He is reliable, kind, and punctual. He worked his way through college as the weekend manager of the Robert Potter League for Animals in Middletown Rhode Island. Since retiring he pet sits regularly for his children. As a recently-retired professional I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I own a home with a large fenced in yard, which is wonderful for playing and exploring. I reside in a very walkable/dog-friendly neighborhood. I am available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 1:00 PM. I am open to walking pets and daily drop-ins as well. I have a large enclosed yard and occasionally pet sit for my children's dogs. Their dogs (Forgie and Greta) are friendly and comfortable being around other dogs. My house is clean, quiet, and peaceful. Southern exposure provides sunlit, cozy spaces for your dogs to enjoy. I have mini-split AC to keep your pup cool on hot summer days.

About: I've grown up with a dog my whole life and taken care of her personal needs. I also adopted my own cat and have been happily taking care of him for the past 6 years. Neighbors, friends, and a lot of family have come to me to bathe, walk, or care for their pets and I've always obliged happily. My pets routine mixes in with my own, for instance when I eat breakfast, I'll feed my dog and cat their breakfast as well. If you also have a pet that needs caring other than dog or cat, I have also worked on a petting zoo and know how to care for barn animals along with rabbits and ducks.

About: I have owned and taken care of others' dogs (and cats) since the 1950s. Not quite Cesar Millan, but dogs usually pay attention when I whisper, or use CSL (canine sign language). Love the nonjudgemental relationship that dogs provide so much better than humans. Our Abyssinian cat misses his brother, a black lab, and sits on my lap to provide mutual comfort. I am a retired lawyer with a very flexible schedule. A few community and social obligations some evenings and Sunday mornings. Spending time with dogs will go a long way to curing me of undesirable couch potato tendencies. My wife and I now live in a small apartment with not enough room for pets unless preapproved by our Abyssinian cat. In the future, might make room for temporary visits by small dogs (or cats).

About: Hi! I have been around all kinds of pet growing up, and I have been dog sitting for years. I treat every pet with as much love and care as I do for my own pets. I worked for a summer as a part time dog washer and I can care for pets of all sizes and ages. I am a full time senior college student from Roger Williams University and I am on the softball team there as well. I will be staying in the Bristol area during the month of January while working an internship throughout the week, and dog walking/sitting would allow me to work and spend some time with some furry friends. I treat every pet I sit and walk as one of my own. I work hard to make sure that when you go away on your trip that you and pets are as relaxed as possible. I find the best way to minimize the stress of leaving for you and your pets is to have an introductory meeting and walk through their daily routine. Every pet has their quirks! No information is too much or insignificant. I understand how hard it is to leave a pet while taking a trip as they are part of your family. Trusting a stranger to watch your pet is hard and possibly boarding your pet can be a difficult decision. I will work hard to make sure that when you return home your pet was treated with the same care as you would give them!

About: I have always grown up living with dogs. Personally I had 4 little dogs, 2 Bichon's and 2 Toy Poodle's in my own house, but I always was the person in the family to "babysit" the other dogs in the family. I'd feed, bathe, and walk the dogs depending on what was needed and I have always managed to get along with any dog I meet. I am currently a full time student at Roger Williams University and am working a part time marketing job that is remote. I have a good amount of time during the day since my classes are normally in the morning at 8-10 and other classes are at night from 6-9. Th When I usually sit, I tend to hang out with the dog for a longer time than usually, especially if they have been alone for awhile. Depending on where the location is and if it is nice out I'd be more than happy to take the pup on a walk or even play fetch outside.

I’m ok with snakes too, but don’t have care experience. Currently in a place where we can only have a cat and I miss having a dog so much. I have a flexible schedule with no specific routine. I have client appointments at varying times each week, so I can work around that. If you need a consistent schedule, I can plan for that as well. In your home I will be happy to learn your pets routine and boundaries. I can feed, change water, crate, give medicine, play games and take your pet out for potty time. I’m ok with cleaning up puppy pads for puppies only. Adult dogs I am fine with walking or outdoor cleanup.
