“Cheyenne is absolutely fantastic! I have her take care of my puppy on a regular basis while I work and I couldn't be happier with the work she does! She always lets me know what happens when she visits, is extremely reliable, is flexible to work with my schedule, and I always come home to a happy puppy. I'd recommend her to anyone! ?”
“Kimberly did a great job. She was prompt and kept me well informed on how my babies were doing, including photos. I would highly recommend her services and I would definitely schedule her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I had a shih-tzu that I raised and currently have an alaskan klee kai that is my soul dog. I LOVE both dogs and cats, they are such a light in this world. My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! I know I may not have experience on this app specifically, but I have lots of experience in real life and I would be a great fit for your needs! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I can go back to college, and my friend suggested I check out rover, which I LOVE the idea of! I will also be moving to Lansing very soon! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, feed and water them, play with them, snuggle on them, give them medication, whatever you need I can do as long as it’s safe to do it! Thank you for your consideration:)

About: Along with a lifetime of owning and loving my own pets, I spent five years working at a veterinary clinic and I’m extremely comfortable handling animals of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read behavior, stay calm, and make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I’m patient, compassionate, and confident working with pets who may be shy, energetic, or still learning. Being around animals has been a big part of my daily life for years, and I truly enjoy giving them the attention and care they need. I’m currently between jobs, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to focus fully on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m able to build my day around their routine so they get consistent attention and care. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow your feeding schedule, walk times, and any special instructions you have. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and calm companionship so they feel secure while you’re away. I also keep the home tidy, check water, and send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I have experience caring for pets who need medication or extra attention due to illness. My five years at a veterinary clinic gave me a lot of hands‑on exposure to animals with different medical needs, so I’m comfortable following instructions, staying calm, and making sure they get the care they need to feel safe and happy.
“Ashley was so great with our pups! The dogs got into something before she visited & she was so helpful getting their mess cleaned up. We are grateful for Ashley!”

“Very happy I found and hired Karen. She put my mind at ease having her care for my Bella baby. Bonus is that she's a retired RN. She really cares for the pets she takes care of and treats them as if they're her own. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: I have been taken care of dogs and cats for almost as long as I can remember. I have been a reliable person for friends and family when they need someone to watch their pets. I have the availability to stay at the house or just do daily drop ins. I am currently job hunting and available whenever I'm needed. I occasionally help my sister with her kids and a family friend clean her house, but I am able to work around those. I have the availability to keep your fur babies company overnight, for the day, or whatever is needed. I am open and know my schedule ahead of time.

About: I’ve had pets all my life, dogs and cats. I know what it takes to put trust in someone else for their care, I can be that person. I’m recently laid off and have decided I’d rather my time be spent caring for your animals. I love long walks, playtime, and routine. Give me a call! I love my home and my pets, that is my life. When stepping into your home and caring for your pet, I promise to provide the same love and care as though it’s my own. I’m honest, reliable, and respectful.
“Taylor is a wonderful pet-sitter!! She genuinely loves animals and my puppy loves her! Peace of mind and my puppy’s safety is what makes Taylor a top choice as a sitter.”

About: Caring for pets has been an integral and rewarding part of my life, yielding a robust skillset perfectly suited for in-home animal care. My comprehensive experience, which includes fostering over 20 dogs and working directly at an animal rescue, has equipped me with exceptional proficiency in behavioral observation, managing specialized routines, and quickly establishing trust with animals in a new or private setting. My expertise spans various temperaments and breeds, from high-energy puppies requiring consistent training and socialization to elderly cats needing patient, gentle handling and comfort. I am highly comfortable providing detailed, individualized care. I pride myself on my ability to quickly understand an animal's non-verbal cues and maintain their sense of routine and security within the comfort of their own home, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being remains the absolute top priority while providing clear, professional communication to their owners. My current commitments and demands provide me an ideal schedule that will allow for me to focus on providing quality in-home care care to your furry family members. My goal is to provide a worry-free experience for you while you are away. Daily Updates: I send regular updates (usually after each key visit) via text or a preferred app. These updates include photos and/or videos so you can see your pet happy and healthy. Detailed Log: I maintain a log noting the time of feeding, walks, potty breaks (and noting any unusual stools), and medication given. This ensures consistency for multi-day bookings and provides a record for the owner. Immediate Notification: In the unlikely event of any noticeable change in behavior, appetite, or health, I contact the owner immediately, following the pre-arranged emergency protocol. In short, I treat your pets and your home with the passion, consistency, and respect I would give my own family
“Wonderful and thorough care. I never worried about my boy while gone for a week. She anticipated needs even I did not (full litter box change) and went above and beyond in other ways as well. She sends lots of updates which was a comfort while away. She cared for my boy cat Zissou as if her own. 1000% recommend! She will be who I use for any future needs.”

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog bather in Okemos! I am also going to grooming school, and set to graduate in September! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have a gecko! I have shown cows and sheep at the county fair, so don’t worry if you have a large dog that likes to pull or play tug of war! I worked at an animal shelter dealing with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I hang out with my siblings often who also have dogs, a cane corso and two elkhound mixes, and we’ve had labs and pomeranians in the past. I have bathed, trimmed nails, and given oral/topical medications to dogs, cats, sheep, and cows. I am also open to taking care of any other pets or farm animals you may have! I work two to three days a week at Dog Gone Fun in Okemos, and do three days of school at Animal Crackers in Hartland. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask! I have cared for a variety of dogs- different breeds, all ages, all temperaments. I grew up with dogs my whole life (among other animals), and I have learned a lot from my experiences about how to read an animals body language.

“She is a very nice young lady and appears to be very reliable and sharp. Her parents did well. We are looking forward to having her stay with our Lucy and Lola on a regular basis as it fits her schedule.”

About: I grew up with golden retrievers and have watched neighbor’s pets since I was 14. I just recently graduated from veterinary school and am waiting to start my job. I can handle basic at home medical care for your pets and can catch signs of illness to bring to your attention. Your pets are in good hands! My class schedule changes daily, but I am available most afternoons during the week and am available most weekends. Please just let me know when care is needed and I will try to figure it out. I cannot board any animals as I have my own cat who can be wary of new animals in the home, but I am happy to stay at your home if needed.
