About: I have had my current dog for over a year and we are training to become a Therapy Dog Team. I previously volunteered at Capital Humane Society for 6 months as an Adoption Counselor. I am currently volunteering at Great Lakes Dog Rescue. Growing up I helped take care of the family dog. I took Veterinary Science at the Henry Doorly Zoo in high school and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. I have experience in training and know how to give dogs vaccinations. I am also happy to provide a basic behavioral profile for your dog for future sittings. I'm currently working part-time in a clinic. Typically scheduled Mondays: 7-1, Tuesdays 12-6, and Thursdays 1-7. Outside of that I have an open schedule and am happy to make time to take care of dogs. I live in an apartment and walk my dogs almost daily. More than happy to do dog introductions before sitting. If it’s a house sitting, more than happy to keep the dogs fairly separate and will take my dog to my apartment instead of leaving the dogs alone. I will never leave my dog and your dog alone in the house.

I have a good understanding of doggy car safety and pay close attention to my furry friends even when outside for potty breaks ! I’ve got lots of free time as I just quit my full time job to spend more time at home with my senior pups and teenager! I would care for your babes with the carefree fun of your favorite auntie but the watchful eye of a helicopter mom!
