About: "UNAVAILABLE for dog-sitting requests after August 26* I've taken care of one type of animal or another since I was young. I've assisted in fostering animals days old to ones on their last legs of life. From young to old, big to small, I love them all! I am currently training to be an EMT, but it is a self-paced program so I can care for your pet whenever is convenient for you and can alter my schedule to fit yours without issue. In my clients' homes I make sure to have fun with their pets while maintaining any mess and ensuring that I leave the spaces how I found them. From walks and trips to the dog park, to staying inside and chilling with less energetic dogs, I make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need.

“Candi is amazing. We have a GSD who is on immunotherapy for his allergies. Candi diligently followed the medicine protocol. During our time away, Loki exhibited signs of ear infections and irritation. She was prompt to contact us. We guided her to get the medication which she was kind enough to administer and clean his ear (not an easy task to do with a gsd) She also took Loki out on walks where she was attentive to keep him disciplined consistent to his training preventing him from walking ahead of her and correcting his behavior in response to distractions. In all, she is the next person who will take care of your pup just as well as you. I have engaged her services multiple times and full stars to her each time”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love having them around. I do tend to spoil them, but I always follow the instructions you, the parent, provide. I have had senior dogs and puppies and always give them the extra care they need. We are a retired couple and always enjoy having a dog around us. We have plenty of time to play with pups, and give them lots of love. We have a fenced in backyard to play in, comfortable beds to sleep in. We won’t be taken in other family's dogs while yours is here.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs since I could crawl on all fours! I’ve raised multiple kitty litters. I’m totally comfortable with dogs and cats, large and small, old and young. I let out my personal dogs multiple times a day. I feed them breakfast and dinner. Work on some tricks with a reward! And I’m constantly surrounded and comfortable with my family and friends animals. There’s never been a time where I haven’t had a cat and a dog. Throughout the day I take out my 2 dogs in to my fenced in back yard. I have a senior pup so I’m experienced with giving medications too.

About: I have a passion for dogs and I enjoy spending time with dogs and taking the time to train them. I am dog walking various types of dogs and focused on leash pulling, reactivity, recall and basic commands. I'm currently working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule. I work every other weekend in the morning and afternoon and I work a few nights. I have a young dog at home I often take him on walks and play ball with him. I also have a 13 years old English Golden Retriever. I still take her on small walks. I regularly walk two Great Danes 2-3 times a week. I working on leash reactivity and pulling.

About: I’ve been around pets since childhood - having 2 cats, hamsters, birds and fish. I am a dog mom to a 15 year old beagle and 12 year old pittie mix both of who I adopted when they were 3 years and the other 9 months old. I walked and was also a house visitor for neighbors dogs all throughout middle school. Wherever I was there was a high possibility I was hanging out with someone’s dog. I work a Monday to Friday position but would love to spend my off hours from the office position doing house check ins and or walks for your pets. I would be able to do house check ins for bathroom breaks-feeding-loving attention-playtime as well as bringing them on walks. I am able to handle big or small & high or low energy pets.

About: I have taken care of pets starting at the age of 9 when my parents got me my first puppy. I had raised and trained him on my own, had responsibility of restocking and refilling food and water, as well as grooming, bathing, and bathroom use. Flash forward to when it came to my own dogs senior years, I had learned to understand the extra care that comes along with that. At the age of 13 I had started pet sitting for family and friends. Whether it be walking next door to my neighbors, taking care of a pet in my home, or having my mom drive me someone’s household, I’ve always enjoyed taking care of and playing with pets. At the age of 16 when I had gotten my license, I had started offering to do overnights at peoples homes for their pets and had driven myself to homes multiple times in a day to care for them. I think it’s important to be present, playful, and all around loving to each and every pet. I love to meet new pets and prioritize creating comfort between the animal and I. I’m currently working full time but have weekday evenings open and weekends open!! I have pets myself as home and pet care fits into my routine very naturally. Thankfully I have family to help out with my pets when I’m not there and can give full care to other pets when needed! I have grown up having dogs my entire life (Also having chickens, geese, and bunnies). Being a pet owner gives perspective in terms of creating a sound environment. When I go on vacation or need someone to care for my animals, I look for qualities that many others would. Trust, responsibility, and genuine care. When roles reverse, I behold these qualities to ensure that whoever I am caring for receives this level of comfort from these qualities.

When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies on walks, to dog parks or anything you do with them to make them feel comfortable. I am so excited to meet you and your pets! When caring for pets in a client's home, I am flexible, calm and cultivate a structured environment. This ensures the pets are relaxed and comfortable with me while also adhering to their typical routines. I adhere to any instructions (feeding schedules, medication management, walks, etc) left to help keep your pet happy and healthy. I also ensure that your home is taken care of, cleaning as needed, taking in the mail, etc so you can rest assured everything is going well and fully enjoy your trip. You will receive regular updates and photos, so you know your pets are thriving and safe.

I’m working remotely currently, so I’ll be home all day every day and will be able to pet sit. I’m looking for temporary situations at this time with the possibility of something long term to help out for your vacations! I have a large non fenced in yard.
