About: I have had my current dog for over a year and we are training to become a Therapy Dog Team. I previously volunteered at Capital Humane Society for 6 months as an Adoption Counselor. I am currently volunteering at Great Lakes Dog Rescue. Growing up I helped take care of the family dog. I took Veterinary Science at the Henry Doorly Zoo in high school and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. I have experience in training and know how to give dogs vaccinations. I am also happy to provide a basic behavioral profile for your dog for future sittings. I'm currently working part-time in a clinic. Typically scheduled Mondays: 1-7, Tuesdays 12-6, and Thursdays 1-7. Outside of that I have an open schedule and am happy to make time to take care of dogs. I live in an apartment and walk my dogs almost daily. More than happy to do dog introductions before sitting. If it’s a house sitting, more than happy to keep the dogs fairly separate and will take my dog to my apartment instead of leaving the dogs alone. I will never leave my dog and your dog alone in the house.

From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly thorough—asking every important question and answering all of ours with patience and clarity. We instantly felt at ease leaving our 9-year-old Apollo in her care. She was always extremely responsive, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating to both Apollo's needs and ours (including bringing in mail and packages). Our home was left spotless and tidy. The daily updates were a highlight—multiple photos and messages each day showing Apollo happily running in the yard, playing indoors, getting tons of cuddles, and smiling with his chompers lol. Seeing how content and loved he was allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our family vacation without a single worry! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled (leaving us stuck in airports for an extra 30 hours), Carissa immediately and graciously agreed to stay an additional night. About: I have pet sat in my home and drop by visits of, dogs, cats, lizards, and fish for the past 8 or so years for money and have owned pets my whole life. I have watch anywhere from 1 to 7 dogs at a time and have multiple cats at one time. If I am doing drop by visits I perfer spend about 1 hour or more at the house each visit. During this time I will feed, water, let animals use bathroom, clean any and all messes inside and outside of the home, and play inside and/or outside with the pet. I take pictures for each visit of the pets as well as send a synopsis of the visit to the pet owner upon request. The day of or prior to the owner returning, I can sweep and mop the main living area or vacuum especiallyif it has been wet outside. If you let me know where bathing and brushing equipment is, I am also willing to wash and brush any and all pets prior to the pet owner coming home. This way the owner can come home and enjoy time with their pet rather than cleaning. I am a military veteran who is taking time off my job as a veterinary assistant to help care for alling family member. Due to my experience with military I am very time oriented and organized, but can function well in crazy environments as well. In addition to that with my experience of working in the veterinary field I am well adapt to give medication and handle medical emergencies with animals. This being said if I notice a medical issue with your pet I will take it to be seen, but will notify you prior to taking them. I personally have a diabetic cat, so I am also comfortable with giving injections and taking blood glucose reading from pets. I also have experience giving fluids under the skin if the animal is in renal failure or for any other reason. I am comfortable giving pills to animals that need medication in that form as well. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I am able to visit your home at any time with the exception of 7 am to 8 am and 7 pm to 8 pm when I need to feed and medicate my own diabetic cat. If there is a time I am unable to visit due to care of my family I will let you know prior to our booking. Dogs will go on daily walks around the neighborhood to relieve any pent up energy and/or have yard time if you have a fenced in yard. All pets will receive lots of pets, love, and play time from myself.

About: Hi ! I’m Jamie and I’ve been dog sitting for 18 years. I’m very flexible when it comes to times for drop off and pickup . I absolutely love dogs and I’m looking forward to watching your dogs and to meeting you ! Please make sure you’ dog is up to date with shots, flee prevention meds and that they get along with other dogs. My price is 40 dollars a night and that’s a firm price. Doggie day care is 50 a day for 8 hours . I do not have any pets of my own. I accept long term boarding. LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS ACCEPTED AS LONG AS YOUR PUP GETS ALONG WITH OTHERS . I am now offering house sitting. I’m unable to walk the dogs and I will not sit in a house with cameras because I’m not comfortable being watched while doing my job. Your dogs will get almost constant care . I will need to leave for at least an hour to go home and feed my birds and grab whatever I need. I’m retired so I have lots of time to spoil your dogs ! I’m very easy going about drop offs and pickup times. The dogs have full run of the house and they are treated as if they are at home. They are allowed on furniture and can sleep in our bed i ( if you allow it ) they can run off energy in our fenced in area and if they like playing ball or fetch we will definitely play with them. Please give me a list of shots , proof of flea prevention medication and any extra things you can think of . Please provide food and any special instructions. If they need medication please list them and the dosage. I can give shots and prefer the needles measured out ahead of time.,
