âDebra is the pinnacle whwn it comes to care for our pup moose. He loves spending time wirh her and gets lots of walks. Very accomodating my my ever changing work schedule. Thank you Debra!â

About: I have been the proud pup parent to a beagle and currently a shitzu. Patience is well built in to my nature! I enjoy taking dogs out on walks, cuddles on the couch, and watching explore my fenced yard. A natural dog lover at heart, I have hosted short term and long term stays and they are always happy to return (sometimes they donât even want to leave!) I work from home and able to provide loving care and supervision. Iâll ensure your dog is well taken care of in my air conditioned home where they can choose which dog bed to lounge on, toy to play with, front window ledge to sit on & watch the birds or chase squirrels in my yard. I will care for your pet as my own. Iâd like a clear understanding of known allergies, fears (vacuum), anxious behaviour & feeding routine. Iâll follow your dog rules as best as possible, but my dog is used to sharing lots of treats lol

âSara took excellent care of our energetic Airedale terrier. He had multiple walks, a clean and spacious house, and large fenced backyard. She sent us plenty of photos and updates, and we knew that our dog was very well cared for. They have 2 friendly, non-aggressive dogs that played well with our dog. I highly recommend Sara and Cody for anyone who wants exceptional care for their dog.â

âCindy took wonderful care of our little dog Oscar while we were away. She took time when meeting us to get to know him and his care needs while the other dogs were in another room. Oscar warmed up to Cindy right away and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her for an overnight stay. After we left the dogs met outdoors and we heard that they got along well. I highly recommend Cindy P. and will definitely board with her again.â

About: Hi! Iâm a compassionate and reliable pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and needs. My background includes looking after a young small dog while providing care for a senior citizen, which involved daily walks, feeding, bathing, and keeping the space clean by managing pee pads. Most recently, I worked as an in-home dog caregiver for two medium-sized dogs ages 1 and 3 . I was responsible for walking them multiple times a day, maintaining their feeding schedule, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and ensuring the home stayed safe and secure while the owners were on vacation. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in providing safe, attentive, and loving careâwhether that means going on long walks, sticking to a feeding routine, or simply keeping pets company while their humans are away. Your pets will be treated like family with me! Iâm available for dog walks 4â7 PM on weekdays and have open availability on weekends. Iâm also able to provide extended in-home care when needed. I offer a safe, comfortable home for small to medium dogs, with parks nearby for walks. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines and can walk your dog in your neighborhood to keep things familiar.
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. They aren't just pets though, they are part of the family! We currently have a 2 year old black lab/boxer. I always want the best for my dog and I know you do too! I am currently retired and home all day every day! Your dogs will never be alone. In fact, I love taking them for walks through the forest and playing with them in the backyard! My dog has the run of the house and is allowed everywhere in the house and the backyard is entirely fenced in. They are allowed to go in and out on their own as much as they want to!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
