About: From littles of 4 lbs to fluffy teddybears of over 100lbs - I have experience caring for dogs and cats of varying ages and weights. I am more than confident that I can not only provide outstanding care for your pet, but can also make sure they're safe and comfortable by looking after them in their own home! As a dog owner myself, I am very familiar with stress over leaving your canine/feline friend and can ensure a constant line of communication with frequent picture updates to assuage any travel anxiety on your part! I am currently a college student home for the summer and will be available May-August. Please let me know of any questions or concerns! I will be volunteering and traveling a bit this summer but plan to be available most weekdays and weekends. Travel dates will be blocked off and if there's any questions as to availability please don't hesitate to reach out. Safety is of course the number one priority when you leave your pet in the care of a sitter. Whether is medication or walks twice a day I am very diligent and mindful of keeping track of all aspects of sitting! I will discuss any concerns you have before your departure and will always be available for texts/calls/etc.

“Brian is great! He asked a lot of questions during our meet and greet to get an idea of my dogs needs. He’s really good with my senior dog who needs frequent trips outside. I definitely recommend him!”

About: I’ve watched family and friends animals for several of years and truly enjoy it. I’m trustworthy and promise to watch after your pet as if it was my own. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, I can watch your pet during the day on those days. I have the weekends off and enjoy being active. I would love to dog sit or take your pet for walks those days. I can also walk your pet after 5pm Monday-Friday. I have a fenced in yard and no pets of my own. Hence why I want to watch your pets! I can crate your dog if needed.

“Cassidy did a wonderful job taking care of our golden doodle for a week while we were out of town. She took him for walks, gave him lots of love, and sent us daily pics. She also brought in our mail, packages, and put out the trash cans on trash day. She is very pleasant to work with and a good communicator. Our family will definitely be asking her for more pet sitting and dog walk visits in the future!”

About: What sets me apart from any pet sitter is that I had a variety of pets when was growing up. I have experience with reptiles and horses other than dogs and cats. Right now, I’m on a hiatus from my full time job so my schedule is very open for the next month. Otherwise, I would be able to do after 5pm during the weekend and be open on the weekends. I cannot watch pets in my home at this time due to living in an apartment. I am willing to come to your home to feed, water, walk, and play with your dog. I’m familiar with crate training. I did this with my own dog I had with my ex husband many years ago.

“Awesome dog sitter. Our 10-year-old dog Solo got to have no break in routine with Dayna staying with her and doing everything we do. There was none of the trauma associated with a kennel ... just a new friend.”

“Alyssa was so amazing with Mac. She was very responsive and sent texts throughout the day.”

About: At the age of 14, I started dog sitting for my neighbors’ dogs, and it didn’t take long for me to realize how much I enjoyed it. What began as a simple favor quickly turned into a passion. Over the years, I’ve grown more dedicated to caring for animals, and it has become something truly meaningful in my life. I love what I do and take pride in providing care, attention, and love to all animals, no matter their size, breed, or personality. It’s more than just a job for me—it’s a genuine passion and commitment to the well-being of every pet I care for. Schedule: I’m available Sunday through Saturday with a highly flexible schedule. I have a side job downtown Brighton, but it allows me to accommodate pet sitting needs with ease. Whether it’s popping in for a quick visit, taking your pet for a walk, or providing overnight care, I can adjust to fit your schedule and your pet’s needs. As a pet sitter it is a bit easier for me to know a few days in advance or any type of trip just weeks in advance! Throughout my experience, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets in my clients’ homes. I’ve spent countless hours in clients’ homes, bonding with their animals in their familiar environment, which helps build trust and comfort. Over time, I’ve not only earned the trust of the pets but also their owners. My number one priority is ensuring that my clients feel completely comfortable and confident in my care. To achieve this, I always offer a meet-and-greet before any pet-sitting arrangement. This allows me to get to know the pets, their routines, and the owners’ expectations, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone involved.

“We are so happy we discovered Abby through Rover! She stayed with our 18 year old kitty while we were away at a family reunion, and she did a wonderful job! Oliver is no easy-to-deal-with cat, as he requires medicine twice a day, eats only canned food, and also has a bottomless pit for attention. She was there for him, kept us updated, and we also found our home spotless upon our return. In addition, she kept our wild birds happy by keeping their feeders and baths full, along with watering our potted flowers. Over and above!”

“Toby received excellent care from Betsy. She also sent photos everyday, which I so appreciated. Toby was calm when we got home, and the house was clean and tidy. Definitely 5 stars!”

“Jackie was very loving and caring of our two dogs. Not only did she take care of our two higher-needs dogs, but she watched over our house and kept everything very neat. Great communication and she provided multiple pictures and videos, sometimes twice a day.”

“Diane took excellent care of my two pups during a last minute 5-day booking. Communication was outstanding. I received updates, pictures and videos while I was away. One of my dogs is a special needs case and they rose to the occasion, providing first-rate care. Dogs and I were very satisfied with their service!”

“Christina was wonderful! She went above and beyond and always communicated in a timely manner. We will definitely book with her in the future.”

“I used Kelley for the first time for 2 trips in December. She was absolutely amazing. Kelley came to my house to watch my 2 dogs. One of my dogs is a rescue and typical is very leery of any strangers. Both my dogs were immediately comfortable with Kelley.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was young, I love all animals and will make sure your pet is safe and taken care of when your away! I currently work full time and am gone for about 8-10 hours during week days, but can pet sit anytime after/before work and during the weekend. I also am available to walk dogs after work or during the weekend as well. I have a fenced in back yard, a 2 year old dog that loves friends and a cat that minds her business. I can easily crate if needed and am able to stay at a client's home if that is easier.

“I have never known anyone to love animals more than Gwen! When we were little girls, Gwen learned to gallop like a horse before she learned to run. She’s a busy mom of kiddos and still found the time to throw her beloved dog Hercules an 11th birthday party. Your dog would be honored to have a pup-lover like Gwen take them for a stroll!”

6. Kate E.
“I’ve had the pleasure of watching Kate grow up and have seen her interactions with animals of all kinds and I can confidently say that she is one of the most compassionate and dependable animal caregivers I know. Kate has a natural connection with animals that’s truly special. She has loved and cared for her own dog for over 8 years, giving her first-hand experience in the day-to-day responsibilities and joys of pet ownership. In addition to that, she has assisted me (also a Rover sitter) with a variety of pet sits — from energetic puppies to senior dogs — across all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Her calm demeanor and attentive care always put both pets and their owners at ease. Beyond traditional pet sitting, Kate also spent a summer working on Mackinac Island where she was responsible for caring for and leading a team of horses, performing carriage tours and providing taxi services on the island — a true testament to her versatility, strength, and love for animals of all kinds. Kate is reliable, kind-hearted, and genuinely committed to the well-being of every animal in her care. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her as their sitter!”

13. Karina F.
“Karina is always a wonderful dog sitter for our 2 pups! We have Karina stay at our house with the dogs, which keeps the dogs happy as well as the house safer. Karina gives the dogs lots of loving attention - cuddles, pets, treats and play. She keeps us updated if there are any concerns or questions, and sends us pictures of the dogs playing and snuggling with her during her stay. She is flexible with her schedule (gets there early on the day we have to leave or stays as late as we need her to on the day we come back home). She is reliable - I don't have to worry about her forgetting the dates or leaving the dogs alone for hours. At the end of our vacation, we come home to a clean, well kept house and happy dogs that have been well cared for! We have had Karina stay for as short as one night, and as long as just over 2 weeks. We highly recommend Karina as a dog sitter!”
