I took care of them for over 12 years until I moved to Canada. While raising my own dogs I also looked after friends’ dogs from time to time. Now we have one small rescue dog, and we've been caring for him for the past 3 years. Since I was a child, I’ve always loved being around dogs. I have experience with puppy training, potty training, house training and senior dog care. I’m naturally attentive to even small changes in a dog’s behavior or mood which helps me respond quickly and appropriately to their needs. I’m calm and patient which helps pets feel safe and comfortable around me—especially those who may be shy or anxious. I have a strong bond with animals and a deep understanding of their needs. I also practice Reiki which can help promote relaxation and emotional balance in pets. I’m home all day, so I can provide 24/7 care for your pet. I’m happy to accommodate flexible schedules, including special requests, feeding times, walk routines, potty breaks and exercise. I’ll do my best to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and at ease. I have a fenced balcony and a friendly dog who can keep your pup company. If needed I can easily separate spaces to ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable. Also my husband stays home after work (8–4, Sun to Thu) in the evenings overnight and on all his days off. There is always someone at home so your dog will never be left unattended.
About: I am so grateful to be surrounded by dogs and cats in my life. My first pet was a beautiful long-haired Shih Tzu that my family had the opportunity to live with for 12 years. I've also had a rescue dog (lab/ bull/ terrier mixed) named Remy. Remy lived happily with 6 other Persian cats that we had before he crossed the rainbow bridge. He was a cat lover! Pinky (labradoodle) joined our family 3.5 years ago. She's an angel and my 2 kids love her to the moon. She is very well-behaved and always welcomes other dogs. I have a flexible job which I mostly work on weekends so I am flexible on weekdays. I am available to do pick up/ drop off within Burnaby/ Vancouver area. I live in a townhouse with lots of outdoor space nearby and a small fenced yard. My pup and I often go for walks in Burnaby Mountain or nearby trails.
