Availability

I’m currently on a working visa and still looking for a job, so my schedule is very flexible right now and I have plenty of time for pet care during the week. Even once I start working part-time, I will still have time available for pet visits and walks. I’m good at planning my day around routines, so I can make sure pets are cared for reliably and on time. I’m usually available in the mornings until early afternoon, around 3 PM.

Safety, trust & environment

I offer drop-in visits, walks, and boarding in my home. For boarding, my cat Lacey has access to the upstairs, while visiting pets have access to the downstairs, keeping the pets comfortably separated. For care, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and stick to the cat’s normal routine as much as possible. I focus on feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning/walks, playtime and check-ins, depending on what the pet is comfortable with. I pay attention to each pets personality and adjust my approach, whether they are shy and need space, prefer one-on-one time, or are more social and playful. For dogs, I have access to a fenced backyard as well as a quieter park and a dog park. Unless stated otherwise, I assume cats are indoor cats, and I always prioritize keeping them safe inside. I make sure doors and windows are secure during visits and that everything stays calm and stress-free. I also like to send updates with photos or videos if wanted.

Information Christine N. would like to know about your pet

I’d love to know about their personality, routine, and what makes them comfortable. Things that are especially helpful to know ahead of time: ° Any fears, triggers, or things they dislike ° How they behave around other dogs, cats, people, or new environments ° Do you prefer them being walked in a quiete park or dog park? °Their usual feeding, walking, and bathroom routine °Any important habits or behaviours I should be aware of Anything else, I’ll happily get to know along the way and discover their little personality and preferences myself.

A typical day

° Exploring new walking routes and letting dogs sniff, explore and investigate at their own pace ° Trying different toys under supervision, especially with our little destroyers and toy swallowers, to find out which one becomes their favourite! °For dogs who enjoy chasing and running, supervised drone play can be a fun way to get some extra exercise (Tested and dog-approved, 10/10 for zoomies, followed by nap time) ° Playing fetch, tug-of-war and gentle chase games ° Taking cute photos and videos to share with their humans ° Enjoying relaxed outdoor time and letting pets explore at their own pace °Lots of attention, cuddles and one on one interaction based on each pet's personality

Pet care experience

I’ve had pets my whole life, so I’ve spent over 20 years around animals like cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, turtles and more. Even though I never worked professionally in pet care, I’ve always taken care of pets for friends and family, including feeding, cleaning, walking, entertainimg and check-ins. I am very comfortable with different energies, from shy pets to more energetic animals.

Christine was great with my dog! My dog is on a special diet, and Christine was very careful and responsible about following all my instructions. She got along with my dog really well, and I’m so happy I finally found someone I feel comfortable trusting with her. Highly recommend Christine!

You know you've found a great pet sitter when your dog can't wait for them to arrive. That's Christine. She’s warm, professional, incredibly dependable, and truly understands dogs. Our dog absolutely adores her, and we can leave home calmly, knowing our pooch is happy, safe, and genuinely cared for.

Christine was absolutely wonderful with my senior dog! We were hesitant to leave him for 3 days while attending a family gathering, but she put us completely at ease. She took time to get to know him, moved at his speed, and easily earned his trust. He was so relaxed and well cared for while we were away. I highly recommend Christine to anyone looking for a thoughtful, gentle sitter!

Christine was fantastic with my rescue dog! He carries a lot of stress and can be tough to manage, but Christine took the extra time and patience just to build trust with him at his own pace. During a period when I had several work-related trips back-to-back, having Christine stay with him gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing he was in such caring, capable hands while I was away made all the difference. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone looking for a truly dedicated pet sitter!
