About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!

About: - I've grown up with three dogs and have trained all of them from their puppy ages - I can help administer medication whether it's in pill or liquid form - I can help take care pets with illness that need more attention and special care I'm currently working from home Tuesdays - Fridays and have the space to watch your fur baby while you're out. I know from personal experience how hard it can be to leave your pet at home all day so I would like to help others feel comfortable about leaving their pet to go to work or vacation! As for a pet friendly environment, I have a fenced in dog park at my apartment complex that I can take your fur baby to. There are also long walking trails near me I can take them on. One thing to mention is that I have a small Maltipoo male with me that I've raised since he was a puppy, and he's so friendly with all dogs. Your dog will have a play mate or if you'd rather your pet be separate from other animals, arrangements can be made to accommodate you and your pet!

About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! “Jenna did a wonderful job taking care of my Standard Poodle. After our meet and greet where I met Jenna, her husband and 2 dogs I felt they were an attentive and dog loving and dog centered family. I really appreciated their fenced yard and their flexibility and understanding that my dog was not perfectly trained, she still jumps and does not go for walks calmly. It was clear that Jenna's family was going to provide the same loving attention and lots of activity (playing with their dogs) my dog receives at home. Jenna was responsive when we communicated, she would answer within a few minutes. She sent pictures and updates. I could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog and I will definitely use them again in the future. My dog was happy and well cared for by Jenna!”
