When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

About: I have been taken care of dogs and cats for almost as long as I can remember. I have been a reliable person for friends and family when they need someone to watch their pets. I have the availability to stay at the house or just do daily drop ins. I am currently job hunting and available whenever I'm needed. I occasionally help my sister with her kids and a family friend clean her house, but I am able to work around those. I have the availability to keep your fur babies company overnight, for the day, or whatever is needed. I am open and know my schedule ahead of time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I had a shih-tzu that I raised and currently have an alaskan klee kai that is my soul dog. I LOVE both dogs and cats, they are such a light in this world. My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! I know I may not have experience on this app specifically, but I have lots of experience in real life and I would be a great fit for your needs! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I can go back to college, and my friend suggested I check out rover, which I LOVE the idea of! I will also be moving to Lansing very soon! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, feed and water them, play with them, snuggle on them, give them medication, whatever you need I can do as long as it’s safe to do it! About: Neighbors have relied on me to walk, dog sit, play with and bathe their dogs since I was 15, I am trustworthy and love all types of dogs! We are active people, so we are always ready to walk, throw a ball, play frisbee with your pet, our dog would love a furry friend to play with! I work 12 hour shifts/3x a week, so I am available for a varying 4 days each week. 3 available weekends a month. My husband is available 3 days each week, as we co-dog sit. We have a fenced in yard to keep your pup safe, an extremely friendly 2 year old brittany spaniel who is always looking for a friend to play with, and a dog proofed home free of clutter and small objects.

About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! I love and treat my pets as if they were family and plan to do the same for your fur babies! I‘ve cat sat for my aunt and uncle and have pet sat for my friends and family as well as past clients on rover, and have worked on a farm in the past caring for horses, barn kitties and dogs. I really enjoy caring for all animals and i’m looking forward to care for yours as if they were my own! I’m a fast learner and very dependable so if your pets need any special treatments you could just let me know and show me how you approach it and I will do the same! My late St. Bernard was on heart medication so I know how to trick even the stubbornest dogs to take their pills or eat if they’re old and don’t have much of an appetite as they used to. I have recently moved to the Howell area and live in an apartment, however my complex is super dog friendly and my apartment has a big (unfenced) yard behind it (would have to keep your dogs leashed if they’re boarded here) with many trails! I’m looking forward to hearing from you and taking care of your furry friends 😊🐾 My schedule is very open for the summer, since I’m on summer break before I begin student teaching in late August. I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!

About: In our home every dog is a priority to us. We schedule activities around their needs and energy levels. We love to play outside, go for walks around our neighborhood and snuggle before bed. Our puppy is very high energy and loves to make new friends. The dogs will be in a safe environment, with a fenced yard, and will be given a bed time snack! We allow animals on all furniture within our home and in our bed to sleep at night, we also have a pallet dog bed available in our room. About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.

In the past our family had a Brittany Spaniel named Sydney and a Maltese named Jeter. You can’t be too careful and sometimes an animals’ “signs” for need or distress can be quite subtle. So I never just pop in and out, but rather I facilitate well-visits! That means carefully following your detailed instructions and care notes. I always welcome as much input from you, along with a Meet and Greet prior to caring for your fur babies, so you can introduce us, help create trust, and provide me with the important details of your day-to-day routine. This helps me to best provide routine and structure (mixed with lots of spoiling and extra treats) for your little ones. I’m Jack and I stay home to take care of my family. I live in the country with a big yard and I love animals. My girlfriend walks and takes care of animals by my side.
