About: I am a high school teacher, my husband works at a local university, and we have a 9 year old son who attends school in Barrington, RI. Our family adores pets (we own 1 dog and 2 cats, all friendly rescue animals) and we are flexible on the weekends or after school for pet care/walks in our lovely town. Our friendly dog would love to play with yours in our fenced in yard! I currently work full time as a teacher so I most often have availability on weekends or school breaks (including summer). If local, I might be able to support with pet care after school during the week as well. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly rescue dog (golden retriever mix). As far as individual animal routines for food and walks are concerned, I would only take on a job if I was able to provide the animal with its precise schedule. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 8, varying from puppies to senior dogs. I’m known to be very loving and patient with animals and having great connections with pets! My experience extends beyond cats and dogs, so I'm also comfortable providing care for other pets and farm animals during drop-in visits. No matter the species, every animal receives the same level of patience, respect, and compassionate care. I currently work another job Mon-Thurs until 4pm. I have limited availability for walks and drop-ins those evenings. I am available for more frequent and consistent walks and drop-in visits Friday, Saturday & Sunday. During drop-in visits and walks, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, medication administration when needed, companionship, and gentle exercise appropriate for your pet's age, health, and energy level. Whether your pet prefers a leisurely walk, a little time outside, or simply some good company and reassurance while you're away, I strive to make each visit a positive and stress-free experience. Safety, communication, and reliability are extremely important to me. I carefully follow all instructions, monitor for any changes in behavior or well-being, and provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for in your absence.

I work a couple of days a week so I have plenty of time to interact with your doggies. I can be available on short notice I do not have a fenced yard so I will always use a leash for walks or potty breaks. Your animals will always be supervised
About: I currently work at the Newport Navy Base at All Paws On Deck doggie day care. I have been there for about a year and am currently one of the lead staff members there taking care of the dogs. I have learned so much on dog behavior and safety. Since working there it has ignited an interest to become a dog trainer. The joy that dogs bring to my life has been so rewarding and I love every minute of my job and being with all my furry friends. I have grown up with always having a dog in my life and had parents that instilled responsibility that came along with it. I have watched and been responsible for friends and neighbors dogs when a helping hand is needed. My up bringing with always having a dog was that they are not just an animal but another member of the family and have to be treated as such. I have been very lucky to have had grown up with amazing dogs. I have rescued 2 beautiful greyhounds that were former racers in Florida. This particular breed is my passion due to the challenges it gives to teach them how to transition from the track to home life. This breed typically has never been inside a home and needs to be taught everything! Stairs, Windows, glass sliding doors, furniture, a yard, trust, and having her own toys and bed. This has taught me so much on how to relate to the dog and learn how they see life. My life currently when im not working is spending time with my family and enjoying the "island life" in Portsmouth. It is my husband and I along with our two boys and Anita (my greyhound). I work part time at the doggie day care. My availability time is flexible. I work half days so im available in the morning or afternoon depending on the day. I will respect the clients home and their pets boundaries and needs. I see it as entering their safe space and would not want them to feel that I am there to change that or threaten that.
About: I have taken care of both big and small dogs. Whether it be overnight care or just daily check ins/walks. I have experience with dog care, and I have experience in childcare as well. Recently graduated RWU. I work a Monday - Friday however have time after 6pm as well as mid day and weekends. Open to walks or more. I know that pets are basically furry children. About: I am a high school teacher, my husband works at a local university, and we have a 9 year old son who attends school in Barrington, RI. Our family adores pets (we own 1 dog and 2 cats, all friendly rescue animals) and we are flexible on the weekends or after school for pet care/walks in our lovely town. Our friendly dog would love to play with yours in our fenced in yard! I currently work full time as a teacher so I most often have availability on weekends or school breaks (including summer). If local, I might be able to support with pet care after school during the week as well. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly rescue dog (golden retriever mix). We have two cats who roam the house freely during the day, however we also have a separate space for them in our house. We live in a beautiful town with many trails for dog walks close-by. We love doing beach walks with our dog (his favorite!).
