“Kathy did a wonderful job looking after our Ollie (9 month old American Cocker Spaniel). She is very kind and patient! We enjoyed receiving photos of their visit and Ollie was a happy boy.”

About: New to here, but a lifelong dog person! I had my family dog for 16.5 years starting at 12 years old. 10 years ago I got my first big pup who did agility classes in his prime so I have experience with large, high-energy dogs. My 3rd adoptee is one of the large lazy ones, needing motivation to get his steps in! Currently living with my 9 year old medium pup who absolutely has some sass. I’m used to handling strong pullers, playful chaos, and dogs that like to test boundaries. I have experience helping friends and family with a variety of pet needs over the years. I’ll match your dog’s energy while keeping things safe, structured, and fun! I work full time during the week and have a pup of my own I care for. I have availability on weekends! Happy to spend time during my weekend to make sure yours goes off without a hitch! I am excellent at caring for your pet exactly how you would! I thrive on detailed instructions if you're a helicopter pet parent (like me!) or I can go with the flow if you're chill and confident with your furry family. Leashes, closed doors and gates, and lots of love will be priorities.

I am currently home full time and am avalible for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am extremely flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies on walks, to dog parks or anything you do with them to make them feel comfortable. I am so excited to meet you and your pets! When caring for pets in a client's home, I am flexible, calm and cultivate a structured environment. “She was amazing and very communicative and my cat Nugget loved her especially when she picked him up and hug him he loved it, she did everything I asked I’ll definitely be calling her again for Nugget.”

“Sam was incredible. What was supposed to be a simple booking turned into my cat getting sick three days before my trip and needing medicine twice a day the entire time I was gone. Sam helped me feel at ease like my cats were in good hands the whole time, and was super communicative with everything. I will absolutely be booking with her again!”

I look forward to hearing from you! I’m available early morning and late afternoon / evening and weekends for dog walking and boarding. “Liana was so kind to come and help with our buddy. She showed up right on time and spent ample amount of time with him while we were out. I have no reservations about booking her again”

“We can’t say enough wonderful things about our favorite sitter! Brady absolutely adores Hailey, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such loving, attentive hands. She treats him like family—always sending thoughtful updates, adorable photos, and making sure he’s happy, safe, and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter who goes above and beyond!”

“Sarah is everything I could ask for in a pet sitter. She is caring, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and communicative. I don’t worry about my dogs when I know she’s watching them. She takes wonderful care of Dixie and Jedi!”
About: I've always had dog(s) and cat(s) around me since I was a little girl. I've seen all types of dogs and cats, hyper cats, lazy dogs, and both that think that they're just another human on the couch. In my experience in dealing with all these personalities I've noticed one trait that is essential in animal -care, patience. Patience is something that is key when dealing with any animal or even any person. A little bit about me... I just moved to North Carolina with my family. I am eager to start college again, along with pet sitting and house cleaning. I enjoy spending time with my four cats in my down time. Animals are my favorite type of people to be around. I say they are people because they are some of the most compassionate beings on earth. I currently go to school online. So, I will have ample amount of time for your fur baby. I can easily adapt to their schedule and needs. I have an acre of land that is not currently fenced. My home consists of four cats, two sons, myself and my husband. I can happily provide drop-in care in the evenings unless I have daytime availability open in my schedule. On the weekends I have more daytime availability. Caring for your cat or dog is something I look forward to. I love when you are able to provide ample amount of information and communication. And no, I don’t think you’re being crazy about the furry member of your family. 😊

About: I have taken care of pets starting at the age of 9 when my parents got me my first puppy. I had raised and trained him on my own, had responsibility of restocking and refilling food and water, as well as grooming, bathing, and bathroom use. Flash forward to when it came to my own dogs senior years, I had learned to understand the extra care that comes along with that. At the age of 13 I had started pet sitting for family and friends. Whether it be walking next door to my neighbors, taking care of a pet in my home, or having my mom drive me someone’s household, I’ve always enjoyed taking care of and playing with pets. At the age of 16 when I had gotten my license, I had started offering to do overnights at peoples homes for their pets and had driven myself to homes multiple times in a day to care for them. I think it’s important to be present, playful, and all around loving to each and every pet. I love to meet new pets and prioritize creating comfort between the animal and I. I’m currently working full time but have weekday evenings open and weekends open!! I have pets myself as home and pet care fits into my routine very naturally. Thankfully I have family to help out with my pets when I’m not there and can give full care to other pets when needed! I have grown up having dogs my entire life (Also having chickens, geese, and bunnies). Being a pet owner gives perspective in terms of creating a sound environment. When I go on vacation or need someone to care for my animals, I look for qualities that many others would. Trust, responsibility, and genuine care. When roles reverse, I behold these qualities to ensure that whoever I am caring for receives this level of comfort from these qualities.
About: I’ve been around pets since childhood - having 2 cats, hamsters, birds and fish. I am a dog mom to a 15 year old beagle and 12 year old pittie mix both of who I adopted when they were 3 years and the other 9 months old. I walked and was also a house visitor for neighbors dogs all throughout middle school. Wherever I was there was a high possibility I was hanging out with someone’s dog. I work a Monday to Friday position but would love to spend my off hours from the office position doing house check ins and or walks for your pets. I would be able to do house check ins for bathroom breaks-feeding-loving attention-playtime as well as bringing them on walks. I am able to handle big or small & high or low energy pets.
“I was worried about leaving my cat for two weeks, especially because he needs more attention than the average cat. Caroline took such good care of him and spent time with him on each of her visits. I’m sure he appreciated the extra attention. :) It was such a relief to have her looking out for him and the house. I really can’t thank her enough and I plan to hire her for future visits. Highly recommend!”

“Emma was super friendly and communicative. We unfortunately had to cancel our rover visit last minute though she made the effort to come over ahead of time to meet our cat and take notes on what she needed. We definitely look forward to utilizing her services in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Swansea
We absolutely loved Amanda! She was super responsive and did a great job with our babies. She did a meet and greet to go over everything and asked very appropriate questions. She had to administer pills to one of our dogs and followed the instructions perfectly. The dogs took to her immediately. We will definitely book her again for our next trip.

Cassidy was great taking care of our little boy rook. You got constant updates with photos and he appeared to be having time of his life playing ball outside like we usually do. She gave us updates on everything you did by a phone message along with all the pictures and the videos that she sent. We had never left a little boy alone before because he always came with us and we were always concerned about leaving him with somebody else without us. Definitely have good faith in Rover right now and will you be using them again. Have another upcoming trip planned and you should be able to stay at our house taking care of rook for in about 2 to 3 days.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Swansea with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
