“Kyla came and walked one of our two dogs with me for the last 3 days since I needed a hand wrangling dogs and a toddler for walks. She was a fantastic help and we had great conversation during our walks. Prior to this Kyla did some pet sitting for our cat and was wonderful. We’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future.”

“Goes above and beyond. Jessica took the time to get to know my dog so he was comfortable. Jessica always makes sure my loved one has food and water, goes to the bathroom and so much more I can’t think of.”

About: I have cared for my family pets since I was 12. I bathed, trimmed nails, fed and administered medication to them at any time it was needed. I’ve become really fond of animal care as I’ve grown. I have worked at a pet store for about 3 years and have a good understanding of body language and the patience for animals who may need a little time to warm up. I currently work at a dog groomers in the morning to late afternoons. I don’t have a set schedule so my days change often but I’m always open to communication and working things out to accomplish what we need. I have a open floor plan in my home. Other pets to keep them company as well. I always say no one knows your dog better than you and I fully stand by it. I want to keep your pet in as normal, healthy and happy environment as possible. About: I have over two years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through both a professional doggy daycare setting and pet sitting for families. At the daycare, I work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments in group play, making sure they stayed safe, social, and well cared for. I also have experience working one-on-one with more aggressive or reactive dogs in private play settings, so I understand how to read behavior and handle different personalities with patience and care. I’m not currently working this summer, so I have plenty of flexibility for drop-ins and let-outs throughout the day. I’m currently looking for a part-time job, but i’ll still have consistent availability for pet care. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make sure pets get the attention, potty breaks, and routine they’re used to! I provide care in your home so your pet can stay comfortable in their own space. I follow all instructions you leave for feeding, potty breaks, crates, and routines. I take safety seriously doors locked, leashes secured, and pets supervised during let‑outs. “Daisy is such a joy to work with. She is so amazing with my dog reactive Great Dane, she always takes extra precautions and steps necessary to make sure their walks are a success and as low stress for both of them as possible. Today, with less than an hour before Harley’s scheduled walk, I threw Daisy for a loop and asked her if she could go to a different house that she’s never been to before to pick Harley up and on top of that, asked if she would mind bringing a friend to walk my stepsister‘s dog who was there with Harley. She had no issue accommodating to these plans and did not even expect to get compensated for the additional time and effort (which I absolutely did anyways). I would highly recommend Daisy to anybody looking for somebody to care for and love their pet! She is so amazing!”

About: Hi! 🤗 thanks for checking me out! I have a ton of experience with animals! I have experience in animal hospitals and doggy daycares alike 😃 Taking care of animals is where my heart is. I’ve always had multiple animals at a time. CPR and trauma experienced. I’m available all the time currently! Which means longer walks, play in the yard, or cuddles! I walk dogs full time so don’t be shy! I can’t watch anyone in my apartment, but I can come to your home or take them out and about! My attitude changes with each animal as I learn them. Most dogs I’m pretty playful with and have a lot of high energy play, some like to just sit next to a warm body on the couch and I can do that too.
About: I have a large, fenced in yard - perfect for lots of play. Pets have full range of the house and furniture unless crating is desired. I have two very playful dogs who love to chase and play tug. I work full time night shift Sunday-weds. My boyfriend is home the nights I am away. Dogs will rarely be left alone and if so only for 1-4 hours. My home has a fenced yard as well as an invisible fence due to my dogs being super expert escape artists. I am used to dogs being sneaky so it shouldn’t be an issue keeping yours safe and secure.

Cailin was wonderful w our 2 herding breed dogs. They can both be pretty high energy and she made sure they got enough exercise. The dogs seemed to love her and she sent us great updates and the cutest pics! It is so nice to know they are being well cared for when we aren’t home! Cailin is great!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
