“We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our dog, Pippa, than Tara! She watched Pippa for 10 days and treated her like part of the family. Tara was reliable, thoughtful, and clearly loves animals — Pippa absolutely adored her. We got regular updates and photos that showed just how happy and comfortable Pippa was. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Can’t say enough great things about these guys. All the reviews are correct! Chris and Whitney are genuine, caring, and great communicators. And most importantly, sincere dog lovers. They sent daily updates on our 5 days away from our pup. They went above and beyond to help figure out drop off and pick up arrangements. And they just made the whole process of going away and trusting someone else to watch your fur baby a very happy and comfortable experience. Our pup had a blast, and she is an anxious rescue. She settled right in and was welcomed warmly. From the meet and greet until the time we got her back, you could just tell these guys were genuinely caring and loving humans. And it showed in their care and services. HIGHLY recommend Chris and Whitney. Amazing services, and they made our time away without our pup a very eased and comfortable experience. Thanks guys!!!”

About: I’ve loved cats since I was young; I prefer their company and personality over most humans! In terms of my experience, I’ve been taking care of cats (my own and others) for over ten years. My older cat who passed away a few years ago (Jasmine), lived to be 18. She’s pictured above with me (often grumpy and very blind). As a senior cat, she required special care and treatment, which included administering medication and catering to her health issues. Everywhere I go, a cat somehow always finds me! In a neighborhood in my college town, I have befriended all six of the outdoor cats. I also volunteer at an animal rescue in Rhode Island, and I really enjoy keeping the kitties company.

About: I grew up with 2 cats who had multiple litters throughout my childhood. I’ve learned how to take care of kittens as well as senior cats. I’m comfortable with helping cleaning out the litter box as well as needed medications.

I pride myself on being reliable, consistent, and an excellent communicator. Whether we are exploring Colt State Park or walking through your neighborhood, your dog will receive my full, undivided attention, and you will receive detailed, peace-of-mind updates every single time. Because pet care is my full-time career and job, your dog gets my absolute, undivided attention. I do not squeeze walks between office shifts or rush off to another job. My schedule is completely open and flexible, allowing me to commit fully to your pet's routine, arrive precisely on time, and never rush our sessions. When I am with your dog, they are my sole priority. Exact Routine Care: I strictly follow your feeding, walking, and house rules to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. “**Review for Madison:** I recently had the pleasure of using Madison's services, and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the very beginning, Madison demonstrated professionalism and genuine care for my pet. Here are a few highlights from my experience: 1. **Communication**: Madison was prompt and clear in all communications. She provided regular updates with photos and which gave me peace of mind while I was away. 2. **Care and Attention**: Madison took the time to understand my pets' routines and preferences. She handled my cat with care and patience, making sure they were happy and comfortable.”

About: As a dog owner for 15 years, I have always loved being around any and all animals. Happy to help reinforce training on walks or at home visits. I have pet sit before for multiple animals at a time, and can be flexible based on your needs! Truly just happy to spend time with your pet and help them. Looking forward to working together! I currently work full-time, however I work from home some days. Since I am home more than anticipated, I am looking to fill that time with furry friends. Though I do work full-time, I am flexible in the early mornings and evenings, and can be available on weekends. I grew up around animals, and helped my family take care of our Jack Russell Terrier as he grew to 15 years old. This involved carrying him up and down stairs, and occasionally providing medication. I currently have a dog of my own, an almost 2 year old Jack Russell mix, so I am very familiar with high energy dogs and am eager to provide physical and mental stimulation to help make your dog happy!

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have volunteered at shelters since I was young. I regularly foster dogs through Paws New England, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds, including those adjusting to new environments. I also have hands-on experience with anxiety and fear-based reactivity through my own dog, which has taught me patience, structure, and how to effectively read canine body language. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’ve spent years learning and applying positive reinforcement training methods and behavior management techniques. I’ve been vegan for decades and protecting animals and ensuring their safety and comfort is something I take seriously in every aspect of my life. I treat every dog in my care with the same attention, compassion, and respect as my own. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I can accommodate different energy levels, whether your pup prefers relaxing and napping much of the day at home or getting out more frequently for exercise or enrichment. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood that’s great for walks, with nearby trails and beach access for enrichment (if appropriate for your dog). I’m very mindful of each dog’s needs and temperament, especially those who may be anxious or adjusting. In my home, dogs are kept separate from my senior dog to ensure a calm, low-stress environment for everyone. I take introductions, boundaries, and routines seriously and always prioritize a safe, structured, and positive experience.
“I’m very grateful to Hanna & Roy.✨ Besides being such lovely people, I truly appreciate them for taking care of my puppy🐶 From the very first moment, they showed so much love and dedication. It was clear that they genuinely cared about Haru’s well-being: they gave him affection, were attentive to him at all times, and played with him a lot. It was such a relief knowing he was in such good.”

“So thrilled to have Ella back walking our girl after a scheduling change. She is always prompt, thorough and an excellent communicator, plus our girl adores her. Cannot recommend Ella enough!”

“Audrey was great right from the meet and greet and on! Millie, who is usually very timid, warmed up to her in seconds. Audrey was a great support walking my dog while a family member who can no longer walk her far watched her. She was extremely punctual and great with communicating all aspects of their walks. Highly recommend.”

“Alexandria is great with my dog, Teddy. She walked him often this summer and was flexible with my changing work schedule. The neighbor even told me that he was much better behaved with her than with me. She was really good about listening to him when he was nervous or too hot and taking him back home to be comfortable.”

About: Hi my name is Bella. I've had various pet sitting jobs in Rhode Island. I've had a dog for the past 6 years and am usually responsible for taking care of him, so I've gained experience through doing so. I taught my dog a majority of his tricks and potty trained my dog, so I have some experience in that. I am a recent graduate from Richmond and just moved to Brookline. I have a pretty flexible schedule right now as I’m taking time off of work to study for the GRE. I'm also available any time on the weekends. I'm more than happy to run with your dog, or take him to the park if your dog needs more activity throughout the day than a walk will provide. I'm excited to work with you and your dog! Can work with you and your dog’s needs I am happy to accommodate to your needs and make adjustments to the living area that would best suit your needs. Safety is the first priority and want to make your dog feel comfortable.

About: Hi! I’m Natalia, a law student spending the summer in San Antonio before heading back to Rhode Island for my final year of law school. I’m looking to earn a little extra money this summer while doing something I genuinely enjoy—spending time with dogs! I’ve always been a dog lover and have a dachshund named Cuca back at my family home in Laredo. Anyone who knows me knows I’m constantly talking about her. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and caring to look after your pets when you can’t be there. I’m also a very active person and love going on walks as part of my daily routine, so I’m happy to give your dog the exercise, attention, and enrichment they need. Whether your pup enjoys a quick neighborhood stroll or a longer walk, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. For experience, I recently completed a three-week house and dog-sitting job caring for two dogs, which included daily walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and keeping them on their normal routine while their owner was away. I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a flexible summer schedule and will treat your dog like they’re one of my own. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your I'm home for the summer from school and have pretty open availability, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m flexible throughout the day and can easily adjust to meet the needs of different pets and schedules—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy, so it fits naturally into my routine this summer. I only provide care in the client’s home, which I find helps pets feel more comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. When I’m in someone’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, playtime preferences, and any special needs or medications. I make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and affection, and I always do my best to keep them happy and stress-free while their owners are away. Communication is important to me, so I’m happy to send updates and photos during visits as well!
About: I have always grown up living with dogs. Personally I had 4 little dogs, 2 Bichon's and 2 Toy Poodle's in my own house, but I always was the person in the family to "babysit" the other dogs in the family. I'd feed, bathe, and walk the dogs depending on what was needed and I have always managed to get along with any dog I meet. I am currently a full time student at Roger Williams University and am working a part time marketing job that is remote. I have a good amount of time during the day since my classes are normally in the morning at 8-10 and other classes are at night from 6-9. Th When I usually sit, I tend to hang out with the dog for a longer time than usually, especially if they have been alone for awhile. Depending on where the location is and if it is nice out I'd be more than happy to take the pup on a walk or even play fetch outside.

Even when Kharma had to stay really late, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. At this point, Armitage is the first sitter I call every time without hesitation. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Kharma. The level of care, consistency, and genuine love they show means everything to me.”

“Carrie was communicative and flexible. She was understanding when our flight schedule kept changing impacting our timeline. Our dog, Luna, seemed to enjoy her time at Carrie’s along with a bunch of over pups.”

“Amanda, Thank you for taking care of our big pup, Roscoe!! He had a great stay and by the photos sent - he felt 100% at home. We will most definitely rebook the next time! Thanks!!! Sheila”

“Natalia was great about sending pictures and videos of my dog while I was away. It was our first time leaving her and she helped put my mind at ease, and it made my kids happy to know their dog was well taken care of!”

“I had a last minute emergency and Erica came through for us. Very kind and loving family. It is obvious how much affection they have for animals. Daisy did great and I never worried about her for a moment. It was a good experience for us.”

“Recently relocated back to the area and needed to find a dog sitter for my 8lbs Chi/Terrier mix. Have always had great experiences with Rover.com, but this time we hit the jackpot!! Perfect family to care for my little guy while I get away for a little me time. Knowing he’s well taken care of and loved.”

“Our dogs loved their time with Mary and her family (and their furry family too!). Mary is great to work with and very accommodating. We knew our dogs were getting the best of care. Highly recommend!”

“Caley had a rough start to the week. She's getting older, and requires more attention. Celina kept us in the loop, but we thought we might have to come home. We and Celina came up with a plan that allowed us to stay on vacation, and Celina handled Caley like a pro! We appreciate that so much! Sorry for the sleepless nights.”

“It was our first time leaving Phoebe and we were so nervous. Madison took great care of her and was very communicative. They were so sweet to give her the attention she needed, as she’s very needy. Madison is so sweet and we would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Cherylee took such great care of my young cat. She had awesome toys for him, kept him entertained and sent me photos and videos. I felt really good about leaving him in her care. I was nervous and worried about leaving him for the first time but all went purrfectly! I will definitely use Cherylee and Steven again!”

“Kimberly was beyond awesome! We needed a pet sitter for the day of our wedding and she was so communicative and flexible with us! Our dog had an absolute blast and she was great with sending pictures. Thank you so much!”

“Erica, again, took wonderful care of Sully. He comes home happy, tired from romping with his friends and no whining. He ate well, also. We will continue to use Erica’s sitting service whenever she is available. Thank you!”

“Briana was great watching our 2 dogs for over a week. We got daily photos of them and felt so comfortable knowing they were under such good care. Would definitely recommend and use Briana again!”

“What a terrific person! Can’t say enough nice things. And so good with our dog edna. Stephanie You’re the best. Thank you and happy holidays. Give our best to Bailey and Lupita!”
