About: Hello! I'm Melody! I'm a mother to 4, an Esthetician and an avid animal lover. I have owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life and have pet sat for friends and family over the years. I have experience with large breed and high energy dogs (German shepherd, malinois, Doberman, Australian Shepherd etc) as well as medium and small breeds (Chihuahua, pugs, pointers, bullies, scotties etc). I am well versed with puppies, potty training and leash training. I'm comfortable with friendly cats and respectful of shy cats. Additionally I have some experience with fresh and salt water fish tanks, rats, hamsters, rabbits and some reptiles. I have a routine schedule that allows me to be prompt and reliable. Your pet is in loving, patient hands with me. I only work part time and my kids are getting older and more independent. My schedule is open 4 days a week to help pet owners and make some new furry friends I am available to care for pets in their home, where they are most comfortable and have everything they need. I enjoy getting out for walks and light exercise. For owners with a fenced yard, I'm happy to play with your pup outside, tossing a ball or a game of tag. I follow all instructions provided and address all needs (feeding, water, play/exercise, waste clean up, medications, treats, training etc.). And, of course, I make sure to spend some extra time with pets who enjoy attention and affection.

About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! I have recently moved to the Howell area and live in an apartment, however my complex is super dog friendly and my apartment has a big (unfenced) yard behind it (would have to keep your dogs leashed if they’re boarded here) with many trails! I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!

About: I have taken care of all different kinds of dogs and cats since I was young. I volunteered at an animal shelter for one year in Denver and supported the shelter with socializing recently rescued stray cats. I helped manage the health needs of both my senior dog and cat when they got older. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to care for their furry friends!
