About: I am such an animal person- they are the best friends and sweetest creatures. I’m incredibly passionate about animal caretaking; I love meeting people’s pets and getting to know their personalities and quirks. I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young; I dogsat for families in my neighborhood and took care of my two cats. Before she passed, I took care of my senior cat Jasmine, so I also have experience in senior animal care. I currently walk, feed and take care of dogs in the local area while I work as a teaching assistant and master's student at NMSU. Additionally, I volunteer at a local animal shelter to take care of and keep company furry friends! Pet care is an important part of my routine; its good exercise and being around animals is one of my favorite things. Sometimes the best part of my day is when I get to meet a little friend! I really enjoy spending time with them outside as well. Before animal sitting, I make sure I go over the pet’s needs with the owner, any triggers, boundaries and environmental hazards. I make sure to be cleanly and efficient while making sure that the pet feels comfortable and engaged with!

About: Although I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for pets. I've provided pet sitting and drop-in care for friends and friends of friends, giving me experience with dogs and cats of different personalities, routines, and energy levels. Once the school year begins, my availability will become more structured as I return to teaching, but I will continue to update my schedule and communicate clearly to make sure I can provide reliable care for the pets I commit to. About: Hello! This is my first time using Rover/pet sitting outside of my family and I’m very excited to meet new and adorable animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am also a quick learner willing and eager to take care of nearly any kind of pet (reptiles, birds, fish) if necessary! My mom was a vet most of my life, so much of my experience and knowledge has come from watching her take care of our pets. I am not medically trained in any capacity, I have just had a wide range of experience with dogs and cats. I have my own car and I am currently unemployed. I’m available in the afternoons after 1 on weekdays and pretty much anytime on weekends! Contact me anytime for my availability! Safety is paramount when it comes to your furry (or hairless) friends! Whether outside on walks, in the yard, or even inside; I will be sure to have eyes on your animal and the environment at all times. I have had several negative experiences with my own dogs on leashes and I feel comfortable putting myself in between both my animals and yours and whatever may try to harm them.

About: I currently work at the Newport Navy Base at All Paws On Deck doggie day care. I have been there for about a year and am currently one of the lead staff members there taking care of the dogs. I have learned so much on dog behavior and safety. Since working there it has ignited an interest to become a dog trainer. The joy that dogs bring to my life has been so rewarding and I love every minute of my job and being with all my furry friends. I have grown up with always having a dog in my life and had parents that instilled responsibility that came along with it. I have watched and been responsible for friends and neighbors dogs when a helping hand is needed. My up bringing with always having a dog was that they are not just an animal but another member of the family and have to be treated as such. I have been very lucky to have had grown up with amazing dogs. I have rescued 2 beautiful greyhounds that were former racers in Florida. This particular breed is my passion due to the challenges it gives to teach them how to transition from the track to home life. This breed typically has never been inside a home and needs to be taught everything! Stairs, Windows, glass sliding doors, furniture, a yard, trust, and having her own toys and bed. This has taught me so much on how to relate to the dog and learn how they see life. My life currently when im not working is spending time with my family and enjoying the "island life" in Portsmouth. It is my husband and I along with our two boys and Anita (my greyhound). I work part time at the doggie day care. My availability time is flexible. I work half days so im available in the morning or afternoon depending on the day. I will respect the clients home and their pets boundaries and needs. I see it as entering their safe space and would not want them to feel that I am there to change that or threaten that.

About: I have taken care of both big and small dogs. Whether it be overnight care or just daily check ins/walks. I have experience with dog care, and I have experience in childcare as well. Recently graduated RWU. I work a Monday - Friday however have time after 6pm as well as mid day and weekends. Open to walks or more. I know that pets are basically furry children. You need the best care with someone that you can trust. I understand this responsibility and I will give them the same love and care I would my own pets.

About: Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing long walks or a senior pet requiring medication, I am comfortable, patient, and prepared. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience while you are away. I work from home, so your baby will get nonstop attention and cuddles! I do have a fenced in yard and do not require dogs to be crate trained. I always prioritize your dog’s specific needs—whether that’s gentle walks for seniors or active play for puppies. I work from home/have a flexible schedule, allowing me to be present with your dog/cat. I treat every pet like they are part of my family and always focus on both your pet’s mental and physical exercise. I ensure a safe environment by keeping fresh water available, maintaining a clean space, and checking that all gates are secure. I do allow your pet to sleep on my bed unless instructed otherwise. I send photo/video updates and follow your feeding/medication instructions as well as any others given. I do allow meet & greets at my house if preferred!

About: I’m a law student at RWU with a flexible schedule and would love to help care for your pets! I recently finished a three-week dog-sitting stay in the owners’ home and can provide references. I love going on walks and spending time with dogs, and I’m also a dog mom myself to a dachshund back home in Texas I'm home for the summer from school and have pretty open availability, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m flexible throughout the day and can easily adjust to meet the needs of different pets and schedules—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy, so it fits naturally into my routine this summer. I only provide care in the client’s home, which I find helps pets feel more comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. When I’m in someone’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, playtime preferences, and any special needs or medications. I make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and affection, and I always do my best to keep them happy and stress-free while their owners are away. Communication is important to me, so I’m happy to send updates and photos during visits as well!

I’m comfortable administering oral medications and insulin, and I’m CPR certified for dogs so your pet safety is always a top priority. I stay calm, attentive, and prepared in any situation. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet who needs extra patience and gentle care, I always treat every animal like they’re my own. I only work part-time so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m able to structure my schedule around walks playtime, feedings, and any special care that they may need. Because I’m not gone long hours pets aren’t left them alone for extended periods, and I can provide consistent companionship and supervision. When caring for your baby in your home I do my best to keep the routine as normal inconsistent as possible, and follow all feeding schedules, walk, routines, medication, instructions, and household guidelines, exactly as provided. I make sure that your pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their comfort levels.
