1. Alexandria S.

“Alexandria is great with our two very different dogs! Herbie is older and loud and Lola is young and energetic but quiet. Even in the current deep freeze she got them out for me (despite Herbie’s protests)! Thank you 😊”

2. Danielle G.
“Danielle is an incredibly caring and responsible caregiver, and she will care for your pets like they were her own. She can give your dog their medication, crate them if that’s what you need, let them out, play with them, feed and water them, almost anything you need, she’ll be able to do. If you give her a shot, you will not be disappointed!”

3. Breanna W.

“Breanna was awesome, told me exactly what Joey did and did not do. And she was a very happy girl!”

About: Sienna, my Vizsla-lab mix, has been an enriching and important part of my family for over thirteen years. She’s been with us since she was a puppy in California to moving across the country here to Howell, Michigan. She is quite the Velcro dog, and she sometimes needs extra reassurance doing basic activities like going for a walk, getting a shower, eating, and drinking water. Now that she’s an elderly dog, modifications have been made for her such as helping her up the stairs or keeping her bed on the main floor so the climb up the stairs isn’t too strenuous on the joints. My dog’s anxiety and old age have equipped me better to care for dogs with extra care needs. My cat Teddy has been with us for almost four years now! As a kitten, she hid up underneath a friend’s car and survived the drive all the way to volleyball practice. When she was discovered, my sister and I eagerly took her in. Throughout my life, I have owned a variety of other animals including fish, bunnies, guinea pigs, and now hermit crabs. I love all animals whether they’re big or small, cute or ugly, young or old. <3 I’m currently working part time and attending college part-time, but I will still have plenty of time to play with your dog or cat! I am very flexible time-wise for whatever is most convenient for you and your furry friend! I have used a leash for multiple large breeds for bathroom breaks/walks with no problem. I will bring a treat outside with me if the dog is known to be reluctant to return inside and doesn’t require a leash (electric fence, etc). Cats in my home are strictly indoors.

5. Annelie S.

“Annelie is absolutely fabulous. She took such great care of our dogs. I always feel uncomfortable leaving my dogs but I felt very comfortable knowing that Annelie was taking care of them. She sent wonderful detailed notes and lots of pictures.”

6. Rachael J.
“Rachael is a very caring and responsible petsitter. She is patient and has a good energy around all animals. My cat who is not very socialized warmed up to Rachael in a very short amount of time. I am very comfortable leaving my furbabies in her care, she goes above and beyond to make them happy and feel loved while I am away!”

7. Sean C.
About: I have been trusted with caring for dogs that have some specific needs or concerns to watch out for. For example, one of my brothers dog’s will (occasionally) detrimentally licks her left paw till there is a wound because she has a lot of anxiety. So when I pet sit for him I have to mindful and aware of her behavior so she is ok. This an example of how I pay close attention to detail with your loved ones, as if they were my own pup or other pet. Caring for my little guy is an important part of my daily routine. I start my day with taking Ollie outside, then his breakfast. I make sure to get him outside at least 4-5 times a day with him (minimum). He also gets a hip supplement and dental chew as apart of his morning routine and dinner is around 6-7pm depending on when we wake up. My apartment is well located near downtown Howell, this provides many different options I can either walk to or drive in 5 minutes or less. It gives Ollie and I (and your dog(s) too!) plenty of variety for exercise and fun.

8. Courtney Y.
About: In our home every dog is a priority to us. We schedule activities around their needs and energy levels. We love to play outside, go for walks around our neighborhood and snuggle before bed. Our puppy is very high energy and loves to make new friends. The dogs will be in a safe environment, with a fenced yard, and will be given a bed time snack! We allow animals on all furniture within our home and in our bed to sleep at night, we also have a pallet dog bed available in our room. We are available most nights and weekends and are willing to keep your pup for an extended period of time. We would love schedule a day to meet you and your dog soon!

9. Emma S.

“Emma is the best of the best! She is great with my rambunctious dogs and truly loves what she does. If you're looking for a dog walker in the Howell area, look no further, because you've found her!”

10. Karlysse R.
“Karlysse has watched my dog in my home several times for me when I've gone out of town to visit family. She is professional, kind, compassionate and cares for my dog like he's her own. She provides daily updates (and pictures!) on all the adventures they have while I am away and it leaves me feeling relaxed knowing my dog is in safe, capable hands.”

11. Sarah R.
“Sarah has been our pet sitter for many years. We have 3 dogs and a cat, all with very specific needs. We have a geriatric dog who wonders off, a Great Dane who is neurotic, and a 100lb chocolate lab that loves to play. Between feeding and medicating all the animals, walking and playing with them, and keeping them happy while we are away, Sarah has had her hands full. But she does it all with ease and love. She even sends us videos of them while we’re gone. And when we get home, all our fur babies are happy and healthy. I would recommend Sarah to anyone looking for someone to love and care for your dogs while you’re away. If she’s available, snatch her!!!”

12. Amie E.
“Amie has been our pet sitter several times and has demonstrated to be trustworthy and a wonderful pet sitter. She’s gentle and loving to our cats and our cats love her.”

16. Kylie D.
About: HI! I was meant to be a fur baby mom as long as I can remember! I grew up in a home with babies of all shapes, sizes, and kinds; including bunnies, birds, turtles, cats, dogs, you name it we had it. I took on the responsibility of taking care of each pet we had, considering I was usually the one begging to get it in the first place. My heart belongs in the world of care, leading me to be a pet caretaker since I was very young, as well as a nanny and teacher for several years. I currently have my own fur babies and take great pride in being a rescue mom. I have rescued and rehabilitated 4 dogs, and numerous cats. These experiences gave me knowledge and skill in medication administration, wound care and maintenance, accident clean up, behavior management, patience, and so so much more. I currently have 1 sweet baby of my own (and would have more if I had the space!). Most of the loving companions I have worked with have been extremely medically complex and have truly shown me the love I carry in my heart. I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes, ranging from hamsters to 110 pound dogs! No matter the circumstances, in sickness and health, I can promise love, patience, and individualized care to any and all your little loves:) Pet care is truly what I live for. Between caring for other peoples babies as well as my own, I' incredibly fulfilled. I prioritize being able to give my best, individualized care to each pet I encounter and have made this my career while working my way through college. I follow an approach centered in treating each pet in my care as if they are my own. I keep to a structured, thorough routine to provide the most comfort possible. I have the most experience in behaviorally challenged animals and take pride in my patience and kindness I carry with me. Each and every pet has their own needs, personality, and desires and I work hard to honor those to the best of my ability to ensure happiness for all parties. I am a highly communicative person and work hard to be detail oriented, reliable, and put my best foot forward at all times.

Katelyn has shown great communication whenever she is watching my animals and my dogs love when they get to see her.”
