About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog groomer in Okemos! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have two geckos! From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently working part-time Monday 9am-5pm, and every other Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-7pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. Growing up, I naturally took care of many pets and enjoyed ensuring their happiness and well-being. I have previously worked with clients on an informal basis, handling pet care as favors or small jobs, so I have some experience in the field. While I am new to this platform, I am committed to providing high quality service to all of my clients and to making this a positive and meaningful experience. Please give me the opportunity to care for your pet and I promise they will be safe and well looked after! 💖✨ - - - Services I offer: • House sitting (My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles.) • Dog walking (30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day.) • Drop-ins (30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away.) I am available mostly on Mondays through Fridays. So typically all weekday but I can work with you and work on weekends depending on the said request. Just let me know what you’re looking for and we can negotiate! I typically wake up in the morning and don’t sleep too late as well 💖 I believe that safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for the client are some of the most important aspects of responsible caregiving. When it comes to safety, I ensure that I carefully listen to all instructions and information provided to thoroughly prioritize your pet's well-being. Regarding trust and environment, I arrange meet and greets prior to bookings or scheduled dates with new clients to help your beloved pet become familiar with me and build trust naturally, reducing stress and fear when the time comes. I also stay within settings where your pet feels most comfortable, or I may take them to a nearby park to give your pet a chance to explore and enjoy. Ultimately, it’s all based on your preferences. 💖
About: I was a long time dog owner before my best friend Murphy passed away. Have owned cats even longer. Not ready for a new dog yet myself but would love to help out you and your fur babies! I work M-F 9-6 but with lunch hours I can drop in at a reasonable time during the day typically. Also have a side gig on the weekends but happy to work with you on a schedule we can all agree to! I trained my last dog from a puppy to an adult, with a real calming presence and patience to help. Also familiar with giving medication to cats and dogs alike

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. Family and friends have never hesitated to trust me as their dog sitter! I’m able to work with any dog or cat, whether that be puppies and kittens or your senior animal! I’m currently earning my master’s degree in Athletic Training, so I pet sit while I complete my program. My schedule is pretty open and flexible, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and care. About: I have experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also rabbits and other tiny critters. I worked at a kennel so I have worked with a great variety of dogs, big and small, old and young. I have experience with giving medication as well as bathing and training dogs. Because of my kennel experience, I am not afraid of any size dog, even if they are on the more aggressive and energetic side. I have studied pet behavior and understand where my boundaries are and I will never overstep their boundaries. I want the animals under my care to feel as comfortable with me as possible. I am currently a full-time college student at Grand Valley State, so I am unable to offer full-time services. I am mainly looking for weekend work butt will still accept certain hours during the week. I live in an apartment, so boarding at my home is not an option due to pet limitations. But I am more than willing to care for my clients pets in their home!

About: Dogs have always been a part of our family, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. Over the past 15 years, we’ve shared our home with four dogs, including caring for three into their senior years through age-related and chronic health conditions. We’ve also raised a litter of puppies, giving us experience with young dogs and the extra patience, attention, and consistency they require.
