About: I have taken care of and grown up around dogs and cats my entire life. Patience and learning the pets personality is, in my opinion, the most important aspect of pet care. I treat every pet like they are my own, with kindness and respect! I look forward to meeting your pet! I just moved back to Newport from NYC and am looking to fill my time. I am currently between jobs, so I thought what better time than now to focus on another passion of mine, pet care! I will treat your pet with care and comfort they require. I am very communicative and ensure updates to you, as I know putting your trust in someone to care for your pet can be stressful. I want to make any visits or walks with your pet as low stress as possible, for both you and your pet! Trust is very important with a pet and getting to know them is my main goal.

“Rosie was absolutely amazing! It was like having a friend come over to hang out with the dogs. They took to her (as did us humans) right away. I knew from the minute I looked at her profile that she was the one for us. We’ve never used a sitter before but I was comfortable with Rosie before she ever arrived just from my conversations with her online. Please don’t hesitate to hire her, you will not be disappointed.”

About: I've had dogs growing up my whole life, and adopted my very own six years ago! My partner and I just adopted another, so now we have two dogs, so I’m very used to walking multiple dogs at once. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs, as well as with dogs that pull excessively. I would love to take care of your dog as if they were my own. I’m extremely detail oriented and pay close attention to details. Please let me know anything and everything I need to know about your pet! I’m currently working part time remotely as we transition to our new home, so I’m flexible most days of the week, and can accommodate most needs. I would prefer to take care of pets in clients homes, with the occasional possibility of caring for them in my home depending on if they get along with my dogs.
“This was our second time working with Amber. She is always easy to communicate with and we greatly appreciate the photo updates she sends. We would definitely recommend her!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I bring both reliability and genuine care to every pet I work with. I have experience caring for dogs and cats, and I’m especially comfortable with larger breeds and pets with unique personalities. I have my own 8-year-old chow-shepherd mix, so daily long walks, patience, and attentive care are already a huge part of my routine. I also have experience caring for senior pets and understand the importance of slower pacing, medication routines, mobility awareness, and extra comfort and patience. Whether your pet loves active walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply calm companionship, I tailor my care to their individual needs and personality. I’m dependable, observant, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine since I already spend a lot of time walking and caring for my own dog every day. I genuinely enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and giving animals attention and care, so incorporating pet care into my weekly schedule is something I truly look forward to. I adapt my care to each pet’s individual routine and needs to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Whether that means long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, giving medicine, potty breaks, check-ins, cuddle time, or simply providing calm companionship, I’m happy to do it all! I know how important consistency is for pets, so I always aim to follow the owner’s instructions closely while giving every animal plenty of attention, patience, and care.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, you name it! My smallest dog ever was a chihuahua and my largest is a cane corso. My home was also a foster home and we had many litters of puppies and kittens come through on their way to their forever families! I work full time so I am primarily available on weekends, but I do work from home once a week if you need a last minute walk or check in on a pet! I am happy to take your pet outside, feed them, play with them, go for a walk or to get some exercise! I am unable to take them in my home but happy to work with you to fit you and your pet’s needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
