitter, I’ll be contacting Christina again.”

“Trevor and his family are awesome! I cannot imagine better place for my dog to stay at. Trevor sent me regular updates with pictures. Would definitely book him again and would recommend him to my friends.”

We had a wonderful experience with Salvatore! This was the first time leaving our dog with someone who wasn’t family, and Salvatore’s regular updates and amazing care kept us at ease. He sent photos and regular messages, so we always knew how our dog was doing. And when our dog wasn’t eating in the first couple of days, Salvatore even took it upon himself to hand feed him; we so appreciated him going over and above. We would definitely leave our dog with Salvatore again!!
Such an amazing family! Vivian, her husband, and their two gorgeous cats were wonderful hosts for my active, playful, and attached cat. They are very professional and responsible. I received plenty of photos and videos throughout the day and was kept updated all the time. They spent a lot of time with him and allowed him to explore the main floor freely once he became familiar with them. Their well-equipped basement was like a cheerful playground for him, and of course, he was always under their supervision through security cameras. Their two cats were very nice and friendly, which helped create a respectful relationship with my boy. From now on, I can plan more trips with peace of mind. I definitely recommend them!

Despina took great care of our pup Juno. It was just a 1 night stay but she made sure to send plenty of pictures to let us know that Juno was having a fun time with Lucy. We wont hesitate to ask Despina again in the future if Juno needed sitting again. 5 stars!

Lisa was above and beyond boarding our cat! She was genuine, thoughtful, loving and playful with him! She was an excellent communicator sending us videos and photos each day of their activities. We were shocked at how quickly our cat adapted to her home and that’s all because of how much Lisa cares about her animals and the time she spends with them!

Luisa was amazing, she kept us posted with pictures and updates on how our doodle Levi was doing. Levi was cared for with love and compassion and he loved being with Benji, it kept him occupied during our 2 week vacation. I definitely recommend Luisa to anyone that is looking for care

Misty thoroughly enjoyed her one week stay with Steve and his family! Misty was well taken care of. Steve made sure Misty was kept very busy, active, and stimulated, which was very important to me because Misty is a high-energy dog. I highly recommend Steve for taking care of your fur babies.
I had a great experience leaving my dog in his care. He was very responsible and stayed in touch with me the whole time, sending regular updates and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. When I picked up my dog, he was clean, smelled fresh, and was clearly well taken care of. It was obvious that he had paid attention to his needs and treated him kindly. I truly appreciate the care and would definitely trust him again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
