About: Dogs - I have owned a dog since I was little and there has rarely ever not been one in the house. Cats- I have owned cats before and also kittens as well. I have completed a full 2 credit Co op at the OSPCA when in high school. I have lots of personal experience and knowledge with dogs and cats, either owning or taking care of them. I do have a full time job but I love to spend my time off caring for animals and getting to know new people and their pets :) I am respectful, easy going, polite, and punctual. I look forward to getting to know you and your animal(s). I currently work full time at Costco but I make time out of my schedule for taking care of animals because I love to do it I own a dog and he is very friendly. I’ve had him since he was a pup and he’s high energy so we spend time on a lot of walks, and we do a lot of enrichment time whether it’s just playing or doing tasks for treats. If I were to come to a clients home I am very respectful and will focus on your pet and make sure all their needs are met and are well looked after. Let me know of any routines to follow or just basic care and daily feeding schedules.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats through overnight stays, drop-in visits and dog walking. I’ve cared for pets with many different personalities, from energetic and playful to shy, nervous and anxious. I’m patient and take the time to let each pet become comfortable with me at their own pace. I follow their regular routines, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime and lots of love and attention. I especially love seeing a shy/anxious pet begin to trust me and become my little shadow. Building relationships with pets and having families trust me to care for them again is one of my favourite parts of pet sitting. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a kindergarten educator, I’m available for morning visits before work, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays during the school year. During the summer, I have much greater flexibility and am available throughout the day, allowing me to accommodate a wider range of schedules and your pet’s routine. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, and loving care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I believe pets are happiest in the comfort of their own home, where they can maintain their familiar routine and surroundings. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, needs, and preferences so I can provide calm, personalized care tailored to them. Before any booking, I offer a free Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, and ensure we’re the right fit for one another. I also ask all pet parents to complete a detailed intake form, which helps me learn about your pet’s routine, medical needs, preferences, and any special instructions so I can provide the best care possible. For dog walking clients, I also like to do a short practice walk so your dog can get comfortable with me before our first scheduled walk. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, trustworthy hands.

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Donna! I offer overnight boarding and drop in care for your furry family members. I also offer dog walking at an affordable price you can trust. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, so my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away. I’m home full-time, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I treat every dog like part of the family and do my best to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so your dog receives lots of one-on-one attention in a calm, family environment. Dogs are welcome to relax on the couch, sleep on their own bed, or use a crate if that’s what they’re most comfortable with. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A Family Home My home includes young children (ages 1–6), so I’m best suited for dogs who are friendly around kids. My kids have grown up around animals and are taught to respect their space. ❤️ Experience With • Puppies • Senior dogs • High-energy dogs • Anxious dogs • Small, medium, and large breeds I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! 💛🐾 I build my schedule around the pets in my care. I am home all the time and I stick to whatever the pet needs in my care. I focus on creating a safe and family style environment where they can feel comfortable. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Innisfil choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 84% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
