About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a 5yeat old ferret, a 2 year ferret, 9 cats, and a rabbit. In the recent past, I worked as stall cleaner for a lady who just needed help taking care of her horses. This gave me a new perspective on a lot of things such as sometimes people just need a little help and it is okay to ask for that! I also am experienced with giving medications and supplements to animals. I am very interested in dog training so your dogs will get some free training as I am sure I will be practicing any new techniques I learn with my clients! Recently I joint the Ingham Township Fire Department in Dansville as a volunteer firefighter and I take pride in any work that I do wether it’s in an emergency or it is just for fun! Pet Care is what I want to do as a full time job. I love what I do. Please see my calendar or check with me on my availability for specific dates and times. I always treat others pets as my own. I interact with them with patience, gentleness and love. I only use positive reinforcement. I am an active person and love to play ball and go for walks, but I also love to cuddle with any furry friends. Pets are family! I am very flexible and very understanding. I will work with my schedule to meet your needs and your pets needs! I love daily snuggles and love to exercise:) I have a big yard and behind me is thousands of acres of state land to go for an adventure with your fur babies like I do mine.
“Brooke was amazing to work with! From the moment that Brooke met Bruny pup for the meet-and-greet, through the time that she stopped in for dogwalking and to ensure that he was taken care of during longer work days, Brooke helped me feel like my dog was totally fine, cared for, and having fun. Brooke is a great communicator, too. I would not hesitate to reach out to Brooke for help, again.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15 for family and friends. I have watched all types of dogs, large, small, young, and old as well as some cats. I am an active person that enjoys exercise but I also love nature so I can go at whatever speed your dog prefers. I am a graduate student at MSU so I keep a busy schedule, but I will always find time for your pets and treat them as my own! Although I am not certified I have trained my own dogs and can adjust to whatever level of obedience you are looking to attain. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary so I have experience with all kinds of animals besides just cats and dogs. I would love to be able to assist you with any of the services I can provide for your furry friends! I am a graduate student so I do have classes during the fall and spring term and MSU employs me part-time as a teaching assistant. I do have availability inside and outside the working hours of the day depending on the day of the week during classes. In the summers, I currently work on research for MSU but have flexible scheduling to fit your pet care needs. I am a detail-oriented person and will care for your pets exactly the way you would in your own home. I also will treat your home as if it was my own and clean up after myself and your pets, and make sure your house is safe and secure while you are gone. I will be happy to take care of your pets and make sure they are well-taken care of until you return!
“Madelyn is great with Dolce my Newfie. She comes a few times a week. Always sends pictures and feel assured my pup is getting great care when I work long shifts. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I had a shih-tzu that I raised and currently have an alaskan klee kai that is my soul dog. I LOVE both dogs and cats, they are such a light in this world. My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! I know I may not have experience on this app specifically, but I have lots of experience in real life and I would be a great fit for your needs! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I can go back to college, and my friend suggested I check out rover, which I LOVE the idea of! I will also be moving to Lansing very soon! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, feed and water them, play with them, snuggle on them, give them medication, whatever you need I can do as long as it’s safe to do it! Thank you for your consideration:)
“She has been amazing with Charlie! There was one day Charlie was choking a bit, and she reached out to let me know right away. She shows up every scheduled day on time! I know Charlie loves his walks with her.”

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s routine. I’m a dependable, structured sitter who understands that pets do best when they feel safe, calm, and cared for—just like at home. As a busy mom managing a full household, I naturally bring consistency, patience, and attention to detail into everything I do—including pet care. I’m especially great with dogs who: • prefer routine • have a little anxiety • need calm, steady energy You can expect: ✔ timely communication ✔ daily photo + message updates ✔ a clean, safe, low-stress environment ✔ someone who treats your pet like family—but with structure I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, and I take that seriously. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m currently working remotely so I’ll have plenty of companionship for your pet. I walk often myself so I’d be happy to exercise with your pet as well. I have a large yard that is unfenced. I’m open to coming to your home as well. I also have two daughters that are dog lovers that can’t wait to play with and love on your pets!

About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid I would help out friend, family members, and neighbors with their pets. I've had a lot of experience caring for all sorts of animals through means of daily check-in's, going on walks, and overnight stays! I am currently a student at MSU with a somewhat flexible schedule during the week and I am available in mornings on saturday and sundays, I am also available sunday nights. I live with two dogs who would definitely keep your dog some very friendly company, they also love cats as well! I love taking my own dog on walks and there is a nice little park very close to my house that I love to walk my dog to.

“Beanie loves Kenzie! She is super reliable and on time even when it’s been days with crappy weather. Plus, she always gets the cutest, derpiest photo of Beanie for the walk card which makes me smile when I see it after their walk!”
About: I was a long time dog owner before my best friend Murphy passed away. Have owned cats even longer. Not ready for a new dog yet myself but would love to help out you and your fur babies! I work M-F 9-6 but with lunch hours I can drop in at a reasonable time during the day typically. Also have a side gig on the weekends but happy to work with you on a schedule we can all agree to! I trained my last dog from a puppy to an adult, with a real calming presence and patience to help. Also familiar with giving medication to cats and dogs alike
About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, from small ones to, well, for lack of a better word, titan ones. While I have not necessarily trained or cared for puppies, I have cared for dogs who were very very young. I am in between jobs right now and I enjoy finding excuses to spend time with animals, no matter what species they are. I have finished this semester's classes already and am open to any manner of dates to watch a mutt, feline or lizard. I have 2 cats that live with me at the moment but other than that, I have a modest living area, but I do not have a fence on the property.

About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.
About: I grew up with a chocolate lab, 2 cats, and currently have my own cat. I miss dogs, so this will help me fill the hole for now! I’m currently working full time, but looking for some side gigs to start saving for a house with my husband! Recently got married this month! I take care of other people’s pets like my own, pets are family and they need to be treated as such. All treated with love and care.

“Sarah really helped me out by walking my dog while I recovered from surgery. My dog Cady really loved her and Sarah was on time each day and so good with my dog. I’ll be using her service again when needed.”
About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I currently am living with my mother and we have two dogs. One is a senior lab, Rosco, with two torn ACLs who requires love and extra care when we are home. The other is a husky mix, who has a very bad skin allergy that requires daily oral medication and baths twice a week. I have dog sat for small dogs and big dogs. My services involves walks, playing, and lots of love. I enjoy being a dog sitter because well, I just love dogs and giving them time attention and time they need while there owner is away. I have watched dogs as little as a Yorkie terrier and as big as a St. Bernard. Size is not an issue for me at all. Please message me if you have any questions.
