About: I love all kinds of animals. I grew up surrounded by pets; I took care of many including dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, and even a chicken! However, none of these were my own, but I learnt to understand their unique needs, care, and learnt to love them all as family. This was until 2017, when my cat Perlita gave birth to three kittens in my garage. Only one of these kittens made it, Thomas, and me and my family decided to adopt them both. My most recent experience includes sitting my neighbour's dog (a brown Labrador) during the day, and taking care of my friend's cat for several days and overnights. While completing my studies, I worked at the Pet Grooming Salon at PetSmart. This experience allowed me to learn how to quickly build trust with dogs and interact with many pet parents. I currently work on weekends, so I am available anytime Monday-Thursday in the morning, afternoon, or evening to be a companion to your furry friend. I do not drive and you can count on me and your pet to go on some long and fun walks. I am very familiar with my neighbourhood and I’m always open to exploring new parks, play safely, and even visit dog parks if you wish. Your pet's safety is a priority to me; I will always keep an extra eye on them and take additional steps to make sure they are having fun while being safe. I know how to take care of cats with seizure/ epilepsy as some of my friends' cats have epi. I am very familiar with giving oral meds and emergency situations. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since my childhood - including my family’s, friends and neighbours. The pets have had different temperaments and needs, that I have adapted to. I have potty and crate trained two of my own puppies and looked after pets that need some extra love and attention (dogs with medical issues - ie. cancer, terminal cats).
