About: Hi, I'm Michelle! I am a life-long animal lover and currently have two dogs and three bunnies of my own. My own dog was a very timid rescue, and our journey together led me to learning about dog behavior and training in depth. We love trying out new dog sports and tricks to build her confidence! I currently foster dogs as well and volunteer with a rescue as a post-adoption coordinator, giving assistance to families that also have nervous or reactive rescues. I'm currently available for dog walking or drop in visits for your dog, cat, or rabbits. I have had bunnies for several years and am knowledgeable on their nutrition and other needs. So if you need an experienced bunny sitter in the Barrie area during your time away I'm your girl! I work in the photography business and absolutely love pet photography. I will gladly send photo updates of your pet during our time together :) see photos in profile for examples of the quick snapshots taken during walks or home visits I am currently working from home on flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! Anytime is available weekends and evenings. For weekdays between 9-5 I am flexible for walks or home visits, pick a time and we can discuss! For walks, I like to keep your dog comfortable and in a familiar setting since they are being accompanied by someone new. I will stick to your usual route/in the same area as your home. I will typically avoid larger dogs or busy streets if they seem anxious or distracted, but please let me know if there are any other factors that your dog should avoid. When we come back home I can place them back in their crate if that is preferred.

About: I understand that it’s hard trusting a stranger with your pet but I promise to provide attentive care with clear communication so that my clients can depend on me! I really enjoy spending time with animals. :) Over the years, I grew up with many dogs and cats and have experience with a variety of breeds. Previously I have had a sheltie, cocker spaniel, husky, great pyrenees, bernese. In 2022, I adopted a loveable mixed breed dog from Mexico. I have been working alongside dog trainers for a couple years so have some handling experience and am very aware of dog body language (especially since my dog is fear-reactive). Currently, I’m learning canine first aid and CPR as well as effective défence tactics for worst case scenarios. I live a pretty active lifestyle and am happy strolling slowly or even jogging on a dog walk. Currently, my work schedule is very flexible. I have space for new clients. I take time to greet the dog, making sure their harness and leash are secured. We frequent many parks with little traffic to limit stress to the dog. I try to use all the same commands as the owners to ensure training consistency. Sometimes I teach my dog clients small tricks that help make our walks go smoothly.

I have grown up with dogs and cats almost all my life and currently have two beautiful pups - 2 yr old male standard poodle (our rescue pup) and a 14 yr old male bichon poodle. My entire family loves animals and were all involved in raising, training and caring for them. We have a playful and cozy energy in our home that ensures your pup feels comfortable and welcome in a home environment. Your pet will be treated as another member of the family - loved, cared for and safe. I understand that consistency and obedience is key in maintaining your dogs' daily routines and I will always do my best to accommodate that. During their stay with me, your pup will receive enriching activities, plenty of exercise and playtime in our large (fenced) backyard as well as daily walks. Hanging out on the deck or in the house is up to the pups! Whether your pup wants to play fetch, tug of war, cuddle or even just to sit together, being a stay at home mom allows me to provide your pet with the company they need. I send pictures and videos throughout your dog's stay and provide clear communication with you to ensure a peace of mind. A "meet and greet" for a new guest is highly recommended but not required. This short visit allows for us and your pet to get acquainted and to provide an opportunity to discuss any specific needs prior to your first reservation. I want to make your pet's stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. I’m a stay at home mom and my husband works remotely from home - so we all have plenty of time to play with your pups and keep them company. I am always very attentive when hosting a furry friend. I absolutely love creating a space where your pup can feel safe, happy and comfortable. I ensure to follow any and all instructions provided. I have worked with several different breeds so I understand that each animal is unique and I look forward to getting to know you and your pet!!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and grew up surrounded by dogs my entire life. Over the years, I’ve also cared for a chameleon, hamster, and ferret, which gave me experience with a wide range of pet needs and personalities. I adopted my dog Maia 3 years ago, and she’s full of energy with a big personality, which has taught me a lot about active dogs, structure, and keeping playtime both fun and safe. I also adopted my cat when I was 20. She was very feisty, and no one else wanted to handle her, but I built a strong bond with her over time. We also went through a lot together, including managing her diabetes, so I’m very comfortable and experienced with giving medication and administering insulin injections when needed. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I always aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away❤️ Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life. I'm currently working remote so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m also experienced with more specific care, including administering medication and injections when needed, so I’m comfortable adjusting routines based on each pet’s requirements. Overall, I’m very organized and flexible, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my everyday routine rather than it feeling like an extra task. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and kept in a calm, safe, and structured environment. I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can run, play, and get energy out safely, along with regular walks and supervised outdoor time. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special care instructions. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have taken on volunteering at my local humane society during my school semesters which has broadened my experience and understanding of dogs with and of many different personalities, temperaments, and sizes. I am comfortable around all furry friends and am willing to adapt and learn to suit your pet’s needs. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your animal I will dedicate my time to loving them. I’d be happy to take your dog to parks to interact with other dogs if you have more of social pup or we can stick to what’s familiar and most comfortable like a neighbourhood walk. I have a dog of my own - a Husky/King Shepherd/ Samoyed Mix who recently turned 9, so I’m great with the senior citizens too! I also have two cats, they’re indoor Ragdolls. I am currently available most weekday mornings-afternoons, some evenings! And typically most weekend evenings/afternoons. I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the day, evenings, and weekends. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine and needs. At home, I provide a balanced routine for my pets. My dog gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation through walks, playtime and training. Since she’s approaching senior years, I focus on keeping her active with gentle exercise. I make sure she gets all the love and attention she needs. As for my two cats, I ensure they have space to roam and hide when they need to, and I maintain a consistent feeding schedule to keep them healthy.

I have no training experience but will happily follow your instructions. I have looked after my parents senior Yorkie for extended periods of time as well. I work full-time but my schedule is rotating and flexible allowing a variety of availability. Some available times during the week, mornings, evenings and weekends. I have toys, a pet bed and food dishes for any visiting pets. I don't have a fenced in space but live close to the Ardagh bluffs with accessibility to a ton of walking trails
