About: I have been around pets my whole life. I had a beagle that was 2 when I was born so I grew up helping care for her. I have cared for turtles, fish, and a chameleon. Currently, I have a cat that I have raised from birth. I have helped my aunt with her two golden retrievers when she needed someone to take them out during the day and feed them while she was at work or away on vacation. For the past two summers, I have cared for my uncle's 12 year-old chocolate lab when their family is on vacation. She is a senior dog that needs a little more care and consideration. I am a recent high school graduate and my summer is open. I am attending Mott Community College in the fall, so I am also not going away to school. I plan to provide service to the client at their home. I currently live at home, so I can't care for animals at my house.

My two labs, one 75#, one 125# (so not everyone can handle to walk them) and Jess watched them for a week while we were out of town. Did an awesome job, highly recommend. ❤️

About: I’ve been around dogs and caring for them since I was little! I’ve helped my mom with a rescue in the past, so I’m used to caring for multiple small or large dogs at once. I also have experience caring for my cat who I adopted when I was 5, two birds I used to own, fish, and a bunny! I have experience dealing with puppies, senior dogs, and pregnant dogs. I’m currently very available, so please reach out with any days you might need my help! I do have a cat of my own at home, so if you need me to stay at your home I will need to leave in the mornings/night to feed her. I have two very friendly Australian shepherds at home! I have a fenced in yard, and lots of toys and treats! When caring for a pet at your home, I will follow any house rules and show your pet lots of love.

Daisy did a fantastic job walking my dog, Callie! She was very punctual, went the extra mile (literally!), and clearly takes her responsibilities seriously. I really appreciated how detailed she was with her updates—it gave me great peace of mind knowing how the walk went and how Callie was doing. Callie seemed very happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Daisy and would happily book with her again!

About: Hello! I’m Lily and i’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes for several years. My love for animals has always existed but growing up, we did not have an adequate household to take care of a dog. As a kid, I volunteered regularly at a local animal shelter and began pet sitting for friends and neighbors at the age of 13. By the time I was 19, I had saved up enough money and did enough research to get a dog of my own who I absolutely adore! When it comes to caring for your pets, I appreciate any notes on routines, medication instructions (if applicable), or any details that you think I could find useful before caring for your pet to ensure that they have a happy, and most importantly safe stay with me! I have experience with reactive dogs & dogs with separation anxiety. If your dog struggles with either of these challenges please let me know beforehand so I can better meet their needs! I am mainly available on weekends but I can make accommodations for weekdays if you let me know in advance. Please message me for further information! Please message me for information regarding scheduling! I work full time but your fur baby will always be my number one priority while in my care! Lets chat about your dogs likes, dislikes, triggers, and motivators. This information can be essential in setting your dog up for success while staying with me!

About: Hi! 🤗 thanks for checking me out! I have a ton of experience with animals! I have experience in animal hospitals and doggy daycares alike 😃 Taking care of animals is where my heart is. I’ve always had multiple animals at a time. CPR and trauma experienced. I’m available all the time currently! Which means longer walks, play in the yard, or cuddles! I walk dogs full time so don’t be shy! I can’t watch anyone in my apartment, but I can come to your home or take them out and about! My attitude changes with each animal as I learn them. Most dogs I’m pretty playful with and have a lot of high energy play, some like to just sit next to a warm body on the couch and I can do that too.

About: I have a large, fenced in yard - perfect for lots of play. Pets have full range of the house and furniture unless crating is desired. I have two very playful dogs who love to chase and play tug. I work full time night shift Sunday-weds. My boyfriend is home the nights I am away. Dogs will rarely be left alone and if so only for 1-4 hours. My home has a fenced yard as well as an invisible fence due to my dogs being super expert escape artists. I am used to dogs being sneaky so it shouldn’t be an issue keeping yours safe and secure.

About: I have loved all pets since I was kid;) I normally help friends with their dogs, but I was trying to branch out;) I used to just have cats, but we added two bunnies to the mix and may adopt more. I work full time Monday-Friday at home, but I have a lot of flexibility, as long as I get my 8 hrs at work in;) I would prefer the clients home to visit. I have 3 cats and 2 bunnies at this time;) My place is relatively smaller and pets like to be in their common place.

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
