Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“Karen was a wonderful boarder for our 3 year old, high energy “puppy”! We got daily pictures and updates. Her home is clean and dog friendly! Henry had a wonderful time! She even got him to eat during the week which usually doesn’t happen in our absence. We appreciate her care so we could visit family! THANK YOU!”

“Deanna and her husband did an excellent job taking care of our dog Bernie during his week long stay with them. He is an older dog with mobility and other health challenges. They went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and felt secure. I highly recommend them!!”

“We couldn’t have found a better person to leave our 1 yr. Old Goldendoodle with during our first time away from him for 9 days. Caroline always sent daily videos several times a day. She interacts with the dogs in her care and you can see how well they are taken care of by her. She has the perfect set up in her home and yard. She and her husband make a great team. We missed our pup so much and it was nice to have reassurance and see for ourselves how he was doing good in the videos. He was having so much fun we were equally sad and happy when we picked him up. He will definitely be back. We can’t thank Caroline enough for her obvious love and care she has for canines. ❤️”

“Holly is not only very nice but a very caring caretaker for your fur children! Excellent communication and wonderful picture follow up while you are away. Highly recommend Holly and she gives you peace that they are in excellent hands. Our dogs love her yard with plenty of nature to safely explore. Wonderful caretaker. Can’t say enough great things about her!”

“Michael did a great job looking after our German shepherd, Kainoa. She enjoyed going on walks with him and playing fetch in his fenced backyard! Michael was very attentive to our instructions regarding Kai's care. Will definitely book with him again!”

“Marija absolutely loves our dogs and treats them as her own. They are always so excited to go to her house and play with her dog Major. We will definitely be back next time we have some travel.”

“I can’t say enough positive about our first experience with rover which was with Kelsey and Kyle. They took tremendous care of our little yorkie girl who usually is clingy about us but when we picked her up and Kyle left the room she whined and in the two years we’ve had her, we had never heard her whine. They also sent us pics of our girl enjoying her day!! They’re great!!”

“Couldn't have worked out any better. Kelly and Brandon were amazing care givers for Maverick. They made us feel completely comfortable by taking care of our dog in a personable way. We were updated frequently and received photos letting us know all was well. Maverick has a new best friend in Arvon.”

“Shashank was great with Smokey, and his dog Chicoo (the same age as Smokey) was such a sweet and friendly companion! I received lots of pictures and updates, which made me feel very happy about choosing Shashank and Chicoo to care for Smokey while I was away.”

“my dogs must have enjoyed it because they didn’t act any different getting in the car and going home. They barely missed us. I can tell this family enjoyed taking care of my dogs and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in good hands.”

About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors, including drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and giving pets plenty of love and attention. I work as an assistant infant teacher, so caring for others, staying patient, and paying close attention to routines comes naturally to me. I know every pet has a unique personality, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind. I work part-time as an assistant infant teacher, so my schedule varies throughout the week. I’m available for pet care before and after work, on evenings, and on many weekends. I’ll always communicate my availability in advance and make sure your pet receives the care, attention, exercise, and love they deserve while you’re away. I do my best to be flexible and reliable to fit your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your pet is always supervised and cared for. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away.

“Mina looked after pookie so nicely it shows on his face in the videos and pictures. lot of walks playtimes and cuddles. I am beyond satisfied and would definitely recommend.”

“Stephanie was wonderful! Great communication and sent daily picture updates. Our dog, JJ, seemed to have had the best time! We will definitely be using Stephanie again!”

“Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention. Honestly, I imagine Uki was a bit sad to leave! We are so grateful to Anne for her attention to our pup and would rebook with her in an instant/recommend her to all our friends. Great first experience with Rover!”
“Laura was the best sitter ever! She sent pictures along with daily updates every day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leaving my dog with Laura was the most comfortable I have ever felt with anyone ever. Thank you Laura!”

“Matthew was great, he was very accommodating. Our dog had plenty of play time and attention: she went on walks and loved having a fenced in yard to explore. Matthew communicated well with us. He provided plenty of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated this having been our first time using someone for boarding!”

“Aisha was great. Very accommodating with my change in travel plans. She made the dogs super comfortable and was so kind enough to send pics of them during their stay. She’s a great communicator and responds very quickly to messages. I highly recommend her for your pet needs.”

Cat caregivers near you - Brighton

About: I genuinely enjoy caring for cats and have experience cat sitting for friends, family, and clients. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and I take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. I’m happy to feed them, refresh water, clean litter boxes, play with them if they enjoy it, or simply give them quiet companionship. “Milo was super prompt in all communication and so warm and caring! He was on time with the meet and greet and all visits. I appreciate all the photos and notes while I was gone. My shy cat warmed up to Milo by the second visit. I trust him and will book with Milo again soon!”
“William did a wonderful job caring for my cats. He was prompt each day; gave fun updates on the girls eating, play, etc; and made time to pet and play each day. He performed all daily activities I requested. Would highly recommend.”

“I’m so happy with the care Katie provides during her drop-in visits. We have an older, very shy and skittish cat who usually hides from visitors—but thanks to Katie’s gentle and patient approach, she’s now starting to come out and say hello. It’s been such a relief to know our cat is in such thoughtful and trustworthy hands! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: We’ve loved and cared for animals our entire lives and have years of hands-on experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and physical needs. That lifelong experience helped us create a home designed specifically for dogs’ safety and comfort, where we care for only one pup at a time so we can give them our full attention. With a fenced yard, lots of supervision, and very little time spent alone, your dog will enjoy a calm, loving environment filled with playtime, cuddles, and personalized care. Our daily routine is built around the dogs in our care. One of us is home most of the day, so your pup will have very little, if any, time alone. We provide regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time in our fenced yard, play sessions, walks (if that’s part of their routine), and plenty of cuddle and relax time throughout the day. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and medication schedule so their stay feels familiar, comfortable, and stress-free. We offer a calm, safe, and loving home for your dog while you’re away. We intentionally care for only one dog at a time, so your pup gets our full attention and a peaceful, stress-free stay (no crowded doggy sleepovers here!).
About: I’ve owned many dogs since I was very young and have helped in caring in them. I’ve also watched over neighbors dogs and cats, taken them for walks, fed them and played with them. I work a part time job and am looking for something nice to fill in my time outside of it. I usually range from having 20-25 hr weeks and am free the remainder or the time I have a large yard with two dogs who love to play and run around. I’ll go out with them multiple times a day to go to the bathroom and play fetch with them. I always keep a close eye on them and make sure they aren’t getting into things they shouldn’t. I feed them twice a day, once in the morning and evening and always make sure their water is full.

“There wasnt a parrot care on that website so I asked Lyle if he could care for my parrots , as there is unfortunately no options for birds ! So he agreed and came over to change food and water And did exactly the way I asked him to do! He was on time at each appointment ! I would also mention that he is trustworthy as nothing was missing in my home not that i own a Monet painting or something loll but it always can be an issue when you have a stranger in your home! But you can count on Lyle that he is only interested in of taking care of your pet! And that is important! Those days you can’t be too careful, thank you Lyle ! A bientôt! ;)”

“I have a modified automated cat feeder and a few smart home setups that I was worried would be too intricate to explain to someone else, but Heather handled everything perfectly; she absolutely went above and beyond! She was very responsive and sent lots of updates and pictures while I was away. I'm planning another trip soon and will certainly book with her again!”

About: Hello! I’m Katie! I have been caring for cats of all ages since I was about 10. I have a parent who would bring home kittens from their vet so I could bottle feed them and I even have two older cats of my own. I have also pet sat for many ages of cats with different needs as well. I would love to help you out and maybe even make a new furry friend along the way!

“Melissa really loves animals. She listened to all my directions; she was caring and professional. I appreciated the photos of my foster kittens and I knew they were in the best hands! I would recommend Melissa and I plan to work with her again!”

“Anne has been a true blessing for our dog! She doesn’t just stop by to let him out, she plays with him and works with him on his leash. She always goes above and beyond. You can tell he really enjoys the time he gets to spend with her.”

“As always, Natalie took great care of cat while we were hone for the weekend. She always arrives on schedule provides outstanding care. She also takes GREAT pictures for her check-ins. Highly recommended!”

“Kelena was exactly what we'd hoped for. Had a last minute cancellation for boarding our 2 dogs. Which left us in a panic. We had one week before our event, and to make it even worse, it was Memorial Day weekend. Rover sent a list of drop-in sitters to help. Kelena responded very quickly to our request. Had a very successful meeting, the dogs loved her! On the day of the event, she came at the appointed time, sent pictures of our dogs, so we knew she got in okay, and fed and watered them. So when we returned home, all was well. She's a gem, very good with our dogs. Will definitely use her service again.”

“I recently worked with Alexandria to care for my cat, Juniper, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring Juniper was well cared for while I was away. I returned to a happy cat and a house just as I left it. The communication was excellent, and I appreciated the thoughtful updates and photos. I highly recommend Alexandria and look forward to working together again in the future.”

“She is so fantastic! Her backyard is huge. Our dogs are still asleep and it's 16 hours since we picked them up. We're definitely going to ask her to dog sit them again. She's very friendly and open and communicates very well. We also got pictures during the day which was really nice. I think they had a fantastic time.”

“Caroline is the best! She loves the dogs and takes great care of them. She even had a dog birthday party for my dogs first birthday when she was at doggie daycare ! So kind and caring!”

“Sheila is an amazing person and caregiver! Today was our dog’s first day with her, and our doggo was loved and very well taken care of. Thank you, Sheila!!”

About: I’ve owned several dogs, large and small breeds, most of my life. I am a dog lover!!. I am a retired registered nurse, and recently had to say goodbye to our beloved lab, Mack. I am missing a furry friend and would love to meet and care for your pet. I have a lovely setting for boarding your dog or cat. I live in a wooded area with large lots and long meandering roads for walks that are away from busy roads. I am home full time since I retired and love to walk, so your dog will get lots of exercise staying with me. I usually only take one dog at a time, however if you have 2 pets from the same household, I would take both. I would also take 2 dogs, each from different households, if both pet parents agree. I will give full attention to your pet during boarding, doggy day care, drop in visits, and walks. I will love and play with them and follow any specific instructions for pet care you have. I will communicate with pet updates during our visits and send you pictures of your pets daily activities.
About: My husband and I love giving plenty of cuddles, attention, and affection. We truly enjoy the companionship and know it’s returned tenfold. I’m a full-time healthcare professional who has always had a soft spot for furry family members. We understand how important it is to know your pet is not just cared for, but genuinely loved in a home environment rather than staying in a kennel. That’s exactly what we provide. Your pet will be treated like one of our own, with attention, comfort, and care throughout the entire day. Since I work from home, your pet will have consistent supervision, companionship, and plenty of love morning, day, and night I have worked from home for quite a few year which allows me to let doggies out every hour if needed and take several quick walks Pets are allowed to go everywhere in the home. We do have a baby gate up at my office door to block off dogs when we leave the house for a period of time if they are puppies
“Olivia is friendly, responsive, and flexible with our scheduling needs, and we were happy she was available to have Maddie at her house. Our dog was happy and comfortable spending the day with Olivia and her family.”

“Kelcie and Kyle take excellent care of our doggies and even sent them home with sweet notes and a gift/ toy. They are wonderful and we feel very fortunate to have them to watch our puppies!”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I grew up on a dairy goat farm. All sorts of dogs, horses, cats, cows, goats, etc. I have had Chihuahuas all the way through German Shepherds. Puppy age all the way through their whole lives. I am the biggest animal (especially dog) lover! I love meeting new personalities. I would spend 24/7 lounging around with my dogs & cats if I could!🩷 I currently have a 16 year old Minature Schnauzer, and an under 1 year old Goldendoodle. My old girl currently takes quite a few medications and likes her alone time. My little man loves to play, be active, and requires hands on often. Therefore, I work with a spectrum of needs. I will make sure your baby has all the play time (or alone/rest time) they need!🩷 I am a professional MMA fighter & bar tend on the weekends! Most of my job consists of being at the gym just a couple hours at a time. And I live 5 minutes away from where I train! It makes spending time with & caring for pets easy and frequent. I only bar tend two days on the weekend (and my boyfriend is home most of that time too 😁 ) Home visits 🏡: In my client’s homes, I can easily care for your pets however you need. I will play games with your furry friends, lounge around with them, etc. I am a very active person & love taking long walks myself, so I would love to do that with your dog if you’d like! I am a reliable, very detail oriented gal. Whatever instructions you leave, I’ll get them done. I love when my clients can come back to a clean, comfortable space after caring for their fur babies. Boarding 🐶: I have a fenced in back yard on a quieter side street. We have an older Miniature Schnauzer, under 1 year old Goldendoodle, and two gentle, quiet cats that lounge around (pretty much keeping to themselves) 🩷 I have plenty of space in my living area to have the zoomies. I have a spare room to give your pet some rest and seclusion too! That means I also have ample room to crate your doggie, if needed. We would love to have your best friend come hang with us 🙂
“Our dog had a great time, and we received plenty of updates and details regarding her stay, which we really appreciated. We were glad to see that Maggie made new friends, and she came back happy and tired!”

“Bill and Sandy are fantastic! They made us feel so comfortable dropping our dog off for the first time. We also had some special requests about his care and they had no issue accommodating. We will definitely be bringing our dog back.”

About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and now have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s getting a little older but we still enjoy walks around the neighborhood and running around the yard. We like having dog guests to hang out with. I’ve watched dogs for friends and family over the years and enjoy having them around the house. I only host one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). I can provide daycare and overnight stays in my home. Can be flexible with start and end times and can include pick-up or drop-off, if near by. Your dog’s safety and comfort are the priority here. I only take one dog at a time (or multiple from the same family) to ensure a relaxed environment for the dogs and for me. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone, and they’ll have regular access to a fenced yard, walks, and time to relax inside. I try to keep things low-stress and stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or exercise needs. My dog is friendly, and comfortable around other dogs, but I always prefer slow introductions to make sure we'll be a good match. I’m happy to send updates and photos during your dog’s stay so you know how they're doing
“This was the first time we had left our puppy with someone and we were a little apprehensive, however, Holly was awesome. After talking with her in person we were at ease about leaving Ruger with her. I will use Holly again and I highlighted recommend her.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Brighton
About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved being around them. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors care for their dogs—whether that meant daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or watching them in my own home. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and currently don’t have any pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days and times, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m able to accommodate last-minute requests, recurring walks, and longer stays. I’m reliable, responsive, and can adjust to your dog’s routine as needed. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and make sure dogs are always supervised while outside. I currently don’t have other pets in my home, so your dog will have a calm environment and my full attention. I also have reliable transportation and can safely transport dogs if needed. While I don’t keep a crate on hand, I’m happy to accommodate one if you provide it and can easily transport it when necessary.
“I can’t say enough good things about Bill. My husband had a stroke and then a heart attack last fall and has been unable to walk out Annie while I am at work. Bill not only walks her but has been training her to be a good dog on her walks. She looks forward to seeing him as do we. We are so blessed to have him. ❤️”

About: Hello! Kyle and I joined Rover in July 2025. Earlier that summer, in June, we said goodbye to our beloved Black Lab, Otis. We brought him home at 7 weeks old, and he filled our lives with love for nearly eight years until he passed from chronic kidney disease. He was truly the heart of our family. After losing Otis, we knew we still wanted dogs to be part of our daily lives. With two young children, we weren’t ready for the full commitment of a new puppy, but we wanted to keep that love and energy in our home—so we found Rover! Between the two of us, we have over 15 years of dog-care experience. Kyle trained our dog to be off-leash, hunted ducks with him, and spent countless hours outdoors playing frisbee. For boarding: Our kids are 5 and 3, so we ask that any dog we host is comfortable around children. We live on Crooked Lake and would love to take your dog on the boat if they enjoy the water. Our home sits on a spacious lot with plenty of activity in our cul-de-sac, making it a fun environment for pups. Of note: I typically only host one dog at a time. However, some families are comfortable with me hosting two. If that situation comes up, I may check with you to see if you’re okay with it—but I will always respect your decision. Kyle works from home Monday–Friday with a flexible schedule. I’m off on Thursdays and would be happy to take on a long-term walking companion on my days off. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my husband works from home full time in the automotive sales industry. He is able to spend time with your dog throughout the day! We have an open-yard setup with plenty of street activity. Although we live on a dead-end cul-de-sac, our yard is not fully fenced. Our street alone has nine children and four dogs, and it’s common to see the neighborhood dogs enjoying their own yards. We have plenty of space for long walks, and we love when visiting dogs enjoy playing with the friendly pups on our street—if that’s something you’re comfortable with, of course.
“We have never had a dog walker before, so we were a bit nervous about how our dog would do, but she was thrilled with Blake! He did an excellent job of updating us with details of the visit/walk which really put my mind at ease that my dog was in good hands. He also took the time to pet our cat, which was very appreciated! Blake has a calmness about him that the animals took a liking to immediately. We will continue to schedule weekly walks with Blake.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 and I am veterinary technician with a year of experience and I’m planning on getting my license in the fall! I also have some training experience and I have a pittie at home with some behavioral issues so I’m no stranger to difficult dogs! I do work a full time job at a vet clinic but I am available over nights, some weekdays and weekends to either stay with your fur baby or just stop in to let them out and feed them! I unfortunately cannot have dogs come to my house, but I am respectful and cleanly! I don’t mind staying at your house with your dog, cat, or any other animal you may have! “Alexandria is great with our two very different dogs! Herbie is older and loud and Lola is young and energetic but quiet. Even in the current deep freeze she got them out for me (despite Herbie’s protests)! Thank you 😊”

About: I have grown up surrounded by various animals and I love taking care of them. I want to make fur babies as happy as possible! I am currently working part time at a law firm while I go to law school and am looking for a way to hang with more furry friends! I have one small dog at home who is very friendly and playful. She would love to run around with your fur baby all day.
About: My husband & I grew up having both dogs & cats. Neither of us have professional experience. However, we have watched family members or neighbors pets on top of taking care of our own (2 y.o. Beagle & x2 7 y.o. cats) We both value talking to animals & providing them with whatever environment they prefer, be it more playtime, a shady quiet napping spot, or sun bathing. As most know cats can’t necessarily be trained but nevertheless ours are well behaved. They do have their claws but they have never scratched or bitten (unless playfully) anyone. Our beagle is also well behaved, albeit goofy, & trained with Whole Hearted peanut butter treats. We do still currently have a cage but it is very rare we use it, mostly from when she was a younger puppy. Our animals do fine around others. The cats have an escape to the basement with a gate so if they are crabby will go there. Our dog will sometimes make the classic beagle howl at first but is never a threat. I am home most of the time. We have a child under the age of 1 but she is generally excited by all dogs & cats. My schedule is flexible. If there is someone who would like to make long term arrangements that would be okay to discuss. We live in a neighborhood off a dirt road with a decent sized back yard. There is no fence. We put our dog on a chord if she is unattended but usually will also be outside. There are trails going all around the neighborhood that are perfect for dog walks. We have a farm behind our house that has 2 horses gated in. They are friendly & our dog will get excited if anything. There are multiple households in our neighborhood with dogs. Inside the house, dogs will have lots of choices when it comes to resting spots; sunny or more dark quiet spaces.

Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“Andrew took amazing care of our dog!! He was extremely proactive ahead of time by doing a meet and greet and accommodating specific requests. He communicated regularly during the stay with pictures and videos. He went above and beyond by reinforcing our dog’s training during his stay. Andrew took it in stride when our dog rolled in something smelly and returned him to us bathed and happy :)”

“Jenna and family were perfect for our Aussilier Charli. We received pictures and updates throughout her 5 day stay. Our Charli came home happy, exhausted and a little more spoiled than she already is! 😊. We definitely recommend Jenna and will use her services again for our next travel.”

“Linda was great with our energetic young lab! She took her on lots of walks and kept her in good shape for when we got back. She sent multiple pictures everyday of how our pup was doing. That was very helpful for our first big trip away! We definitely plan to use her again in the future and would recommend to anyone!”

“Michele is a very warm and caring person. She took our dog on several walks and was very attentive during his stay including him as part of the family. She also provided daily updates. I will be using her soon because our dog was well cared for and she is a pleasure to work with.”
