I work part time as a CNA, I only work a few days a week so I am available to watch your pups! I work every other weekend so i’d be available for boarding on my off weekends. I have a large yard and my dog gets taken out on a leash, I have a puppy so I am familiar with crate training and house training.

About: Hi, I’m Gabi ! With over 20 years of professional pet care experience, I offer a level of expertise you won't find with standard gig-economy walkers. My background as a former veterinary technician, assistant dog trainer, and doggy daycare manager means your pet’s physical safety, health, and behavioral needs are always in expert hands.Unlike massive pack-walking services or crowded daycares, I specialize exclusively in dedicated, 1-on-1 care. I understand canine body language, know how to manage reactive or high-energy pups, and can seamlessly handle senior dogs or medical needs. I pride myself on being reliable, consistent, and an excellent communicator. Whether we are exploring Colt State Park or walking through your neighborhood, your dog will receive my full, undivided attention, and you will receive detailed, peace-of-mind updates every single time. Because pet care is my full-time career and job, your dog gets my absolute, undivided attention. I do not squeeze walks between office shifts or rush off to another job. My schedule is completely open and flexible, allowing me to commit fully to your pet's routine, arrive precisely on time, and never rush our sessions. When I am with your dog, they are my sole priority. Exact Routine Care: I strictly follow your feeding, walking, and house rules to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. Wellness Monitoring: I perform medical and behavioral checks during every visit to ensure your dog is healthy and safe. About: Hi! My name is Lily and I am a senior Providence College. I am from Portsmouth, Rhode Island and have grown up with a husky german shepard mix as well as a black lab terrier mix. They have been my best friends and I am passionate about animal care as I spent time following my dad around while he worked on a local farm! I love caring for dogs especially and would be more than happy to walk your animals! My dog Bella is currently 13 so I know the ins and outs of a senior dog, while having puppy experience because we got her at just seven weeks old! I’m available to walk or care for animals in between my classes, on my free days, as well as during the weekends at any point! I can easily follow instructions when it comes to dog sitting and have been responsible for caring for neighbors dogs for long periods of time around the clock! I’d love to care for your animal!

About: Since 2010 I learned to care for neighborhood pet friends so I could prove that I can have my own dog. From that I got my own baby boy and have spent 12 lovely years with him, but unfortunately he's out of state with his grandparents now. I miss him so much and would love to transfer all that energy to your loved one :) I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of free time to spend a couple hours with your baby and take them for a nice, long walk and play with them :) whatever they need, I'd love to do! I care about safety, privacy, cleanliness, and trust. I won't go anywhere/use anything unless asked (and I will check with you before doing anything we didn't talk about, such as if I were to bring treats, I'd make sure you are okay with what I give them before giving it to them). I'll probably be over-communicative, just so I'm thorough and so you know you can trust me with your baby.

Antonio is an amazing dog walker. He brings treats for my dog, Kapu, and makes sure Kapu takes water breaks during his walks. I’m almost never home when Antonio comes but I assure you that you can trust him 100% with any task. He knows where my house keys are & he leaves everything back in its place and always brings my dog safely back home after every walk. I really trust this guy & He’s always the first person I turn to when I need someone to walk my dog. Also, my dog is pretty big and really needs to get his exercise in, most dog walkers can barely get a mile done in a hour but Antonio pretty much always walks 2 miles with my dog which is AMAZING since my dog can become pretty destructive when he’s home alone & full of energy but luckily he comes home to sleep after his walk! I am looking forward to continuing to work with Antonio! Thanks for everything!

About: Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing long walks or a senior pet requiring medication, I am comfortable, patient, and prepared. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience while you are away. I work from home, so your baby will get nonstop attention and cuddles! I do have a fenced in yard and do not require dogs to be crate trained. I always prioritize your dog’s specific needs—whether that’s gentle walks for seniors or active play for puppies. I work from home/have a flexible schedule, allowing me to be present with your dog/cat. I treat every pet like they are part of my family and always focus on both your pet’s mental and physical exercise. I ensure a safe environment by keeping fresh water available, maintaining a clean space, and checking that all gates are secure. I do allow your pet to sleep on my bed unless instructed otherwise. I send photo/video updates and follow your feeding/medication instructions as well as any others given. I do allow meet & greets at my house if preferred!

Lisa is a very kind, gentle person who we hired to walk our dog, Rico, 5x (30 min ea walk) during our honeymoon. When we got the first couple of doggie report cards, Lisa had only walked rico 0.5ish miles. I was disappointed because I had hoped a 30 min walk would be closer to 1.5 miles. I spoke with Lisa about this and his next walks were 1 mile. It may be my own fault for not specifying that I wanted the emphasis of her 30min time blocks to be actually walking, vs playing with toys or brushing him, which are perfectly nice things to do but not for such a high energy dog like ours. Overall, our dog is alive and happy. Lisa fed our cat for free and helped coordinate visits/feedings with my family, who was also helping care for the pets. Some of the report cards showed that Lisa had spent 45 mins with Rico while only being payed for the 30, which I thought was very generous.

About: Hi , I’m a semi retired pet lover looking for some dogs to walk in the Tiverton area , I have several of my own pets and I’m very experienced in walking and caring for all sizes and shapes ;) I’ve been walking dogs for several years in the neighborhood and love the fresh air and exercise, I’m also available for stop in visits and can care for small animals such as rabbits , cats and chinchillas which I have a lot of experience with , as I have two of my own who will be 16 this year. Please consider me if you’re running late and you just need a quick pop over so your pets don’t have to wait and you don’t have to rush ;) I’m currently working part time and have plenty of free time during the day to help others exercise or drop in to check on their dogs . I have a fenced in yard and can crate or contain your dog if needed in my home to make sure it is safe and happy.

About: My animal care experience ranges from rats to horses! I ride horses and perform barn duties regularly and have cared for a variety of animals personally. I’ve also worked with hospice animals and have experience and knowledge in providing a wide variety of medications both orally and intravenous. I am also knowledgeable on canine and feline CPR. I work a full time job Monday through Friday. I am currently in office in Boston from 9AM-5PM. I can take long lunches as needed for walk breaks. I will be moving to a hybrid schedule at the end of May where I only have to be in office twice a week. My weekends are open! I currently live at home with my parent and am unable to board animas but am happy to care for your pet in your home! When staying in a client’s home I make sure to pack all my own food and essentials as to not disturb my client’s homes too much. I like to spend as much time as I can with your pet at the home so that way they feel most at ease!

About: One of the things which is most important is for your pet to be in the best care and to give you their owner more ease knowing your pet is in wonderful hands. Having grownup with different dogs and now owning a husky as well as a german shepherd of my own I have many years of experience with all different types of dogs.I know what it takes for big , small , energetic or relaxed pets. Whether your dog comes for a stay at my house or i stop by to check on them at home they will always feel loved and get alot of attention. When your dog stays at my house they will have plenty of time outside as my dogs cannot get enough or even out for a walk around the nearest park. If you have questions or concerns let me know ! Thank you for taking the time and i hope to hear from you soon. Working full time from home has given me the incredible ability to spend more time with my own dogs. With such a great work life balance I know have I wanted to be able to give other pet parents the peace of mind their dogs can also have plenty of love and attention while you are busy! I believe that our pets are part of our families this means when your dog is in my home they are treated as such. They will get plenty of attention and be able to play outdoors each day to run off some energy. In your own home I will ensure all of your rules you have set in place are followed as well as provide plenty of love and attention to your pet while you are off either at work, or running errands.

Total ROCKSTAR. Everyone with the Fantasy group was so grateful you were willing to take on all the dogs for the group. Yes Cleo was a bit sore from her morning chase thru the woods. So thankful the village took care to get her back home and your offer to help. You are a true treasure for Rover. Thank you.

Sincerely grateful to Madison and Joseph for their periodic help with our young, active standard poodle, Cain. It's so reassuring to know he'll be taken care of and given some "him" time on the occasions when we have to travel for the entire day. We love the photos and updates they send, too. Highly recommend!

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
