“Cheyauna exceeded expectations! She was so communicative, she handled my 5 yr old and my puppy with extreme care and specific to their needs, and she even went above and beyond to come before the trip to meet and play with them for comfort. Anything that we asked she did that and more. Now that we have used Cheyauna we honestly couldn’t imagine going with anyone else in the future. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with our 2 boisterous dogs! They were very happy to have her mid-day attention while we were out. She was always ontime and the photos she always sent left a smile on my face knowing they weren't home alone all day and stuck inside. We will definitely be calling her in the future. She is very trustworthy and kind. A real dog-lover, skilled at handling big, boisterous dogs.”

About: I’ve cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice and birds. Horses and dogs are my favorites! I’ve had a dog (or 3) of my own until recently when my 17 year old Yorkie passed away. I’d love to care for your pet now. I am out of the house for a stretch of 4-6 hours for 4-5 days a week, usually in the morning. But otherwise my schedule is fairly flexible. I can walk your dog or put them on a line. I do not have a fenced yard. In general, I don’t mind dogs on my furniture. I can crate them if needed.

“I was nervous leaving Willow with a stranger for the first time but the detailed updates and attentiveness Margaret gave me and Willow eased that. I would definitely recommend Margaret!”

About: I was the owner of a German Shepherd for two years and I’ve taken care of my friends pets. Both cats and dogs for many years. I prefer to visit the client's home because it reduces a lot of anxiety for the animal. Your pet being in their own space will guarantee they are more comfortable, and you will not have to pack food and toys. I like to keep my dog entertained, fed, and happy!! I take him on long walks in our neighborhood and provide him with lots of chew toys to keep him occupied. I generally try to observe other dog’s personality and approach them lots of love and encouragement
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and have taken care of both for other people! My experience includes drop in visits, week long overnights, and walks! I currently work full time so I’m primarily offering evening services and weekend services. I am also open to early mornings if asked in advance! While in your home, I will maintain your pet’s typical routine while also keeping the household clean. I follow any instructions/guidelines that are provided and make sure to give extra attention to pets while their owners are away!

I work morning shifts at Camp Bow Wow, so I get out at 1pm. I am looking to walk dogs after my shift as well as stop by for any feedings, tender love and care, or any help with medicine or boarding! I am handling dogs of all temperaments at Camp Bow Wow, I am thoroughly educated in body language and emotional responses in dogs. I also handle a lot of dogs who don’t like to be grabbed so I am confident in handling the nervous and snappy dogs as well.

“Rosie was absolutely amazing! It was like having a friend come over to hang out with the dogs. They took to her (as did us humans) right away. I knew from the minute I looked at her profile that she was the one for us. We’ve never used a sitter before but I was comfortable with Rosie before she ever arrived just from my conversations with her online. Please don’t hesitate to hire her, you will not be disappointed.”

About: I have cared for cats and all sizes of dogs since I was young. I’ve been my neighbors’ go to for pet sitting and I enjoy every opportunity I get to spend with a new furry friend! I am a full time college student, however, my schedule is extremely flexible. I will always make your fur babies a priority and I can’t wait to meet them! My mornings are completely free as are Fridays, and I have early afternoons so your fur baby will get lots of attention and playtime! :) I can easily crate dogs if needed. About: I love dogs and cats and I have pet sit for family and neighbors for over 10 years. I live in a house in a low-traffic residential neighborhood. Your pet will have access to the first and second floor of the house and all of the furniture, unless you request otherwise. I will spend all day with your pet and establish a care plan with you, including number of / length of walks. Your pet can sleep anywhere in the house. I do not currently have any pets and only take one client at a time. I work full time, so I’m mostly available Friday evening through Sunday evening. However, this may be flexible on a case-by-case basis. I will spend all day with your pet while they are staying with me. I do not have any pets, so your pet(s) will be the only ones in my house at that time. I have a front and back yard and low-traffic neighborhood great for walking.
About: I grew up having dogs and cats and love them both. Taking care of them from kitten/puppyhood to the end of their life. This helped me to understand how their needs change with age. During my time living oversees I rescued several street animals and have brought 4 of them back here to the US. In caring for the animals of others while they are away I've learned how to gain their trust as the newcomer. Animals are a total joy. My primary secular work is from home and flexible, so I'm able to accommodate your schedule as needed. Pet care is scheduled regularly throughout my day and week. Since all pets and their owners are individuals I respect the routines already in place to the best of my ability. But I always spend time petting and playing with them rather than just doing the basics.
“Shannon is the best! We requested 3 visits a day and she was there like clockwork. Our dog was missing us and not eating very well at first and she took the extra step in encouraging her and got her to eat. Our dog loves her!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 10. There is nothing more troubling than trying to enjoy a vacation without the surety that our furry friend was in good hands. This is a dog loving home experienced with dogs with specialized needs, requirements, and to give pet parents the peace of mind they deserve while away from home. I work entirely from home, and enjoy taking the dog(s) out on breaks, lunches, and after work for fresh air and sunshine. My gated community harbors a dog park and playing area, so your furry friend will be safe and welcomed with open arms. I have open availability to give your pet adequate care as I manage my own at home schedule. I have a 10 ft brick wall enclosing the backyard, and an enclosed patio. The community in which I stay is secured and gated at all times. I am not a fan of “caging” animals and allow animal freedom in my home (however upon owner recommendation I do have an XL cage which can house an animal upwards to 150lbs.
About: I have helped on farms and taken care of cats, dogs and many more animals over the years. Owned 4 dogs and a cat and a few reptiles. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
