I currently work 8am to 5pm from Mondays to Fridays with weekends off. Most pets would be able to handle being alone for 8 hours at least. I live in a home with my parents for temporary housing. About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog groomer in Okemos! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have two geckos! I have shown cows and sheep at the county fair, so don’t worry if you have a large dog that likes to pull or play tug of war! I worked at an animal shelter dealing with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I hang out with my siblings often who also have dogs, a cane corso and two elkhound mixes, and we’ve had labs and pomeranians in the past. I have experience giving oral/topical medications to dogs, cats, sheep, and cows. I am also open to taking care of any other pets or farm animals you may have! I work 4-5 days a week at Dog Gone Fun in Okemos. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask! I have cared for a variety of dogs- different breeds, all ages, all temperaments. I grew up with dogs my whole life (among other animals), and I have learned a lot from my experiences about how to read an animals body language.

About: I’m a mom to 3 kiddos and 2 big fur babies. I work from home as an insurance agent and love snuggling and playing with my pups. I have always had an animal in my home and am very patient with animals. Prior to becoming an insurance agent I worked in direct care for 15+ years. I am compassionate and loving and truly care about all living creatures. I work from home, and have the flexibility to clock in and out as needed. I can be available anytime and work within your pups schedule. I have a fence in backyard and two loving babies who will keep your pup company. I can also keep my dogs in a separate area of the home and allow your dog to run freely if they don’t do as well with others. I am clean and considerate and will always love on your baby like I love on mine.

About: Not only have I grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, I have extensive dog sitting experience. Throughout all 4 years of college (and beyond), I dog sat for a family with 3 dogs of various sizes. They travel a lot, so I often stay at their house for days/weeks at a time. Additionally, I volunteer at the local animal shelter so I spend a lot of time caring for the shelter pups as well! I have a pretty consistent schedule! I work remote every weekday except for Tuesday, so I'm available all day on those days as well as the weekends. Tuesdays I work in the office from 8-4, but I have the ability to leave and let the dog(s) out during my lunch break at around noon. When I'm house sitting, my number one priority is that the pet is as comfortable as possible. I try to keep the same routines that they are used to doing with their person. Additionally, if I'm staying in someone's home for a prolonged period of time, I always make sure to respect their space and leave it looking better than I found it!
