About: I started on Rover a few years back, and have met so many amazing animals and families along the way! I love animals and giving them the attention they deserve, especially when their family is out of town and they don’t know what’s going on! I love making sure they don’t feel lonely throughout the day. I’m very familiar with separation anxiety and making them feel extra loved! I have experience with small dogs to dogs bigger than me. I have watched senior dogs with lots of limitations, puppies with so much energy they don’t know what to do with it, and special needs dogs that has additional requirements. I have watched 1 dog to 5 dogs at a time. I have also stayed and taken care of reptiles, chickens, etc. I live in Fenton and work full-time in Flint. I do work full time from 8a-4:30p. And if it permits, will stop during my lunch break to visit as well! I am available evenings and weekends. I have been utilizing my younger sister to help work schedules out as well. She’s been really awesome with the animals and is more available for frequent visits during the day. I would bring her with me for the meet and greet to ensure you your animals are well taken care of while you’re gone 😊 anything I cannot cover, she usually does! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running around and playing! I love being outside, especially if it’s nice, so walks or visits to the dog park will be routine for us! I do work full time, 8am-4:30pm. I am available to stop during my lunch hour for potty breaks, walks, etc. I am most available after work and on the weekends! I know the importance of making sure your animal is getting the love they’re used to when you’re home. I always want to make them feel extra loved and special, especially when they’re in an environment they might be uncomfortable in because it’s a new space (if boarding at my house) or you’re not home. Stimulation is very important to I always make sure to pay them more attention than they probably even need! And treats and important too, if their diet allows :)

A flexible schedule is ideal, considering I am primary caregiver to my two children. Looking for a part time schedule during school hours. We have just under two acres- not fenced- of beautiful land for your best friend to run and play! Lots of space inside, with option of storing a crate, if needed. Our children will not be part of the boarding experience as they are not home on weekends. Our dog passed unexpectedly this year of cancer and it wrecked us. Although we cannot replace her, we would love to provide a happy place for your beloved pet to stay and be loved while you are away or need a break. 🩷

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I’ve spent more than 25 years caring for them, and I love having them around so much that even my employees used to bring their dogs to work! I know our dogs are part of our families, and I also know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for them. I would want you to have that same peace of mind knowing your dog is being loved and cared for while you’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely love, and I’m fortunate to be able to dedicate myself to it full time! My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give the pets in my care my full attention. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I want every owner to feel confident that their furry family member is getting the same love, attention, and care they would receive at home. I absolutely love spending time with animals! One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every pet has a personality of their own, and I seem to have a natural instinct for understanding what makes them happy. Some dogs love playing fetch, chasing a Frisbee, or being challenged to learn new tricks. Others love swimming in our lake, which is something we can enjoy together with their owner’s permission and proper supervision. And if they don’t like water, that’s perfectly fine! We can go for walks, play their favorite games, or find something else they enjoy. Then there are those who would rather just relax, cuddle, have their belly rubbed, or curl up in their doggie bed with someone nearby. I love that just as much! I believe the best way to care for animals is to pay attention to their individual personalities, respect their routines, and let them enjoy the things that make them happy. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, a senior dog, or a cat who prefers a little independence, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. After all, they’re part of the family!

About: Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a pediatric mental health case manager with a passion for helping my community. One of my first passions in life is animals! For many years, I have been sitting, walking, and taking care of neighborhood dogs. Now I am opening my doors to provide a fun, safe, and healthy environment for your pet! I work from home 3 to 4 days a week, with 1 to 2 days a week in the office for only a few hours at a time. We have two fur babies at home, a golden doodle and a chocolate lab/pointer, to keep your fur babies company!
