About: Although I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for pets. About: Since I was 12 years old, I have been sitting for friends' and friends-of-friends' animals, in addition to having several pets of my own. I also have experience babysitting and housesitting, which have informed my work ethic and quality of care. I have experience raising kittens and puppies, as well as caring for adults and senior dogs and cats. I have two dogs, three cats, and a rabbit back at home— but I currently take full care for my 18-year-old cat Greenbean, which requires administering medication, adhering to a strict feeding routine, and monitoring her health closely. About: I grew up on a farm where we’ve always had animals of all sizes including dogs from yorkies to great danes. I’m familiar with medication maintenance & training. I value quality play time & keeping clean. Currently finishing my degree at RWU and working part time in the evenings, I am able to easily fit your pet into my day-2-day routine. I have a small backyard and live in a walkable downtown area. Two kitties are in my home that have lived with a dog before.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and I love being around them every day. I currently work as a dog daycare attendant, and I have experience teaching basic dog care to kids in a dog kennel setting. I have taken care of 15 dogs on my own while managing a class of kids. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare, and I am doing school online. I am open to help most days that I am not working. I have worked in a dog kennel/shelter for a summer as an instructor and taking care of the dogs. I also currently work as a dog daycare attendant where I monitor the dogs and make sure they are safe and taken care of. I currently have two dogs at home that are mainly indoor, but I have a small yard for them to play in as well. I like to play fetch with them at least two times a day to make sure they are getting proper exercise.

About: I have taken care of both big and small dogs. Whether it be overnight care or just daily check ins/walks. I have experience with dog care, and I have experience in childcare as well. Recently graduated RWU. I work a Monday - Friday however have time after 6pm as well as mid day and weekends. Open to walks or more. I know that pets are basically furry children. You need the best care with someone that you can trust. I understand this responsibility and I will give them the same love and care I would my own pets.

About: I currently work at the Newport Navy Base at All Paws On Deck doggie day care. I have been there for about a year and am currently one of the lead staff members there taking care of the dogs. I have learned so much on dog behavior and safety. Since working there it has ignited an interest to become a dog trainer. The joy that dogs bring to my life has been so rewarding and I love every minute of my job and being with all my furry friends. I have grown up with always having a dog in my life and had parents that instilled responsibility that came along with it. I have watched and been responsible for friends and neighbors dogs when a helping hand is needed. My up bringing with always having a dog was that they are not just an animal but another member of the family and have to be treated as such. I have been very lucky to have had grown up with amazing dogs. I have rescued 2 beautiful greyhounds that were former racers in Florida. This particular breed is my passion due to the challenges it gives to teach them how to transition from the track to home life. This breed typically has never been inside a home and needs to be taught everything! Stairs, Windows, glass sliding doors, furniture, a yard, trust, and having her own toys and bed. This has taught me so much on how to relate to the dog and learn how they see life. My life currently when im not working is spending time with my family and enjoying the "island life" in Portsmouth. It is my husband and I along with our two boys and Anita (my greyhound). I work part time at the doggie day care. My availability time is flexible. I work half days so im available in the morning or afternoon depending on the day. I will respect the clients home and their pets boundaries and needs. I see it as entering their safe space and would not want them to feel that I am there to change that or threaten that.

About: I took care of the family dog for 12 years and now have two goldendoodles of my own. I've helped with giving baths, giving medication, feeding, walking, playing and giving treats, along with whatever else was needed. I work remotely so my schedule is pretty flexible. I'll be free to come take care of your pet, whether that's bringing them on a walk, getting them some exercise, or just playing around. I would be able to bring your pet for a walk (short or long depending on their preference or ability), hang out with them indoors, or whatever other type of care they might need. I will treat your pet with love and patience, as if they were my own. I have no problem adapting to the level of care your pet needs, whether that's playing fetch with them to get some energy out or hanging around inside and giving them lots of pets and attention.
