“Mac is nothing short of amazing! My pup is nice and tired after their walks. He communicates with me fast. He is also really adaptable and picks up the dog when I am in meetings at home, quick and quiet, so I am not disturbed. Mac is the go-to reliable, steady dog walker.”

“Shanna was great- fast response and very communicative. Clover is a big dog with exuberant energy and Shanna was great with her. Would definitely rebook.”

“Nikki was on time, communicative, and available on super short notice. She was able to give our pooch a decent amount of exercise over the hour long walks we had her scheduled for.”

“Her partner helped to carry shadow down our plank stairs as shadow is unable to go use them without chancing injury. Her and her partner are both store nice and shadow came back tired - all I could ask for!”

“Carmie has been doing great with our dog and provides thoughtful reports on their walks together. We appreciate that she’s dependable and caring. Our pup is always excited to see her!”
“Maggie was our first official Rover experience, and she was absolutely fantastic. Coco was well taken care of for the week, and all communication from the first point of contact to the M&G to the detailed walk reports each day (with several photos each time) offered peace of mind while I was away on a work trip. Maggie was professional, communicative, and gave thoughtful attention to the specific needs and personality quirks of Coco. I highly recommend her, and would happily book Maggie again when the need arises.”

About: With 17+ years of pet care experience, I’ve earned the trust of friends and family by providing reliable, loving care for dogs and cats of all ages. Whether it’s daily walks, playing fetch, or giving special care to seniors or puppies, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I love animals, and I love sending pup reports to keep owners updated on their pet’s adventures! As I work part-time, I have a schedule that allows me to provide pet care. Whether it's walks, playtime, or special attention for puppies and senior pets, I can easily fit pet care into my routine. I make sure to prioritize your pet's needs, offering personalized care at times that work best for both of us. I provide pet care in both my home and your pet’s home, depending on what works best. At my home, I ensure a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of space for playtime and relaxation. I offer cozy resting areas, along with time for fetch or cuddles. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain their familiar routines, ensuring they feel at ease while you’re away. I prioritize daily walks, feeding schedules, and lots of love and attention, making sure your pet feels safe and well-cared for in their own environment.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years, including my own family dog who’s been with us since 2016. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with daily care routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and administering basic medications. I'm attentive, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved at all times. Currently, I’m studying for a national exam, which allows me to be very flexible throughout the day and week—as long as I have a little heads-up to plan my schedule. I always prioritize each pet’s comfort and safety, making sure they feel secure and well-cared for. I will be following stricter guidelines created by myself about when an animal can go outside for walks or going to parks to ensure health and safety for the pet and myself.

About: Hello! I've been caring for dogs personally and professionally for 30 years. Professional Experience: - I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs through Rover and Trusted House Sitters for 4 years. - I worked at a boarding facility called Ruffin' It Resort in Madison, WI for three months following college and was responsible for walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and cleaning up after dozens of dogs. I also got to work the overnight shift which was surprisingly fun! Personal & Volunteer Experience I’ve cared for dogs since I was eight years old - feeding, walking, grooming, and cleaning up the yard. As an adult, I've volunteered with two animal shelters, one in Seattle, and one in Paintsville, KY to foster dogs of all breeds and sizes. Outside of Rover, I’ve also done short- and long-term dog sitting for friends and family. The two long term experiences were for a Blue Heeler puppy in Alaska (her mom was a salmon fisherwoman who needed to be out on the boat all summer), and two young Pitbull pups in Puerto Rico (their mom was a franger at El Yunque National Forest and needed to travel back state side for a month). I work part-time and 100% remotely so I am always home with your dog and available for pets, play, and potty breaks. We don't have kids or a ton of hobbies, so we are most often at home and excited to romp, walk, hike, or snuggle with your pups! Depending on your preference, we can either just play and exercise them in the yard, or take walks in the neighborhood. Or, if you're comfortable with it, we also live 2 blocks from a public dog park* and regularly visit a private dog park (no other dogs) and would be happy to take your dog for an outing. *I am very aware that public dog parks are NOT good settings for many dogs. We would only take your dog to a dog park with your specific permission and instructions. Safety and comfort are our top concerns. It can be stressful and scary (for both dogs and their humans) to be in a new place. Especially if the dog has its quirks (who doesn't?) or likes to go adventuring. That's why we are hyper vigilant with things like securely closing gates and making sure leashes are attached to the sturdy ring and not that flimsy ring that affixes the tag to the larger ring. From experience, we've learned that the best fit for our space and family are dogs who have moderate or lower energy levels. While we love active pups, we are a better fit for dogs who are happy chilling out, roaming the yard, and going for walks or hikes. If they need hours of intense play each day, it is not a good fit. The way our house and yard are set up, it makes it very easy for your dog(s) to have a large comfortable space to relax in. In summer, they can sun themselves on the back deck or retreat inside to enjoy the AC. In winter, we have multiple gas stoves to curl up in front of. We have two dogs of our own who are both very chill and accustomed to welcoming new pups to the pack. They are not super playful (as hounds, their primary interests are sniffing, hunting small game, eating berries, and snoozing), but they are happy to snuggle and co-exist with lots of different dogs. If your dog DOES crave some rambunctious play, we have two high-energy neighbor dogs who love to give chase and play tug-o-war who we are happy to bring over.
“Paul was right on time every time. I enjoyed our talk before he took on the job - seemed very experienced. My dogs slept well and got just the right amount of exercise. I highly recommend Paul.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I used to have a Labrador who was like a best friend to me, and now I help take care of my brother’s two cats. I’ve been volunteering at CARES Burien as a dog walker for last 2 months, which has been such a rewarding experience. I get to spend time with all kinds of dogs—big, small, shy, playful—and I really enjoy getting to know their different personalities. What makes me different is how much I truly care. I’m not just here for a walk—I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you're away. I'm working part-time now, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11 AM to 8 PM, and also on Sundays. Every pet is different, and I always try to match their vibe. If they’re playful and full of energy, we’ll get moving. If they’re older or just more chill, I’ll be calm and gentle. I really care about making pets feel safe, loved, and not alone while you’re away

“Anhelina was incredibly responsive and kind, incredibly flexible, and went above and beyond when my dog was anxious and barking for quite some time. Thank you so much for working with us during a stressful, last minute request.”

“Can’t decide which Rover sitter to care for your pup? Don’t deal with internal quarrel. Just call Laurel! Really though. She’s top notch. I feel at ease knowing my little guy is in good hands with her. She took great interest in my dogs individual needs and went above and beyond to make him happy and comfortable. My only concern is that I may not be my dogs favorite human anymore. But in this instance that’s a problem I’m happy to have. 10/10 recommend.”

About: I can do the care, feeding, and exercise your furry family needs while you're away for the day. I can guarantee they'll be wagging their tails. I'm only working 5 hour days so I'll have plenty of time for all of your creatures, from furry babies, scaley critters, and even potted plants having an existential crisis. I will fullfil the requests of petcaring as if it were you there your self , but with the convenience of your being elsewhere caring for your other obligations.
About: My family has always had dogs and over the last 10+ years I have provided care for them. I have cared for my own pets, as well as many other pets on Rover with various health needs and abilities. This includes older dogs and cats, those with health/medical issues/needs, those who need medication, as well as those with other types of support needs. I genuinely get so much joy from spending time loving on the sweet fur babies of this world and look forward to ensuring that while you are away, your fur babies feel loved and well cared for :) I am generally free Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but may be able to make other days/times work occasionally! I often work from home Monday & Tuesday so those days can be more flexible depending on the week. I can occasionally do longer term stays (up to a few weeks), as long as there is a good set up for me to work from your home part time, so feel free to reach out about longer stays as well. I am flexible, and I prefer to hear from you about how you would like your fur baby to be cared for. I am happy to do whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s) :) I am very communicative, professional, respectful of your space and thoughtful in my care and won’t be afraid to ask questions and keep you updated on how things are going!

“Hello, Lydia would be an amazing dog walker. She has compassion and genuinely cares for all animals and nature. When her cat passed away she was devastated until she met my boxer. After good times with him she fell in love with my boy and eventually got a boxer of her own. Having never had a dog of her own before she was always and still very attentive to his needs. Fiona L.
“So I live next to a dog walker who contracts with other dog walkers, and a lot of these people seem fine on the surface, but aren't great when the owner leaves. Fiona though is the real deal. She is genuinely kind, caring, and responsible. She is the only pet service provider I would ever trust to care for my pets. I have known her since she was a teenager and these traits have always been consistent with her character. As a pet owner, I am so relieved that she is available to do this work.”

“Morgan was really thoughtful and communicative in planning. Our dog seems to really like him! He also took great photos of their walk together.”
