From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly thorough—asking every important question and answering all of ours with patience and clarity. We instantly felt at ease leaving our 9-year-old Apollo in her care. She was always extremely responsive, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating to both Apollo's needs and ours (including bringing in mail and packages). Our home was left spotless and tidy. The daily updates were a highlight—multiple photos and messages each day showing Apollo happily running in the yard, playing indoors, getting tons of cuddles, and smiling with his chompers lol. Seeing how content and loved he was allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our family vacation without a single worry! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled (leaving us stuck in airports for an extra 30 hours), Carissa immediately and graciously agreed to stay an additional night. Knowing Apollo was in such capable, caring hands made a stressful travel day, much easier. Carissa's professionalism, genuine love for dogs, and thoughtful attention to detail made our trip better than we could have hoped. We've never felt more comfortable or at peace leaving our senior pup with anyone else. She is now our first and only choice for future sittings! Thank you, Carissa—you're phenomenal! ♥️”

Whether it's morning feedings, midday walks, or evening check-ins, I can easily fit pet care into my routine without any conflict. In caring for pets at clients' homes, I prioritize creating a comfortable and familiar environment for them. I follow a detailed routine based on your pet’s specific needs, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions. I ensure that their living space remains clean and safe, and I offer plenty of attention and enrichment to keep them happy. I also maintain open communication with you to update you on how your pet is doing and address any concerns promptly. My goal is to provide seamless, loving care that makes your pet feel as comfortable as possible while you're away.

“From the very first meeting with Sarah, our Mocha was so enamored with her! They got along well, and I'm sure our Mocha enjoyed Sarah's young energy, which we, as owners, don't have so much of any longer. :) There were a couple of scheduling glitches, but overall we were very happy. About: I have been caring for animals my entire life, with experience ranging from dogs, cats, and rabbits to ferrets, birds, hamsters, and all kinds of farm animals. I also grew up maintaining a 400-gallon fish tank that included a wide variety of fish and even small freshwater sharks, giving me a strong understanding of aquatic care. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I believe every pet is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have raised two very active 100+ lb German Shepherd/Lab mixes since they were puppies, so I am confident handling large, high-energy dogs. Despite my size, I am fully capable of managing and guiding strong animals safely and effectively. I am happy to assist with all aspects of pet care, including long walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I am also comfortable caring for pets of all ages and administering medications when needed (with prior instructions). Additionally, I have long-term experience(10+ years) caring for a Bengal cat with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which has given me hands-on experience with specialized care and medication routines. I am currently a student at Central Michigan University and work part-time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I am available for both daytime visits and overnight stays in your home. I strongly believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I strive to maintain their routine while providing consistent care and companionship. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved being around them. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors care for their dogs—whether that meant daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or watching them in my own home. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and currently don’t have any pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days and times, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m able to accommodate last-minute requests, recurring walks, and longer stays. I’m reliable, responsive, and can adjust to your dog’s routine as needed. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and make sure dogs are always supervised while outside. I currently don’t have other pets in my home, so your dog will have a calm environment and my full attention. I also have reliable transportation and can safely transport dogs if needed. While I don’t keep a crate on hand, I’m happy to accommodate one if you provide it and can easily transport it when necessary.

Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people. Yushonda instilled trust not only in Mara but also us. Without her, we would have not been able to have gone on our trip and been able to see family, relax, and be at ease. “Lauren is amazing and we highly recommend her! My husband and I traveled eight nights out of country and she took great care of our special needs senior pets. Our dog is a corgi mix who is going on 12, with Cushings. In addition our dog developed Bell's palsy just before we left, so that added a degree of challenge. Our cat is going on 14 and has a very serious heart condition that required medication several times a day. She was took great care of both of them. This was not an easy pet sitting situation and she was gracious and communicated wonderfully. I am so thankful for Lauren and I would not hesitate to have her take care of our pets again.”

I have some experience administering/providing medication for pets as well. I always love them like my own and give them all the TLC while you’re gone. 🥰 Since I am trying to do pet sitting more full-time now, I will have plenty of time daily to play and care for your pets! I’m available for overnight pet sitting or daily drop ins/walks. :) I am unable to board pets in my home, but more than happy to care for your babies in your home. I am fully respectful of your space and aim to leave it cleaner than when I arrived. I personally think that keeping your pets in your home and the environment they live in allows them to be much more comfortable while you’re away.
