About: I’ve pet sit for a lot of my friends, both dogs and cats. I also have experience with rabbits. I really enjoy being around animals, and do my best to provide the care they deserve where I can. My timing for the most part is pretty flexible at the moment, so I can move things around on my calendar for scheduling walks or check-ins I follow instructions given, and spend time with them. I am also available for walks, so they can get some fresh air and exercise if needed as well.

About: I currently work at the Newport Navy Base at All Paws On Deck doggie day care. I have been there for about a year and am currently one of the lead staff members there taking care of the dogs. I have learned so much on dog behavior and safety. Since working there it has ignited an interest to become a dog trainer. The joy that dogs bring to my life has been so rewarding and I love every minute of my job and being with all my furry friends. I have grown up with always having a dog in my life and had parents that instilled responsibility that came along with it. I have watched and been responsible for friends and neighbors dogs when a helping hand is needed. My up bringing with always having a dog was that they are not just an animal but another member of the family and have to be treated as such. I have been very lucky to have had grown up with amazing dogs. I have rescued 2 beautiful greyhounds that were former racers in Florida. This particular breed is my passion due to the challenges it gives to teach them how to transition from the track to home life. This breed typically has never been inside a home and needs to be taught everything! Stairs, Windows, glass sliding doors, furniture, a yard, trust, and having her own toys and bed. This has taught me so much on how to relate to the dog and learn how they see life. My life currently when im not working is spending time with my family and enjoying the "island life" in Portsmouth. It is my husband and I along with our two boys and Anita (my greyhound). I work part time at the doggie day care. My availability time is flexible. I work half days so im available in the morning or afternoon depending on the day. I will respect the clients home and their pets boundaries and needs. I see it as entering their safe space and would not want them to feel that I am there to change that or threaten that.

I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience while you are away. I work from home, so your baby will get nonstop attention and cuddles! I do have a fenced in yard and do not require dogs to be crate trained. I always prioritize your dog’s specific needs—whether that’s gentle walks for seniors or active play for puppies. I work from home/have a flexible schedule, allowing me to be present with your dog/cat. I treat every pet like they are part of my family and always focus on both your pet’s mental and physical exercise. I ensure a safe environment by keeping fresh water available, maintaining a clean space, and checking that all gates are secure. I do allow your pet to sleep on my bed unless instructed otherwise. I send photo/video updates and follow your feeding/medication instructions as well as any others given. I do allow meet & greets at my house if preferred!

I work a couple of days a week so I have plenty of time to interact with your doggies. I can be available on short notice I do not have a fenced yard so I will always use a leash for walks or potty breaks. Your animals will always be supervised

About: I have a dog of my own at home and also lived with a dog in my college apartment! I have no issues playing with energetic dogs or hanging out and chilling too! I have worked extensively with my friend who is in vet school with her cats and her foster dogs and feel comfortable in many situations. I will spoil your babies rotten!! I attend RWU Law School during the week but have light days Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and can come to relieve pets or hang out for a little! I have plenty of homework to do and can do that while snuggling with your pet! I am free most weekends as well. I work very hard to create a good relationship with the family of the dog as well as the dog themselves. Everything is up to the family and whatever they are comfortable with. I am comfortable with staying over, bringing the dog out for walks or a drive or coming over to feed the dog and give them lots of love!

My Career also entails skills with animals care specifically for sick animals, not that I am veterinary doctor, meaning I help deal with acute health issues. Thanks for asking. My work has very set routine. Therefore when I start a project I know the days that I am available throughout its completion due to having to let processes develop on their own. So I am able to designate time for pet sitting in a routine manner and flexible manner. If I know my clients needs, I can adjust my work accordingly. Thanks for asking. My apartment is definitely animal friendly, with only on carpeted room. I will always notify the owner or any health issue, and with coordinate with the owner emergency protocols. Outside, there is a waterfront your pet can visit for walks, large yards that the pet can explore, and even an enclosed area where your pet can be unleashed so they can get a chance to roam free if ever necessary. As far as individual animal routines for food and walks are concerned, I would only take on a job if I was able to provide the animal with its precise schedule.
