About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

About: I’ve been in a pet loving family since I can remember. Taking in animals in need and caring for neighborhood pets is something I have been doing since a young age. I am a go to friend for someone needing a house sitter while they are away or just someone to stop in to feed. I have pets of my own including a cat needing medication and have experience caring for cats with special needs. I would love to make my new part time job caring for your pet. I currently work from home, Monday through Friday and have weekends off. I can drop in for a visit or walk your dog anytime with some notice. I am very detail oriented and take pride in doing my very best. I have no issues following specific direction especially for high maintenance or high need pets. From my past experiences with many different kinds or animals I can safely judge when redirection or intervention would be necessary.

About: In my 30 years, I have always had at least one pet in my care. Growing up, I took care of dogs, goats, chickens, rabbits, degus and more. I have personal experience with "exotic" animals such as hamsters, rats, chinchillas, etc. I have a combined 7 years of experience with animal care in a professional setting, including work at a pet store, as an Animal Care technician for laboratory animals and as a receptionist and kennel/boarding assistant in a veterinary hospital. About: I’ve always has a passion for animals since I was a kid! I started pet sitting and dog walking for fun and it became something I loved doing!! It gave me a chance to love and take care of someone one else’s pets besides mine! Weekends, nights, and some weekly available I will have currently but hoping that I will have more availability come the winter! I will update as needed I will not be able to care for pets in my own home for the time being as I still have a puppy. Eventually down the road this is something I would try and be able to do! About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I have a background in psychology, and I’m a dog trainer and a bit of a behaviorist. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it, which I started in August 2025. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. I am delicate and meticulous and believe in leaving no trace that I was there. I want my client after their time away from home and their animals to not be met with the mess that I could be leaving behind. I am committed to performing an act of cleaning based on the tools available.
