About: I’m not just a dog sitter—I’m a partner in your dog’s happiness. With the experience of training and graduating three service dogs, I bring patience, compassion, and structure to every pup I care for. Your dog isn’t just another appointment on my calendar—they’re family, and I treat them that way. From walks to training to daily love, I help dogs feel safe, confident, and understood. Caring for dogs isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time commitment. As a business owner, I have the freedom and flexibility to dedicate my days to providing top-quality care for dogs. That means your dog isn’t squeezed into a busy schedule—they get my full attention, patience, and time. This isn’t just a job, it’s my life’s passion, and it shows in the way I care for every pup as if they were my own.” Full-Time Care, Full-Time Love—Because Dogs Deserve More Than a Side Gig.” Every dog in my care gets more than the basics—they get a home. At my single-family house, dogs enjoy a safe, spacious fenced-in yard where they can run, play, and explore freely. Inside, they’re treated like part of the family, with comfort, structure, and plenty of attention. From walks and playtime to training reinforcement and quiet downtime, I tailor the experience to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your pup loves fetch, belly rubs, or simply lounging in the sun, I make sure they feel secure, happy, and cared for—just like they would at home.”
“Carrie was wonderful. My goldendoodle puppy is a tired girl after her stay ( a tired puppy is a happy puppy) There was a nice large yard for her to run around. Carrie was excellent!”

“Leah has a big heart and lovingly cared for our puppy Willow during her first visit. She went out of our way to make us comfortable leaving her and paid close attention to her routine and specific needs. Willow had a happy visit. A big thanks to Leah!”

About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs, from growing up with them as a child to raising them as an adult. I currently own a puppy and love being hands-on with daily walks, training, and playtime. With years of experience providing consistent care, attention, and affection, I understand the importance of keeping pets happy, healthy, and safe. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available on weekends for walks, playtime, and pet sitting. During the week, I can also stop by for quick potty breaks, feeding, or check-ins to make sure your pup is comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’m lucky to have a fenced-in dog park right in my neighborhood, which gives pups a safe space to play, exercise, and socialize. You can trust that your dog will always be cared for in a secure and loving environment.

“Tara was great! She took Buddy on a walk right away to ease his separation anxiety! She said he adjusted well settling in for the night. She even sent us a picture! Pick up was a breeze. Tara and Buddy met us outside and we were on the road in no time heading home. I’d recommend her service anytime!”

“Nicole & Ryan are absolutely amazing!! They are responsive, kind, and accommodating. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in their care and cannot recommend them enough. Will definitely be reaching out again and we know our dog is just as excited as we are to have found a good match!”

About: I got my first dog in 1982. My first cat in 2021. I learned to walk, play with, feed and love my dog, Cara. Then in 1997 another came into my life and again I cared for her basic needs but next I learned to watch and listen to this one... and trained her in tricks and solid obedience. Next I started house sitting for sick old dog's who needed 24/7 attention. This was for Maureen Martin’s dog Higgins and her cat, Rio, in San Diego for 1999 - 2000. Later I found myself caring for so many people's dogs and cats, the last being in Westchester New York 2 weeks ago for Eliza, a black lab belonging to Mr and Mrs Brian S. Also at home I adopted Macy who has cancer as a kitten. She was treated and she is 3 years in remission now bc I played with her and brushed her and gently got her eating again through the chemo program. My reputation grew as a good cat babysitter and dog walker and caregiver. I am gentle, patient, firm and have strong communication with dogs and I speak the language of cats. I also am in very good athletic condition so I can offer your dog and cat a strong enough dose of energy and fun that your dog's anxiety about you not being there can subside. Your cats and dogs miss you when you leave them for work and important events. But I will fill in the gaps so they feel a warm friend is looking after them until you return home. I care for my own cat. Doing the litter daily and feeding her in the morning and evening with some in the middle of the day. She has cozy places to sleep and toys to play with to stay active. I interact with her and brush her to keep her in an overall healthy and good mental state. Playtime is a real winner with most pets. Those who are disabled or needing a different kind of care will get warmth and gentility from Me. If they need meds, I will do it in a caring way. If they need to be vigorous and enjoy companionship time in your absence, I am there to be their protector, buddy and server.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life. That’s over 20 years of personal, hands-on experience! I’ve cared for puppies, small dogs, big dogs, calm dogs, hyper dogs - you name it. My responsibilities include daily walks, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after them, and most importantly, giving them all the love and attention. I am comfortable sticking to a routine and keeping all dogs happy and safe! I have a 7 year old dog who I treat like my own baby. Friends and family know me as the 30 year old who’s obsessed with her dog! Let my dog and your dog be the best of friends in our FENCED-IN yard! I am a dog-loving teacher! I work 1 minute down the road so I am able to check on dogs for 30 minutes during my lunch. My schedule is consistent. I wake up every morning with my husband to give our dog his morning routine. I am able to go on walks multiple times in the afternoon. I can also keep up with night time routines! We have a FENCED-IN yard where your dog and my dog can become the best of friends! I have two separate rooms if your dogs likes to have alone time after a day of play. I am also flexible to do in-home care, if that is your preference.

“Erin was great. She was responsive, flexible, welcoming to our Dotty. She understood the quirks of our dog’s breeds and seemed very capable. Sent nice pics, too. I would definitely recommend her.”
About: I grew up with cats and dogs. I am very intuitive with nature, pets, and children. I specialize in giving loving, attentive care to any and all living beings. I work part time and get my shifts weekly. My availability will revolve around my other work schedule. I am easily reachable via text or call. I live in a pet-friendly house. I live right on the Sakonnet River with easy access to long walks and greenery. I love being active and outside but also inside and cuddling up with a fluffy friend.
About: I’ve had 3 dogs my entire life. Pitbull, Shih Tzu and a chihuahua. Currently the financial responsibility of a pet is too great but I love their companionship. I’m kind, patient and loving. I’m working remotely currently, so I’ll be home all day every day and will be able to pet sit. I’m looking for temporary situations at this time with the possibility of something long term to help out for your vacations! I have a large non fenced in yard. And live in a luxury, pet friendly condo with a dog park. I have 2 boys who also love pets who would absolutely love to cuddle and give attention if your baby decides it’s ok!
“Paige was wonderful with my pup, Lulu! Paige is very responsive, responsible and organized, and takes very good care of her charges. Paige's young sons were awesome with Lulu, and her own dogs very friendly and patient with her. Highly recommend Paige!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love having them around. I do tend to spoil them, but I always follow the instructions you, the parent, provide. I have had senior dogs and puppies and always give them the extra care they need. We are a retired couple and always enjoy having a dog around us. We have plenty of time to play with pups, and give them lots of love. We have a fenced in backyard to play in, comfortable beds to sleep in. We won’t be taken in other family's dogs while yours is here.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fall River
You can tell immediately that Malerie really cares. As soon as I booked Rory’s stay, she reached out to set up a time to talk about Rory, and go over anything important for her to know. Malerie also shared anything she thought would be useful for me to know about her home, doggie, and environs. Really reassuring. Upon meeting her, I was struck by both her kindness and her generosity. Rory was well-cared for and I was able to leave knowing she was in excellent hands!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
