Dog Walking in Portsmouth

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years, I am a huge animal lover. For neighbors, friends, family, all dogs and cats big and small I have so much love for them all. I work part time as a CNA, I only work a few days a week so I am available to watch your pups! I work every other weekend so i’d be available for boarding on my off weekends. I have a large yard and my dog gets taken out on a leash, I have a puppy so I am familiar with crate training and house training.

About: Owned dogs entire life, have trained rescue dogs, and have experience in providing senior care for dogs. My dog is diabetic so I also have experience with insulin injections and oral medication. I have a fenced in backyard and many toys for dogs to play with! I am able to board and care for dogs throughout the weeks due to flexibility in my schedule. I am also willing to let your dog out when available, and help in any way I can! I will make sure the dogs are loved and shown affection, played with, walked, and taken care of as needed. I will always make sure the dogs are happy, have water at all times, toys to play with, etc.

About: I have experience caring for and walking multiple large dogs at once. I have also cared for elderly dogs and dogs with medical needs. I like to learn every dogs needs and behaviors so they feel safe when in my care. I’m a professional volleyball player home for the summer so my hours are very open! I am very active and can take your dogs for nice long walks. I respect the owners space and their recommendations for pet care. I make sure to understand the space so the animals feel safe when I enter their home and so I know where all their necessities are.

“Antonio is an amazing dog walker. He brings treats for my dog, Kapu, and makes sure Kapu takes water breaks during his walks. I’m almost never home when Antonio comes but I assure you that you can trust him 100% with any task. He knows where my house keys are & he leaves everything back in its place and always brings my dog safely back home after every walk. I really trust this guy & He’s always the first person I turn to when I need someone to walk my dog. Also, my dog is pretty big and really needs to get his exercise in, most dog walkers can barely get a mile done in a hour but Antonio pretty much always walks 2 miles with my dog which is AMAZING since my dog can become pretty destructive when he’s home alone & full of energy but luckily he comes home to sleep after his walk! About: Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing long walks or a senior pet requiring medication, I am comfortable, patient, and prepared. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience while you are away. I work from home, so your baby will get nonstop attention and cuddles! I do have a fenced in yard and do not require dogs to be crate trained. I always prioritize your dog’s specific needs—whether that’s gentle walks for seniors or active play for puppies. I work from home/have a flexible schedule, allowing me to be present with your dog/cat. I treat every pet like they are part of my family and always focus on both your pet’s mental and physical exercise. I ensure a safe environment by keeping fresh water available, maintaining a clean space, and checking that all gates are secure. I do allow your pet to sleep on my bed unless instructed otherwise. I send photo/video updates and follow your feeding/medication instructions as well as any others given. I do allow meet & greets at my house if preferred!

About: Since 2010 I learned to care for neighborhood pet friends so I could prove that I can have my own dog. From that I got my own baby boy and have spent 12 lovely years with him, but unfortunately he's out of state with his grandparents now. I miss him so much and would love to transfer all that energy to your loved one :) I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of free time to spend a couple hours with your baby and take them for a nice, long walk and play with them :) whatever they need, I'd love to do! I care about safety, privacy, cleanliness, and trust. I won't go anywhere/use anything unless asked (and I will check with you before doing anything we didn't talk about, such as if I were to bring treats, I'd make sure you are okay with what I give them before giving it to them). I'll probably be over-communicative, just so I'm thorough and so you know you can trust me with your baby.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets my entire life and began pet sitting for family, neighbors, and family friends as a teenager. During my first year of college, I started housesitting too, and I’ve since cared for many lovely kitties, bunnies, and dogs, as well as some guinea pigs and chickens. I’m especially good with cats, dogs, bunnies, and chickens, as I’ve had them all myself, but I feel comfortable taking care of most animals as long as I’m given instructions for those I’m not familiar with (for example, horses or reptiles). I’ve driven hours to get injured baby bunnies to wildlife rehab, and I’ve taken in stray cats to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and eventually adopted. Growing up, I never had fewer than three pets, and right now I have five. They keep my dad company… he claims he isn’t a cat person but still spends every night cuddling with our oldest cat, Magic. Caring for animals brings me a lot of joy. I’ve had people house sit and pet sit for me before, so I know it’s not always easy to relax when you’re wondering how things are going back home. I want every owner I sit for to feel completely at ease and to come home to happy pets and a well-cared-for home. I work remotely and have plenty of time to give pets attention and care. Since I work remotely, I’m lucky to have the flexibility to give pets love and attention while their families are away. Right now, my kitties and bunnies are staying with my dad to keep him company, so I’ve been missing having furry friends around. My name is Kacey, and I’m from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. I work remotely as a freelance editor and pet sitter. I have bachelor’s degrees in Writing and Psychology and plan to start graduate school next year to pursue my master’s in social work. I love traveling and experiencing new places, especially small towns and rural areas, but I haven’t spent much time in the city yet, and I’d really like to. I also really enjoy exploring new places and meeting new animals along the way. I always follow the instructions owners leave so pets stay on their usual routines and feel comfortable while their families are away. “Lisa is a very kind, gentle person who we hired to walk our dog, Rico, 5x (30 min ea walk) during our honeymoon. When we got the first couple of doggie report cards, Lisa had only walked rico 0.5ish miles. I was disappointed because I had hoped a 30 min walk would be closer to 1.5 miles. I spoke with Lisa about this and his next walks were 1 mile. It may be my own fault for not specifying that I wanted the emphasis of her 30min time blocks to be actually walking, vs playing with toys or brushing him, which are perfectly nice things to do but not for such a high energy dog like ours. Overall, our dog is alive and happy. Lisa fed our cat for free and helped coordinate visits/feedings with my family, who was also helping care for the pets. Some of the report cards showed that Lisa had spent 45 mins with Rico while only being payed for the 30, which I thought was very generous.”

From longs walks to outdoor play I am your girl! If your dog likes going on adventures and likes the car I am your girl. About: I grew up having dogs and cats and love them both. Taking care of them from kitten/puppyhood to the end of their life. This helped me to understand how their needs change with age. During my time living oversees I rescued several street animals and have brought 4 of them back here to the US. In caring for the animals of others while they are away I've learned how to gain their trust as the newcomer. Animals are a total joy. My primary secular work is from home and flexible, so I'm able to accommodate your schedule as needed. Pet care is scheduled regularly throughout my day and week. Since all pets and their owners are individuals I respect the routines already in place to the best of my ability. But I always spend time petting and playing with them rather than just doing the basics.
