We picked them because they only take 1 dog at a time, they charged the same amount as it would be to board in a kennel, but he got the 1 on 1 love and attention from them and in the comfort of their beautiful home. It was just like going to grandma grandpa's house! We did a meet and greet the day before and my dog seem comfortable with them from the moment we walked in. They knew all the right things to look for- his energy level, his appetite, his body language. They sent updates every single day and included several pictures too. We were seriously so happy and pleased with how well they cared for our dog. It was not easy leaving him but it was so reassuring to know how well he was being taken care of. I am missing a furry friend and would love to meet and care for your pet. I have a lovely setting for boarding your dog or cat. I live in a wooded area with large lots and long meandering roads for walks that are away from busy roads. I am home full time since I retired and love to walk, so your dog will get lots of exercise staying with me. I usually only take one dog at a time, however if you have 2 pets from the same household, I would take both. I would also take 2 dogs, each from different households, if both pet parents agree. I will give full attention to your pet during boarding, doggy day care, drop in visits, and walks. I will love and play with them and follow any specific instructions for pet care you have. About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and now have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s getting a little older but we still enjoy walks around the neighborhood and running around the yard. About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.

About: Hello! Kyle and I joined Rover in July 2025. Earlier that summer, in June, we said goodbye to our beloved Black Lab, Otis. We brought him home at 7 weeks old, and he filled our lives with love for nearly eight years until he passed from chronic kidney disease. He was truly the heart of our family. After losing Otis, we knew we still wanted dogs to be part of our daily lives. With two young children, we weren’t ready for the full commitment of a new puppy, but we wanted to keep that love and energy in our home—so we found Rover! Between the two of us, we have over 15 years of dog-care experience. Kyle trained our dog to be off-leash, hunted ducks with him, and spent countless hours outdoors playing frisbee. For boarding: Our kids are 5 and 3, so we ask that any dog we host is comfortable around children. We live on Crooked Lake and would love to take your dog on the boat if they enjoy the water. Our home sits on a spacious lot with plenty of activity in our cul-de-sac, making it a fun environment for pups. Of note: I typically only host one dog at a time. However, some families are comfortable with me hosting two. If that situation comes up, I may check with you to see if you’re okay with it—but I will always respect your decision. Kyle works from home Monday–Friday with a flexible schedule. I’m off on Thursdays and would be happy to take on a long-term walking companion on my days off. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my husband works from home full time in the automotive sales industry. He is able to spend time with your dog throughout the day! We have an open-yard setup with plenty of street activity. Although we live on a dead-end cul-de-sac, our yard is not fully fenced. Our street alone has nine children and four dogs, and it’s common to see the neighborhood dogs enjoying their own yards. We have plenty of space for long walks, and we love when visiting dogs enjoy playing with the friendly pups on our street—if that’s something you’re comfortable with, of course.

About: I’ve had animals all my life and since i don’t currently have them at the moment I LOVE spending time with other peoples pets! I have watched multiple family and friends pets when they go on vacation and really enjoy the company of animals for a few days! I work with our therapy dog that we have at work, and have also volunteered at the humane society! I have somewhat of a hybrid schedule depending on the week, so depending on what your pet is use to we can try work around it. I also have some training experience and I have a pittie at home with some behavioral issues so I’m no stranger to difficult dogs! About: My husband & I grew up having both dogs & cats. Neither of us have professional experience. However, we have watched family members or neighbors pets on top of taking care of our own (2 y.o. Beagle & x2 7 y.o. cats) We both value talking to animals & providing them with whatever environment they prefer, be it more playtime, a shady quiet napping spot, or sun bathing. As most know cats can’t necessarily be trained but nevertheless ours are well behaved. They do have their claws but they have never scratched or bitten (unless playfully) anyone. Our beagle is also well behaved, albeit goofy, & trained with Whole Hearted peanut butter treats. We do still currently have a cage but it is very rare we use it, mostly from when she was a younger puppy. Our animals do fine around others. The cats have an escape to the basement with a gate so if they are crabby will go there. Our dog will sometimes make the classic beagle howl at first but is never a threat. I am home most of the time. We have a child under the age of 1 but she is generally excited by all dogs & cats. My schedule is flexible. If there is someone who would like to make long term arrangements that would be okay to discuss. We live in a neighborhood off a dirt road with a decent sized back yard. There is no fence. We put our dog on a chord if she is unattended but usually will also be outside. There are trails going all around the neighborhood that are perfect for dog walks. We have a farm behind our house that has 2 horses gated in. They are friendly & our dog will get excited if anything. There are multiple households in our neighborhood with dogs. Inside the house, dogs will have lots of choices when it comes to resting spots; sunny or more dark quiet spaces.

“I feel like we hit the jackpot with Bill and Sandy! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family and he is almost 8. We picked them because they only take 1 dog at a time, they charged the same amount as it would be to board in a kennel, but he got the 1 on 1 love and attention from them and in the comfort of their beautiful home. It was just like going to grandma grandpa's house! We did a meet and greet the day before and my dog seem comfortable with them from the moment we walked in. They knew all the right things to look for- his energy level, his appetite, his body language. They sent updates every single day and included several pictures too. We were seriously so happy and pleased with how well they cared for our dog. It was not easy leaving him but it was so reassuring to know how well he was being taken care of. I would recommend Bill and Sandy to anyone! We got so lucky to pick them on our first time using Rover and I wouldn't use anyone else besides them going forward!”

“I naturally connected with Stephanie and her husband when I met her during the meet and greet. She is amazing as a person and very knowledgeable about dogs and their needs. My dog was with her for a week and she sent me pics of him everyday without asking and he came home happy and healthy. Every pic was of him having a blast while I was traveling. Her place is clean and spacious which dogs need. I cannot stress how good and confident I felt leaving my dog with her and have already scheduled another appointment with her. “Anne was a God send! We have two dogs that both had meet and greets with her before our weekend away. Both dogs loved Anne, but we had to make some plan adjustments when one of our dogs developed a rather bad eye infection. Anne was super flexible with our plans and schedule and helped watch one of our pups, Sakari, for the weekend. She provided ample updates throughout each day, accompanied by lots of pictures and videos!! We knew our girl was in terrific hands and never had to worry while we were apart. Sakari is a bit of an anxious dog, especially with new people and settings, but she was instantly comfortable around Anne. She was taken on plenty of long walks and got all the cuddles her little heart desired while we were away. We cannot recommend Anne enough!!! We will most definitely be asking her to sit for our dogs again in the future!”
