About: I am such an animal person- they are the best friends and sweetest creatures. I’m incredibly passionate about animal caretaking; I love meeting people’s pets and getting to know their personalities and quirks. I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young; I dogsat for families in my neighborhood and took care of my two cats. Before she passed, I took care of my senior cat Jasmine, so I also have experience in senior animal care. I currently walk, feed and take care of dogs in the local area while I work as a teaching assistant and master's student at NMSU. Additionally, I volunteer at a local animal shelter to take care of and keep company furry friends! Pet care is an important part of my routine; its good exercise and being around animals is one of my favorite things. Sometimes the best part of my day is when I get to meet a little friend! I really enjoy spending time with them outside as well. Before animal sitting, I make sure I go over the pet’s needs with the owner, any triggers, boundaries and environmental hazards. I make sure to be cleanly and efficient while making sure that the pet feels comfortable and engaged with!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs since I could crawl on all fours! I’ve raised multiple kitty litters. I’m totally comfortable with dogs and cats, large and small, old and young. I let out my personal dogs multiple times a day. I feed them breakfast and dinner. Work on some tricks with a reward! And I’m constantly surrounded and comfortable with my family and friends animals. There’s never been a time where I haven’t had a cat and a dog. Throughout the day I take out my 2 dogs in to my fenced in back yard. I have a senior pup so I’m experienced with giving medications too.

“Julia was absolutely amazing! She did 3 drops in visits for us with Harley last week and it was the best experience. Harley can be very timid and scared and Julia even came by our house the day before to meet him while we were home and Harley took to her right away, it made me feel so good about my decision. I travel for work and we will definitely be using Julia everytime going forward as long as she is available. Every update included photos and in each photo harley looked happy and comfortable it made me feel so good to know he was being taken care of while I was away and my husband was at work.
