Before that I was a driver for a dog daycare in Toronto. I currently live in my hometown of Orillia and have been building my client base here. About: I’ve grown up around animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I had 2 of the most loyal and playful golden doodles growing up. I now own a 5 year old rottweiler and a senior staffy who is 15 years old! I have cared for a clients husky for multiple occasions and overnight care as well as periodically walked a german sheppard/rottweiler. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, medications, or overnight care. About: I grew up in charge of my family dogs daily chores such as walking, feeding, grooming and giving monthly medications. I also helped out family members and close neighbours with their pets when they went on vacation. I have 6 year old Siberian husky who I rescued at 8 months, he’s now 6 and the best boy thanks to daily training, walks and structure. I have lots of love to give your dog and enjoy walks either on quiet roads or in the woods. If they are social then a trip to the dog park will definitely happen! Summer time I can even take them swimming if you want. Different breeds like different activities so just let me know what your dog loves to do or play with and I'll soon become their best friend! I had dogs all my life and since I do not have one of my own right now, I'd like to take care of yours and get my doggy fix! Animals are one of the most precious beings on this planet- they love you unconditionally, are always happy to see you, and are always there when you need them. They are the true meaning of a best friend! Sadly my fur baby passed away in early September. Half my heart went with him. Having had dogs all my life, I know how hard it is to leave them for any amount of time, so whether I am simply going in to feed them, walk them, host or stay with them a week it is my goal to make them feel loved and cared for in your absence. I have worked at a kennel where i have acquired hands on experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have received certified training on aggression, behavioural issues as well as delivering special needs/care (i.e. diabetes). I am a non-smoker and respectful of your home. It is my goal to make your experience with me a favourable one. I am also capable of providing customized dog training for puppies and mature dogs. Recently I succesfully fostered a 2 year old Bernese Mountain dog. I was able to train and prepare him for his new forever home. I am semi retired with a flexible schedule. At home we have a well lit safe fenced in yard and a mature standard poodle who is a St John Ambulance therapy dog and very easy going. I own several safe play toys as well as enrichment toys and activity puzzles. Indoors we have extra beds or crate if required. For walks I always have an extra leash, poop bag and I carry a hip bag with a whistle, clicker, and healthy treats.
