ââMillie enjoyed her stay with Keira so much! Keira took excellent care of her and kept us well-informed the entire time. Since it was our first time boarding with her, we appreciated how smooth and easy she made the whole process right from the get-go. We'll absolutely be back!â

âWe used Hao for both all-day recurring scheduled day care and boarding while I had a medical procedure done. Hao and his family made Bear feel at home, he was treated like part of their pack and they ensured he was comfortable and happy. Thank you Hao!â

âMeghna and family took great care of our girl. They were so caring and we could tell from all photos and updates that our girl was having a great time and was made to feel very comfortable. We will certainly book with Meghna again.â

About: At this time, I will only be accepting one dog at a time. I do have a resident dog in my home, but she is very low maintenance. That means your dog will get my (almost!) undivided attention. I have lots of experience with taking care of dogs of all backgrounds from fostering and dogsitting, including puppies. I'm very in tune with the needs of dogs. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, from 10 pounds to 50 pounds. I love sending lots of pictures and videos throughout the day (although I am not a professional photographer!) to give the owners updates. I work from home so I'm able to keep my eye on your dog all day. Note that for doggie day care, it will be during the hours of 7am to 7pm. Any hours beyond this range can still be accommodated for but extra rates may apply. Feel free to discuss with me! I am currently working from home, so I will have lots of time for your furry children. I have a fenced backyard and would be able to take the dogs out for potty breaks during the day. I have a fenced yard and my own dog of 5 years. I have doggie gates in my house to separate if needed, and can put my dog in another part of the household or crate her, if needed.

About: My experience & genuine passion for animals makes me a reliable candidate for caring for your pets. With over 4 years of experience working with animals in a variety of animal care settings, I understand the importance of providing safe, attentive & compassionate care. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic, however, I have 2-3 days off each week that I dedicate to pet care services. My experience in a veterinary setting has strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior, health, and well-being, allowing me to provide attentive and reliable care for pets of all ages and needs. At home, I have a fenced yard where your pet can safely play & explore. I also have a 4 year old cockapoo who can provide companionship your fur baby during their stay. When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in clientâs homes, I provide attention & companionship to help reduce any stress while you are away.
âBrenda and her husband took great care of Luna. Communication was great and we got daily updates on how she was doing. I would gladly have Brenda watch Luna again.â

âThank you Mae for accommodating Jasper on short notice. He had a wonderful time playing in the snow with Spunky and Mae even snapped a few Christmas pictures of our dog Jasper! We really appreciate the care that you give Jasper.â

âIâve had the pleasure of knowing the best Rover ever! She was incredibly attentive to my eight-month-old kitten and eight-year-old Chihuahua. My dog and cat are both thriving with her cats. She keeps us updated with lots of pictures and videos daily. My cat even has her own cozy room. Highly recommend!â

âAfter our regular sitter became unexpectedly unavailable, we tried the Rover app for the first time and are beyond grateful for having come across John & Lisa. From initial contact, they were incredibly responsive, communicative and wonderful to deal with. We felt comfortable even before dropping Bella off and confident she was going to be in good hands. Bella is quite timid at first but through the photos/messages we were regularly provided, it was clear that she felt safe and warmed up quickly. So much so that weâre convinced Bella was a little depressed after we picked her up lol John/Lisa - thank you both so much for making our first Rover experience a pleasant one and for taking such great care of our fur baby. We will undoubtedly be booking with you both again!â

âWe rarely have to board our dog, so were nervous to leave him at a kennel. We decided to try Rover, as we thought our dog would feel more comfortable in a home environment and are SO happy we did. Suzanne and Magda are dog lovers through and through. They are kind, warm people who went the extra mile to make sure Chaucer was happy and comfortable. They also made sure we got updates and pictures throughout the day, which we really appreciated and set us at ease. Thank you, Suzanne and Magda again. We'll be back!â
âWe had a wonderful experience with Eddie! He was incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive to every detail. We received regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Our pet Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. We would absolutely recommend his services and will definitely book again in the future!â

âBella had a great time at Yana's. Yana was patient and created a loving and caring environment for Bella, even when adjustment to a new place was tricky fur Bella. Thanks Yana!â

âI had a wonderful experience with Lucy taking care of my dog Rufus over the weekend. From the very beginning, she was kind, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Rufus came back home happy and relaxed, which says everything about the care and attention he received. Lucy kept me at ease and made sure Rufus was comfortable and well looked after the entire time. I truly appreciate her dedication and warmth. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. I will definitely reach out to her again in the future.â

âOur yellow lab Hannah had only stayed with family before we found out about DogVaycay. To be honest we were a bit nervous. We arranged for a meet and greet with Megan and Robert after just getting a good feeling about their profile. They replied immediately and were flexible to meet with our schedule. They house was very clean and very dog friendly (mats on hardwood floors to help prevent wipeouts of running dogs and a tidy area of dog beds and toys). They have two of their own very easy going dogs and also had two younger pups they were taking care of. Hannah seemed to feel so comfortable immediately and so did we. They have a great set up. Robert works from home and they have a fenced in backyard that was also very clean. Their basement works as an indoor play area in bad weather. They asked questions about any medication Hannah was on and if she had dietary restrictions, if she was okay to have treats, sleep in bed, or if she needed spring water only. They thought of things we never would've. We could tell the dogs in their care were treated the same as their own dogs. We saw a few other DogVaycay places, and although Megan and Robert were furthest from our house, we felt like they were the best choice and we were right! They sent pictures and notes and we had no worries while in Europe, we knew our pup was in good hands. I would highly recommend these dog lovers for whenever your dog needs a home away from home!!â

About: As a first time dog parent, I chose doberman. I am confident to say that I can take care of any types of dog, as dobie is the 2nd greatest challenge breed. Not to mention their weak tricky gastric system, and also their delicate skin. I make sure she eat right each day, giving appropriate nutrients from the food. I cook fresh fish for breakfast with veggies. Fruits/egg yolks for afternoon snacks. I will make sure your pet get the same. Also I pet sitted a senior boxer in the past. I have quite flexible work schedule, and I stay home most of time. I walk my dog at least 2 times a day for 40 minutes each walk. I live in a house with a fenced backyard. My dog is very friendly and she will keep your pet as a company. Your pet will be surrounded by happy, warm and love energy.
âLi was an amazing dog sitter for our Teddy! She always responded very quickly to messages and communicated very clearly. She took care of our dog so well bringing him out on multiple walks and activities daily and updated frequently with pictures. Her house is very clean and dog friendly. I could tell she cared for him like he was her own dog. Definitely recommend using her! We will be using her again if we go on another trip.â

Devi was amazing with Sable. We had regular updates and Sable looked happy. We were able to relax and enjoyed our time away stress free cause our boy was well cared for. Thanks Devi. We were late picking Sable up due to traffic and Devi was understanding and super accommodating. Highly recommended.
My little bichon has just come home from her stay with Despina. For the first two hours, she napped - very unusual for her, since she usually guards her home from any person or evil delivery van on the street. Then she had her supper and started teasing me. She is a very happy girl and obviously had a good time. Thank you, Despina, for taking such good care of my little one.
I rarely trust anyone with my dog and usually have a very tough time leaving him with anyone. I had about 6 people booked for a meeting and Simone was absolutely amazing! Iâm so glad I came across her. I even did a sample session to see if my dog would get along and she made him feel so so welcome.

Such an amazing family! Vivian, her husband, and their two gorgeous cats were wonderful hosts for my active, playful, and attached cat. They are very professional and responsible. I received plenty of photos and videos throughout the day and was kept updated all the time. They spent a lot of time with him and allowed him to explore the main floor freely once he became familiar with them. Their well-equipped basement was like a cheerful playground for him, and of course, he was always under their supervision through security cameras. Their two cats were very nice and friendly, which helped create a respectful relationship with my boy. From now on, I can plan more trips with peace of mind. I definitely recommend them!

Lisa was above and beyond boarding our cat! She was genuine, thoughtful, loving and playful with him! She was an excellent communicator sending us videos and photos each day of their activities. We were shocked at how quickly our cat adapted to her home and thatâs all because of how much Lisa cares about her animals and the time she spends with them!

Luisa was amazing, she kept us posted with pictures and updates on how our doodle Levi was doing. Levi was cared for with love and compassion and he loved being with Benji, it kept him occupied during our 2 week vacation. I definitely recommend Luisa to anyone that is looking for care

Misty thoroughly enjoyed her one week stay with Steve and his family! Misty was well taken care of. Steve made sure Misty was kept very busy, active, and stimulated, which was very important to me because Misty is a high-energy dog. I highly recommend Steve for taking care of your fur babies.
I had a great experience leaving my dog in his care. He was very responsible and stayed in touch with me the whole time, sending regular updates and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. When I picked up my dog, he was clean, smelled fresh, and was clearly well taken care of. It was obvious that he had paid attention to his needs and treated him kindly. I truly appreciate the care and would definitely trust him again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
