About: I grew up with various pets and have always loved animals. I was trusted to walk and feed neighborhood dogs on numerous occasions. My family dog lived 13 years and our cat lived 20. I got my own dog as a puppy 5 years ago and did her training. I also got a kitten last year. I am currently working at home full time I have my own business and have a pretty flexible schedule for morning or afternoon pet care throughout the week I live in a quiet street with lots of green space and parks and trails close by. My dog is friendly and always loves a friend to play with. I also have a crate and baby gate if needed.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I’ve had dogs of my own for many years, and I’ve always felt that animals have their own personalities, quirks and needs. I really enjoy getting to know them and figuring out what makes them comfortable and happy. I currently have two large, reactive dogs of my own, so I know firsthand that not every dog is comfortable around other dogs or enjoys the typical busy dog-walking environment. Living with reactive dogs has taught me a lot about patience, reading body language, managing triggers and, most importantly, giving dogs the space they need to feel safe and relaxed. I’ve also been involved in fostering dogs through a rescue in Thailand. Being part of their journey and helping dogs who have had difficult starts in life has made me even more passionate about animal welfare and giving dogs the patience, understanding and care they deserve. I’m starting my dog-walking service because I genuinely love spending time with dogs and thought it would be a great way to do something I enjoy while helping other dog owners in my community. I’m new to offering dog walking professionally, but I bring a lifetime of experience as a dog owner, experience with reactive dogs and rescue dogs, and a very caring and responsible approach. My walks are 30 minutes and are one-on-one, so your dog gets my full attention. I like to let dogs take their time sniffing, exploring and enjoying their walk rather than rushing them from one place to another. I’m happy to walk puppies, adult dogs and seniors, and I’m especially happy to work with dogs who prefer some space from other dogs or aren't suited to busy group walks. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person looking after your dog. I’ll treat your dog as an individual, follow the routines and instructions you give me, and keep their safety and comfort at the top of my list. I’m based in the Newmarket area and am starting with a small number of clients so I can give each dog plenty of attention. I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog and hopefully become their new favourite walking buddy! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to offer walks throughout the day and evening, and can be quite flexible with timing. It also means I have plenty of time to give each dog the individual attention and care they deserve. My services are currently focused exclusively on dog walking, so I do not provide boarding or pet sitting in my home or in clients’ homes. For dog walks, I provide one-on-one, 30-minute walks where your dog gets my full attention. I’ll follow your instructions regarding your dog’s leash, harness, walking routine and any specific needs or preferences. I’m happy to let dogs set their own pace, stop and sniff, and enjoy their time outside rather than rushing through the walk. Safety and comfort are my priorities. I’m comfortable giving dogs the space they need, including dogs who are nervous, easily overwhelmed or reactive around other dogs. I have two large reactive dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of being aware of triggers and reading a dog’s body language. After each walk, I’ll make sure your dog is safely back home and will provide a brief update about how the walk went.

I love exploring the outdoors and local trails with furry friends, giving one on one attention to your family member is my way of ensuring their safety and mental stimulation is elevated and of top concern! By setting realistic expectations I book in clients according to my availability for each week, only taking on new clients when I can. Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm I am ready to go! Meet and greets are essential to my care routine, I need to meet new clients and their loved one in their environment to ensure everyone is comfortable. A game plan is created together, to discuss requirements for individual care.

About: In addition to 20+ years of animal care experience in my own home, I currently work as a veterinary assistant for an animal hospital, where I am responsible for assisting in monitoring dogs before/ during/ after medical procedures, as well as providing animal husbandry for short and extended stays. I feel comfortable handling any companion animal regardless of species, age, health status or temperament, and am happy to administer medications and follow specific feeding/ bathing routines. My personal experience includes caring for the 4 cats I currently live with, and extends to dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, birds, and reptiles that I have owned/ baby sat in the past. My current schedule allows for both a morning and evening check-in with your pet(s), and I will have time to visit either early or late afternoon depending on my work schedule (I will know this in advance so we can discuss while scheduling a visit). If scheduled for an overnight stay, I will be gone from your house no more than 8 hours at a time on weekdays, and will carve out my whole weekend to spend quality time with your critters! My primary goal when pet sitting is to ensure that your animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. I'll make note of everything included in your typical routine and will accommodate my schedule around this as much as possible. During our meet and greet, I'm happy to go over my proposed care schedule so that you feel certain that your pets are getting everything they need. This includes but is not limited to feedings, walks, grooming, medications, and enrichment. I also love to provide consistent updates and photos throughout my visit!

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since I was a toddler. Love the connection I create with them. Enjoy having dogs around and keeping active by playing or heading out for walks I am currently unemployed looking for work so I am available full time at the moment. I can be in the dogs house or I can have them with me in my apartment and spend the day together :) My place is very safe for dogs and I will not let the dog unattended so they’ll be in safe hands and feel secure while in a new environment

About: I grew up on a farm and have plenty of experience with a variety of animals. These days, I specialize in personalized pet care beyond just the basics. I love taking dogs on long, enriching walks. I also enjoy (and have plenty of experience with) high-maintenance cats. From administering oral medication to understating their quirks, I know animals often require a lot of respect and patience. I’m more than happy to discuss any other details with you to give your family members the care they deserve :) I’m currently not working for the summer and thus I have a lot of free time to care for your pets. During the winter months, I am a student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College I live in a small pet friendly apartment building and only accept smaller animals that have been potty trained at home. When doing drop ins, or at home stays, I have an open communication process that allows the owners to be in contact with me. I set clear expectations before the visits. During the visits I offer daily updates involving photos/videos.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I’ve walked dogs from small to large and from friendly to reactive. I went to Seneca college for Veterinary assistant where I learned to care for all animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, and rats. I’ve worked at both vet clinics and doggie daycares. At the doggie daycare I learned how to identify certain dog behaviour and how to handle breeds from small to large. My own dog was rescued and dealt with a lot of anxiety. After training she is now a fully off leash and care free dog. I’m currently working full time as a kennel attendant. I don’t have a set schedule but I can make time during the week for all your needs. I’m available weekdays depending on when I work and i’m available weekends also depending on when I work. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your dog company. If you prefer your dog not to interact with mine I can easily crate her. I also can crate your dog if you’d like to as well.
