I need to get out more since our own dog passed away in 2025. I need more reasons for walks and this is the perfect way to do it.

My own dog has passed away late 2025, and we have lots of beds and sleeping areas (all beds were washed and stored), toys, and even lots of treats, if ok with the owner. I’m open to all levels of care, and play requirements. I need it as much as they do.
A typical day
A typical day includes a couple walks, ball tossing in the yard (if the dog is up to it), some nap time, and either singing or trick show and tell. Trips to the dog park are in the table with owner’s ok.

The idea to babysit other dogs (and get paid for it) evolved from my love for animals, after losing my own elderly dog at the end of 2025. I have a great space, fully fenced, and I need walks as much as any dog so they would have plenty of exercise and fun. Being semi-retired, I’m home all the time.

Misty thoroughly enjoyed her one week stay with Steve and his family! Misty was well taken care of. Steve made sure Misty was kept very busy, active, and stimulated, which was very important to me because Misty is a high-energy dog. I highly recommend Steve for taking care of your fur babies.
