About: I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help! I am currently a full time graduate student with a very flexible schedule and available to accommodate pet check ins, walks, and additional responsibilities within my class schedule. Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

About: I have been caring for animals since I can remember. A constant activity of my childhood was visiting the local humane society to take dogs out on walks and to play outside. I was in middle school when I cared for my first litter of puppies and in high school when I fostered my first litter of kittens. Every animal that my family and I own have been rescued from poor situations or as strays. I love animals of all kinds and even have a pet snake, myself! I am currently a contractor for a nonprofit fundraising company and am able to choose my own schedule. I do not have the ability to adopt a cat or dog right now so would love to care for animals throughout my week. I care for animals as if they are my own. All animals have a story and a personality and I love finding new ways to highlight their personality. I love finding new types of enrichment and ways to play.

About: Growing up I always had dogs and helped take care of them as long as I can remember. As the current owner of a cat that doesn’t play well with others, I miss dogs and would love the chance to give yours some TLC when you’re not available! I don’t have much experience with medical care, puppies, or temperamental dogs, but am well versed in the basics. I am responsible and communicative and will be sure to send you daily updates on how your dog is doing. As a Rover customer myself, I know how important it is to feel like your pet is in good hands! My schedule is currently very flexible! I am happy to come by mornings, days, or evenings depending on your needs. My only limitation may be distance/transportation as I don’t have a car — just let me know what your location is during booking and I’ll let you know. I am happy to travel to you but unfortunately cannot host pets in my apartment. I will adhere strictly to any instructions to look out for your pet’s wellbeing and will be sure to ask any clarifying questions to ensure the best care possible.

About: Not having a pet of my own I always seek them out! I have taken care of friends’ and family’s pets for years. Everything from sassy cats to lil Pomeranians to big baby Shepards. Whether your doggo needs a walking buddy while you’re at the office, or your cat needs checking in on while you’re away, I look forward to the opportunity to meet you both. I work from home 4 out of 5 days a week. My work is flexible for midday walks or drop ins. I’m a home body who stays around the neighborhood most weekends besides the occasional weeknight softball game. I’d be happy to drop in at your home for your pet and can spend as little or as much time as you’d like with them. My schedule is ideal for regular midday walks anywhere from 15min to an hour. I have some plants toxic to pets in my home so I’m not able to open my home just yet.
