Hi! My name is Maddy, and my husband is Joseph! About us: We are a military family originally from a small town in Pennsylvania! We have previously been stationed in California and DC, and recently moved to Rhode Island. We’re so excited to be here and can’t wait to meet lots of new furry friends! 🐶💕 I started pet sitting through Rover while we were stationed in California and quickly fell in love with it! I love being able to give pets a safe, comfortable, and loving place to call home while their owners are away. I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds, and I have been pet sitting through Rover for 6 years! Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for so many amazing pups and truly treat every pet that stays with us like one of our own. 🥰 We have fur babies of our own, two pups Salem & Norman, and one cat Dexter! Salem & Norman are both 7 year-old Tri-Color Pembroke Welsh Corgis and are truly best friends! They are both very friendly and have experience being around dogs, cats, small animals, and people. 🐾 Our home is very pet friendly and relaxed! Pets are welcome on the furniture and are treated like part of the family while they’re here. We also have a fully fenced-in backyard where pups can run around, play, and enjoy plenty of outside time! 🐶 We do ask that all dogs staying in our home are potty trained and crate trained prior to their stay. For stays lasting 7+ days, we definitely recommend booking a trial night beforehand. This gives your pup the opportunity to get comfortable with us, our dogs, and our home and helps make sure we are a good fit before their longer stay! 😊 📸🐾 Lots of Photo Updates! I know how much I miss my own pups when I’m away, so I completely understand wanting to see what your fur baby is up to! 🥰 I love taking pictures and sending daily photo updates so you can see all the fun your pet is having while in my care! Whether they’re playing in the yard, snuggled up on the couch, hanging out with our pups, or just being their cute selves, you can expect plenty of pictures and updates throughout their stay! 🐶🐱💕 My goal is to make sure you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is happy, comfortable, and being loved like one of our own! 🐾❤️ 🚗🐾 Pick-Up & Drop-Off Available! Need a little extra help getting your pup to or from their stay? I’m happy to offer pet taxi pick-up and drop-off services for an additional fee! The cost will depend on the distance and the amount of time needed to complete the round trip each way. Just send me your location when booking and I can let you know what the additional cost would be! 😊 🐾 Breed Restrictions Unfortunately, our housing does have certain breed restrictions that we are required to follow. Because of this, I am unable to board Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Terriers or Staffordshire Bull Terriers), Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chows, or wolf hybrids in our home. While I may not be able to board these breeds, I would still love to help if I can! Drop-in visits at your home may be available, so please feel free to reach out and ask! 😊🐾

Once again, Madison and Joseph were awesome! They have taken care of my very sweet but very energetic 7 year old German Shepard multiple times and every time, I come home to a happy dog. They play ball with her, make sure she gets fed when needed and always has water. They will send you pictures of every visit and they even brought in a package for me. Thanks again!
I cannot say enough good things about Madi and Joe! They take exceptional care of our dog every time we book them. They even offer to do more check ins on our return day in case we run late. It has been such a load off my mind of who's caring for my dog since using them and I highly recommend them!

Madison and Joe were great care givers to our cat. They made sure he had an ample supply of food and water. Simon had a wonderful time playing and enjoying the fresh air outside. He’s very lovable and enjoyed their company while we were away.

Schedule
Evening drop off/pick up times typically work better for our schedules especially during the weekdays. Weekends are typically more flexible! ☺️ I work part time so I may be gone for a few hours a day during your pets stay. Due to this I am unable to provide constant care, it’s important that your pet is comfortable being left alone for a few hours at a time while we’re away! We do have cameras, including a Furbo pet cam to keep an eye on our furry friends and ensure their safety when we are apart!

I have a fenced in backyard to keep any pups secure during their visit. I typically like to crate pups overnight or when I’m not home to ensure they are safe when I’m not watching. We also have a Furbo pet camera to keep extra eyes on the pets at all times!

Salem & Norman enjoy walks around the neighborhood and trips to the dog park! They also love playing fetch and running around in the back yard! They love meeting new people and dogs!
