“Tara was great! She took Buddy on a walk right away to ease his separation anxiety! She said he adjusted well settling in for the night. She even sent us a picture! Pick up was a breeze. Tara and Buddy met us outside and we were on the road in no time heading home. I’d recommend her service anytime!”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life, and my pets truly are part of my family. Because of that, friends and family have trusted me with their pets for many years, knowing they’ll be cared for with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I have two very friendly dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Shih Tzu mix) with sweet temperaments who get along well with other dogs and cats. I also have two children who share my love for animals and have been taught from a young age to treat all pets with respect, gentleness, and kindness. Safety is my top priority — for my family and for yours. That’s why I require a meet-and-greet at my home before any booking to ensure everyone is comfortable and that our pets are a good fit. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, but I remember how hard it was when I worked outside the home and hated leaving my dogs alone for long periods of time. I’d love to help other pet parents by providing a safe, loving environment where their dogs are cared for, not just watched. Your pet will be treated like one of my own while they’re here. I’m home most of the day and able to provide plenty of attention and care for my own pets and yours. I do run errands and school pickups, so I may be in and out for short periods, but I never leave dogs alone for long stretches. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s specific routine and needs in detail. I let dogs out for bathroom breaks frequently, and I’m always outside supervising when they’re in our fully fenced yard. I have a fenced in yard & two friendly dogs to keep yours company. My home is cozy for your dog to relax and play in.
“Paige and her children were absolutely lovely and took terrific care of my timid little rescue dog Maisie. They have a great big fenced-in back yard and three friendly, adorable smallish dogs so Maisie was happy and entertained. Paige's young children are sensitive and kind, and Maisie--who is generally afraid of children--really took to them because they were patient and caring. Paige is a wonderful dog sitter--responsive, flexible and communicative. We were in town for sailboat racing and our hours changed several times and Paige was always flexible and understanding about our needs. She sent photos and sweet, reassuring updates as well which meant a lot to me. I would use Paige and her family again for Maisie in a heartbeat!”

About: I’m not just a dog sitter—I’m a partner in your dog’s happiness. With the experience of training and graduating three service dogs, I bring patience, compassion, and structure to every pup I care for. Your dog isn’t just another appointment on my calendar—they’re family, and I treat them that way. From walks to training to daily love, I help dogs feel safe, confident, and understood. Caring for dogs isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time commitment. As a business owner, I have the freedom and flexibility to dedicate my days to providing top-quality care for dogs. That means your dog isn’t squeezed into a busy schedule—they get my full attention, patience, and time. This isn’t just a job, it’s my life’s passion, and it shows in the way I care for every pup as if they were my own.” Full-Time Care, Full-Time Love—Because Dogs Deserve More Than a Side Gig.” Every dog in my care gets more than the basics—they get a home. At my single-family house, dogs enjoy a safe, spacious fenced-in yard where they can run, play, and explore freely. Inside, they’re treated like part of the family, with comfort, structure, and plenty of attention. From walks and playtime to training reinforcement and quiet downtime, I tailor the experience to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your pup loves fetch, belly rubs, or simply lounging in the sun, I make sure they feel secure, happy, and cared for—just like they would at home.”

“Briana is a great caregiver, my dog Mojo always looks like he’s having fun and comfortable. She’s wonderful to work with, I’m glad she’s part of Mojo’s caregiving team!”

About: I've volunteered at shelters and sanctuaries, worked at dog salon and groomers, have owned, fostered and sat for dogs my entire life. They complete me. I'm currently available during most daytime hours and will work with you to accommodate your schedule with your dog's needs. Available on most weekends also. “Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

“Bezaleel did great with my 2 boys. I was traveling from out of town for a funeral and I didn’t want to leave them alone in an unfamiliar home and needed someone to sit them while I was at the wake and the funeral (odd and non-specific hours). Bezaleel was amazing and flexible with me and that was so appreciated (especially since I forgot their bag of treats both days!!)”

“Very welcoming host, nice big backyard, kept us updated with numerous photos. Wasn't sure our dog would line being around other dogs but it worked out well.”

“Veru is an excellent sitter , she is accommodating to any needs for your pet . She took good care of my boy. She follows instructions and really cares like her own. She would post pictures that were very nice and sweet. She took my boy for walks , which he enjoyed. I had my boy for two days of day care , he was excited to go over the second day. He had developed a bond , that I could see that he missed her when we said our byes for the stay. You will feel the same with your pet if you use her service that I highly recommend. Thank you Veru, you were wonderful sitter .”

About: I am a dog lover and dogs have always been a special part of my life. Socialization is an important part of raising a dog so they develop emotional and behavioral skills that make them confident, well-adjusted and safe adapting to different environments. I have two loving dogs that are ready to play! I am currently working from home and available to care for your pup during the day along with my own. I maintain a schedule that enables frequent outdoor breaks and sometimes work outside for extra play time! I am also available for overnight boarding . I live on a double cul-de-sac in a quiet, private dog-friendly neighborhood and have a large yard with plenty of room to play. My neighborhood is low-traffic which makes taking dog walks easy and stress-free. I use an Invisible Fence with my two dogs and also have pet stakes and tie-out cables for supervised play.
“ANELY is an AMAZING sitter!!!! She kept me in the loop with Henny’s time with her. I received pictures and updates on how she was doing! Henny’s behavior when I picked her up both days can tell me she had a good time and the plus side she was able to mingle with her son and OTHER PUPS!!!! Thank you a lot for taking care of my baby!!!”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
About: I love your pup like my own. I've been house and dog sitting with Rover since 2016. I love to be outside, hike and run so if you have an energetic dog, we'll be a good fit. I can also work on any training as you have need. I also work from home so I can be flexible and available for your buddy. I look forward to meeting you! Although I work full-time, I am able to be flexible about where I work and commit to drop-ins or walks around my work schedule (mornings/lunch breaks/evenings). I ensure that your pet is kept safe and healthy from proper leashing to open doors to toxic plants and breakable items. Dogs who stay with me will be kept in sight at all times.
“You can tell immediately that Malerie really cares. As soon as I booked Rory’s stay, she reached out to set up a time to talk about Rory, and go over anything important for her to know. Malerie also shared anything she thought would be useful for me to know about her home, doggie, and environs. Really reassuring. Upon meeting her, I was struck by both her kindness and her generosity. Rory was well-cared for and I was able to leave knowing she was in excellent hands!”
