“Mia was great! Having her stay with my cat allowed me to enjoy my vacation and not worry. She sent pics daily and assured me everything was ok. I definitely will use her again and recommend her to stay with your fur babies!”

“Milo did an excellent job watching our puppy while we were away! He communicated very well, sent us updates and photos, and kept the house neat. It’s clear how much he loves and cares about animals and we would gladly have him back to watch out pup!”

“Charley was amazing!! She was great with Norbert and kept the house clean and was super communicative! Will definitely be using Charley again!”

“Josie was great. She sent pictures of Opal every day. She left my house in perfect condition and it was so pleasant coming home to a clean house. I definitely recommend Josie.”

“Melissa and Nick earned their “star” status here for one simple reason: they are THE BEST! I was in a tough situation the weekend before I had to leave for a business trip on Monday morning. My sitter cancelled. Two people can handle a situation like this better than anyone — they are like tag-team world champions. I never had to worry that my kidz were alone. And, they left my house better than they found it … my bedroom light was fixed after 2 years of dim light. They will definitely be my “go to” house sitters forever! I’m looking forward to getting out a little more, too!”

“Amelia took great care of Dune, and sent me lots of awesome pics! Reliable and great communication skills. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our 13-year-old Teddy. He’s a gentle giant, but also a bit anxious when left alone — so finding someone who could put him at ease was really important. Sarah did exactly that. From the moment she met him, she was kind, calm, and reassuring, and Teddy took to her immediately — which, in turn, put us at ease. Sarah was attentive, loving, and clearly has a special way with dogs. She sent thoughtful updates and sweet pictures and was always a great communicator. On top of being a wonderful caretaker for Teddy (our top priority), she also took excellent care of the house, truly going above and beyond in every respect. We would absolutely use her again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is warm, responsible, and completely devoted to the pets in her care.”

About: From littles of 4 lbs to fluffy teddybears of over 100lbs - I have experience caring for dogs and cats of varying ages and weights. I am more than confident that I can not only provide outstanding care for your pet, but can also make sure they're safe and comfortable by looking after them in their own home! As a dog owner myself, I am very familiar with stress over leaving your canine/feline friend and can ensure a constant line of communication with frequent picture updates to assuage any travel anxiety on your part! I am currently a college student home for the summer and will be available May-August. Please let me know of any questions or concerns! I will be volunteering and traveling a bit this summer but plan to be available most weekdays and weekends. Travel dates will be blocked off and if there's any questions as to availability please don't hesitate to reach out. Safety is of course the number one priority when you leave your pet in the care of a sitter. Whether is medication or walks twice a day I am very diligent and mindful of keeping track of all aspects of sitting! I will discuss any concerns you have before your departure and will always be available for texts/calls/etc.

“Diane took excellent care of my two pups during a last minute 5-day booking. Communication was outstanding. I received updates, pictures and videos while I was away. One of my dogs is a special needs case and they rose to the occasion, providing first-rate care. Dogs and I were very satisfied with their service!”

“Corena was fantastic! Her frequent updates with pictures were a great comfort! Knowing my pet was being well cared for was wonderful. Made my time away much more enjoyable and worry-free. Thank you, Corena for being there and taking care of my girl!”

“Christina was wonderful! She went above and beyond and always communicated in a timely manner. We will definitely book with her in the future.”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. I enjoy nothing more than caring for them and ensuring their happiness and safety. I’m currently a part time house-cleaner. I have plenty of time during the week/weekend to come hangout with your pets! I’m available during the afternoon and evenings. I have two cats of my own and two small dogs! They all get along great, but it wouldn’t be possible without a balanced routine.

“Patrick was great with our dog, Bentley! Our dog has separation anxiety so going away for trips is always a bit hard for us. Patrick was on time & communicative. I highly rec him.”

“Patrice was great! My dog sitter fell through a week and a half before we left for our vacation, and Patrice saved the day. My dogs took to her right away(this never happens), she was super responsive from the beginning, and was so good about sending pictures and information while we were gone. We will definitely be hiring her again in the future!”

About: My family has had 2 adorable large pups since 2020 since then I’ve trained, watched over, and cared for them. When my family is out of town I’m the first one they call to care for them as well as take them on long walks. As a junior in high school I was volunteering at an animal shelter and assisting in cleaning and caring needs for pets. I love animals and enjoy spending time to understand their needs and what they love to do! I can do anything from bathing, grooming, walking, watching, playing, etc. you name it I can do it! I do live with 1 cat and 1 small dog at the moment so any care needed is preferred to be done at customers residence. I am free anytime from 9am-7pm for walking. Overnight watching is super flexible I can arrive when needed and leave when needed. I’m a student and I’m home for the summer so I can be there! For dog walking I will walk anywhere from 10 minutes-an hour depending on customers needs. I am able to pet sit if that requires bathroom breaks, feeding, exercise, bathing, cleaning, and playing I can do it. I will always treat the animals with respect and consider their needs when caring for them. Im here to make them comfortable.

“Leaha was great with our monster puppy. She took lots of pictures and updated me often. So glad we found her!”

“Blake came to my house, on time, to watch my best friend Gizmo. Gizmo is a service dog and goes everywhere with me, but couldn’t go to a rock concert. This causes him to have extreme separation anxiety whenever we leave him with someone at home. Blake was excellent with Giz and got him to calm down after we left. Gizmo enjoyed 10 hours with his new best friend Blake. Would recommend Blake!”

“Autumn was absolutely amazing with your senior Siberian Husky. This was our first time using rover so we were a little nervous but Autumn went out of her way to make us comfortable. She met with us ahead of time and again before we left. She sent us daily updates, pics and videos. Our dog had some digestive issues and she took great cafe of all of it without hesitation! She left our home absolutely spotless. I would highly highly recommend Autumn.”

“Nikki was great!! Buddy and Ella just loved spending the weekend with her!! She was super responsive and helpful and extremely sweet! We will definitely be using her services again!! 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I don’t have formal pet-sitting experience, but I’ve grown up around animals my whole life. I currently have two dogs and three cats, and I’ve always helped take care of them, as well as pets in my family, especially when others were away. I’m comfortable with basic care, walks, feeding, and just spending time with animals in a calm, reliable way. I’m currently taking a gap year and working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have Bible studies on Friday and Saturday evenings, but I’m mostly free during the week. I’m available to house sit from Sunday through Thursday and can do drop-ins or walks throughout the week depending on timing. I’ll be caring for pets in their own homes or taking them on walks in safe, familiar areas like nearby parks if you would like. I always try to follow the pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I prefer working with animals that have mild or calm temperaments—basically, I’m good as long as the dog isn’t aggressive or likely to put my safety at risk.

8. Kate E.
“I’ve had the pleasure of watching Kate grow up and have seen her interactions with animals of all kinds and I can confidently say that she is one of the most compassionate and dependable animal caregivers I know. Kate has a natural connection with animals that’s truly special. She has loved and cared for her own dog for over 8 years, giving her first-hand experience in the day-to-day responsibilities and joys of pet ownership. In addition to that, she has assisted me (also a Rover sitter) with a variety of pet sits — from energetic puppies to senior dogs — across all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Her calm demeanor and attentive care always put both pets and their owners at ease. Beyond traditional pet sitting, Kate also spent a summer working on Mackinac Island where she was responsible for caring for and leading a team of horses, performing carriage tours and providing taxi services on the island — a true testament to her versatility, strength, and love for animals of all kinds. Kate is reliable, kind-hearted, and genuinely committed to the well-being of every animal in her care. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her as their sitter!”
