About: I grew up with various pets and have always loved animals. I was trusted to walk and feed neighborhood dogs on numerous occasions. My family dog lived 13 years and our cat lived 20. I got my own dog as a puppy 5 years ago and did her training. I also got a kitten last year. I am currently working at home full time I have my own business and have a pretty flexible schedule for morning or afternoon pet care throughout the week I live in a quiet street with lots of green space and parks and trails close by. My dog is friendly and always loves a friend to play with. I also have a crate and baby gate if needed.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I’ve had dogs of my own for many years, and I’ve always felt that animals have their own personalities, quirks and needs. I really enjoy getting to know them and figuring out what makes them comfortable and happy. I currently have two large, reactive dogs of my own, so I know firsthand that not every dog is comfortable around other dogs or enjoys the typical busy dog-walking environment. Living with reactive dogs has taught me a lot about patience, reading body language, managing triggers and, most importantly, giving dogs the space they need to feel safe and relaxed. I’ve also been involved in fostering dogs through a rescue in Thailand. Being part of their journey and helping dogs who have had difficult starts in life has made me even more passionate about animal welfare and giving dogs the patience, understanding and care they deserve. I’m starting my dog-walking service because I genuinely love spending time with dogs and thought it would be a great way to do something I enjoy while helping other dog owners in my community. I’m new to offering dog walking professionally, but I bring a lifetime of experience as a dog owner, experience with reactive dogs and rescue dogs, and a very caring and responsible approach. My walks are 30 minutes and are one-on-one, so your dog gets my full attention. I like to let dogs take their time sniffing, exploring and enjoying their walk rather than rushing them from one place to another. I’m happy to walk puppies, adult dogs and seniors, and I’m especially happy to work with dogs who prefer some space from other dogs or aren't suited to busy group walks. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to offer walks throughout the day and evening, and can be quite flexible with timing. It also means I have plenty of time to give each dog the individual attention and care they deserve. My services are currently focused exclusively on dog walking, so I do not provide boarding or pet sitting in my home or in clients’ homes. For dog walks, I provide one-on-one, 30-minute walks where your dog gets my full attention. I’ll follow your instructions regarding your dog’s leash, harness, walking routine and any specific needs or preferences. I’m happy to let dogs set their own pace, stop and sniff, and enjoy their time outside rather than rushing through the walk. Safety and comfort are my priorities. I’m comfortable giving dogs the space they need, including dogs who are nervous, easily overwhelmed or reactive around other dogs. I have two large reactive dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of being aware of triggers and reading a dog’s body language. After each walk, I’ll make sure your dog is safely back home and will provide a brief update about how the walk went.

I’ve cared for smaller dogs with health concerns, walked medium-sized dogs, and provided care for larger breeds. I’m also comfortable giving medications both orally and topically when needed. I have experience with puppy care and use positive reinforcement techniques to help with basic training and good behaviors. Most importantly, I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I work part-time with short shifts a few days per week, so my schedule is very flexible with the right notice. Your pets won’t be left alone for long, I make sure they get the attention, care, and comfort they deserve while you’re away When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to follow their usual routine to keep them comfortable and stress free. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of playtime, and enjoy walks or outside time if needed. About: I spent a huge portion of my teenage-hood on a horse farm, surrounded by cats, dogs and horses. Last year a hosted a foster dog (4 y.o. Lab Mix) named Hippo with Redemption Paws (Non-for-Profit dog adoption organization in Ontario), and it was the most wonderful and gratifying experience, it taught me a lot about how dogs with anxiety should be approached and treated (Hippo went from hating his crate to chilling in it throughout the day within the 1.5 months I had him, all through positive reinforcement!). I often do dog walking and dog- and baby- sitting for friends and acquaintances on different occasions, as my love for animals and children constantly pushes me to be closer to them, especially if it helps their families. In Ukraine, where I moved from at the age of 17 back in 2017, I established a student volunteer organization to collectively feed and treat stray animals (gathering donations, etc). Right now in my own household I have two cats, but believe me when I say I am waiting for an opportunity to add a dog to our family pet division. By reading certified books on animal psychology (my favourite: “Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are?” I've got a complete understanding of animal and pet main needs. The further I go through life, the more I realize how pets should be treated the same as respectful humans treat one another. I treat animals as equal companions, and communicate with them accordingly: with the use of positive reinforcement, physical encouragement like scratches, redirection of attention if needed, and engaging activities. My main goal while taking care of your pet is always to make sure they feel loved just the way they are loved by you, therefore I created a poll for my clients to fill out so that I know the best approach to each animal (provided after we start communication). With my endless energy resources, your pets won’t have the time to miss their beloved owner! Upon connecting, I always prefer to set up a call with my clients in order to talk through their expectations, routines, and any special preferences and notes before the first visit. I am rather flexible when it comes to dog sitting and dog walking, as well as cat care. The most important rule for me before spending time with your furry friend is to know how they interact with other dogs, and any information to note while being outside (squirrel/car reactivity, etc.) Weekdays I am flexible as I work from home (marketing coordinator) Weekends can be arranged for a full day or any time if agreed at least 4 days beforehand. Last minute inquiries are welcome in case I have an open window on a weekend. I follow the owner’s instructions to make sure the pup / kitty feels loved and taken care of.
