About: I have been taken care of dogs and cats for almost as long as I can remember. I have been a reliable person for friends and family when they need someone to watch their pets. I have the availability to stay at the house or just do daily drop ins. I am currently job hunting and available whenever I'm needed. I occasionally help my sister with her kids and a family friend clean her house, but I am able to work around those. I have the availability to keep your fur babies company overnight, for the day, or whatever is needed. I am open and know my schedule ahead of time.

Whether your dog is high-energy, a little nervous around new people, or just needs a steady routine, I adjust to what they need rather than running a one-size-fits-all walk. You can expect clear communication before and after every visit, so you always know exactly how things went. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog groomer in Okemos! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have two geckos! I have shown cows and sheep at the county fair, so don’t worry if you have a large dog that likes to pull or play tug of war! I worked at an animal shelter dealing with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I hang out with my siblings often who also have dogs, a cane corso and two elkhound mixes, and we’ve had labs and pomeranians in the past. I have experience giving oral/topical medications to dogs, cats, sheep, and cows. I am also open to taking care of any other pets or farm animals you may have! I work 4-5 days a week at Dog Gone Fun in Okemos. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask! I have cared for a variety of dogs- different breeds, all ages, all temperaments. I grew up with dogs my whole life (among other animals), and I have learned a lot from my experiences about how to read an animals body language.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I had a shih-tzu that I raised and currently have an alaskan klee kai that is my soul dog. I LOVE both dogs and cats, they are such a light in this world. My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! I know I may not have experience on this app specifically, but I have lots of experience in real life and I would be a great fit for your needs! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I can go back to college, and my friend suggested I check out rover, which I LOVE the idea of! I will also be moving to Lansing very soon! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, feed and water them, play with them, snuggle on them, give them medication, whatever you need I can do as long as it’s safe to do it! About: As a user of Rover for the past two years, I know whole-heartedly the feeling of panic when logistics do not permit the fur-baby to come with. As things are shifting in my life, I would love to provide a sense of ease to those who WISH their pup could come with. Animal behavior and training has been a fascinating field to dig into! Building trusting and positive relationships with animals has been a major life-shaping experience for me. On a personal note - I work full-time from home as an IT consultant. I love getting out in the mountains as much as possible. Eldy (my pup) and I have done countless backpacking trips through Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Michigan and Florida.
