From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly thorough—asking every important question and answering all of ours with patience and clarity. We instantly felt at ease leaving our 9-year-old Apollo in her care. She was always extremely responsive, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating to both Apollo's needs and ours (including bringing in mail and packages). Our home was left spotless and tidy. The daily updates were a highlight—multiple photos and messages each day showing Apollo happily running in the yard, playing indoors, getting tons of cuddles, and smiling with his chompers lol. Seeing how content and loved he was allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our family vacation without a single worry! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled (leaving us stuck in airports for an extra 30 hours), Carissa immediately and graciously agreed to stay an additional night. Knowing Apollo was in such capable, caring hands made a stressful travel day, much easier. Carissa's professionalism, genuine love for dogs, and thoughtful attention to detail made our trip better than we could have hoped. “I'm truly thankful to have met and hired Yushonda. I have watched over 100 dogs, and I mean it when I say she is a step above everyone else. Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people. About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. They are one of the things in life that make me the happiest. There is nothing more important to me than providing your pet with the best experience possible. I have a contract based job where teach extra curricular activities after school and I also help run a nonprofit so my schedule is pretty open during the day for most of the year. Safety as my number one when it comes to pets. Additionally, when in someone else's home I understand that they and their pet have their own preferences and processes which I always respect.

About: My name is Ashley. I am a Mother of 2 teenage boys, the wife of a US Soldier, a USMC veteran, and a long time pet mom. I know how difficult it is to leave your pets with a sitter or boarding. It’s hard to tell who will be kind and good with them, while you are away. I have sit for friends and family. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, reptiles, sheep, goats and horses. I am comfortable with administering medications. I can come meet you and your pets ahead of time. I will send updates and photos throughout your time away. I hope you will allow me to help with your animals! I teach most of the year but I am off work for the Summer. I have an open schedule throughout the day. I can not sleep overnight, but I am ok with early morning care. I make sure to have a fun and playful environment with my pets. They also get a lot of cuddle time with our family. My animals spend a lot of time outside and at the dog park. If your pets need extra attention, extra playtime and extra cuddles, I can handle that too.
