About: I've cared for a variety of animals since I was a child. Between personal pets and friends/neighbors I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, horses, reptiles, birds and fish. I'm very familiar with basic training, crate training and even comfortable giving medications. I've house sat/pet sat for many people and actually retain several sets of house keys, given to me by the owners, to a few people's houses for potential pet emergencies. I have also volunteered at a groomer, the pottery league shelter and have worked for a mom and pop pet store for over 15 years. After March 1st I will be leaving my regular job that I had for over 15 years at a pet store. My schedule will be wide open and I'm hoping with my pet sitting experience I can make that my full time job and have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. I'm not currently offering boarding at my home but will do everything in my power to make sure your fur baby isn't stressed while you are gone and their daily routine stays as normal as possible. My pets are allowed to sleep in the room with me but my dogs are also crate trained. My pups also love other dogs and would be thrilled to have play dates if that is something the owner is interested in.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets my entire life and began pet sitting for family, neighbors, and family friends as a teenager. During my first year of college, I started housesitting too, and I’ve since cared for many lovely kitties, bunnies, and dogs, as well as some guinea pigs and chickens. I’m especially good with cats, dogs, bunnies, and chickens, as I’ve had them all myself, but I feel comfortable taking care of most animals as long as I’m given instructions for those I’m not familiar with (for example, horses or reptiles). I’ve driven hours to get injured baby bunnies to wildlife rehab, and I’ve taken in stray cats to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and eventually adopted. Growing up, I never had fewer than three pets, and right now I have five. They keep my dad company… he claims he isn’t a cat person but still spends every night cuddling with our oldest cat, Magic. Caring for animals brings me a lot of joy. I’ve had people house sit and pet sit for me before, so I know it’s not always easy to relax when you’re wondering how things are going back home. I want every owner I sit for to feel completely at ease and to come home to happy pets and a well-cared-for home. I work remotely and have plenty of time to give pets attention and care. Since I work remotely, I’m lucky to have the flexibility to give pets love and attention while their families are away. Right now, my kitties and bunnies are staying with my dad to keep him company, so I’ve been missing having furry friends around. My name is Kacey, and I’m from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. I love traveling and experiencing new places, especially small towns and rural areas, but I haven’t spent much time in the city yet, and I’d really like to. I always follow the instructions owners leave so pets stay on their usual routines and feel comfortable while their families are away. About: Since I was 12 years old, I have been sitting for friends' and friends-of-friends' animals, in addition to having several pets of my own. I also have experience babysitting and housesitting, which have informed my work ethic and quality of care. I have experience raising kittens and puppies, as well as caring for adults and senior dogs and cats. About: I have been caring for dogs and other animals for most of my life. I started when I was 13 and have never stopped. I have a rescue of my own and view her as part of my family; I know exactly what it means to care for pets on a daily basis. I believe that trust between the owner, pet, and carer is so important, and will do my best to make you feel confident your furry family member is taken care of correctly and with lots of love. I also have training and confidence-building experience with all ages and personalities. I only use positive-based training methods. I am comfortable with reactive dogs! I am comfortable with fearful or nervous dogs. I can give medication or potty-train, no problem. I currently stay at home and would be solely dedicated to caring for your pups! I have no obligations that would interfere with any schedules or timely needs that you or your pet may have. I am very flexible! I have a very friendly dog at home, however, she does go to work with my partner some days. My dog is high-energy and goes for long walks with lots of sniffing! She also gets 1-2 hours of exercise in a large fenced-in yard of a family member every day. If your dog is high energy we can meet those needs! My Career also entails skills with animals care specifically for sick animals, not that I am veterinary doctor, meaning I help deal with acute health issues. Thanks for asking. My work has very set routine. Therefore when I start a project I know the days that I am available throughout its completion due to having to let processes develop on their own. So I am able to designate time for pet sitting in a routine manner and flexible manner. If I know my clients needs, I can adjust my work accordingly. Thanks for asking. My apartment is definitely animal friendly, with only on carpeted room. I will always notify the owner or any health issue, and with coordinate with the owner emergency protocols. Outside, there is a waterfront your pet can visit for walks, large yards that the pet can explore, and even an enclosed area where your pet can be unleashed so they can get a chance to roam free if ever necessary. As far as individual animal routines for food and walks are concerned, I would only take on a job if I was able to provide the animal with its precise schedule. About: I was born with a lab and a golden retriever, and have since lived with another golden, and two German shepherds, as well as two cats. I have helped train the shepherds from puppies and know how to handle large dogs in situations and walks. I now administer elder care and medication for my cat. I am not starting school until the end of August - from August 1-25th I am free for day of visits and multiple visits a day. I will change my schedule once the semester begins. I can easily crate dogs/cats, and take them for drives in my car to go on walks, to parks, or to get treats, or for any emergency necessary vet visits. I’m happy to bathe the animal if it gets dirty, or put on any necessary pet clothing (shoes, sweaters, etc). I am willing to wipe down paws and other parts before returning inside if the owner prefers.
