About: I am a 24 year old woman seeking to support myself by pursuing my passion for caring for animals. Growing up, I naturally took care of many pets and enjoyed ensuring their happiness and well-being. I have previously worked with clients on an informal basis, handling pet care as favors or small jobs, so I have some experience in the field. While I am new to this platform, I am committed to providing high quality service to all of my clients and to making this a positive and meaningful experience. Please give me the opportunity to care for your pet and I promise they will be safe and well looked after! 💖✨ - - - Services I offer: • House sitting (My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles.) • Dog walking (30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day.) • Drop-ins (30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away.) I am available throughout the week, except for Saturdays. I am a flexible professional who is happy to work with you to ensure your beloved pet receives exactly what is needed. I believe that safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for the client are some of the most important aspects of responsible caregiving. When it comes to safety, I ensure that I carefully listen to all instructions and information provided to thoroughly prioritize your pet's well-being. Regarding trust and environment, I arrange meet and greets prior to bookings or scheduled dates with new clients to help your beloved pet become familiar with me and build trust naturally, reducing stress and fear when the time comes. I also stay within settings where your pet feels most comfortable, or I may take them to a nearby park to give your pet a chance to explore and enjoy. Ultimately, it’s all based on your preferences. 💖
About: I have taken care of many neighbors and families pets. I have watched birds, cats, dogs, and other exotic animals such as hedge hogs, Bearded dragons and guinea pigs! I enjoy walking and playing with animals! I am currently working as a teacher full-time but I am deciding to step back for a while and change it up a bit! I would also love to focus on finishing my college degree as well! I live in an apartment that has a doggy park next to it. I can help train your puppy as I helped train my dogs when they were puppies!

About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and that hands-on experience is what I bring to every walk. I understand dog body language, pacing, leash manners, and how to read when a dog needs a break or a bit more activity — not from a course, but from years of actually living with dogs day to day. I treat every walk the same way I would for my own dog: attentive, on time, and focused entirely on their safety and comfort for the full duration. Whether your dog is high-energy, a little nervous around new people, or just needs a steady routine, I adjust to what they need rather than running a one-size-fits-all walk. You can expect clear communication before and after every visit, so you always know exactly how things went. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.
“We used Marissa for drop in feeds for our cat while we were out of town. She was great! Prompt, courteous and communicated with us regularly! Would definitely recommend and will use her again! Thanks Marissa!”

“Annelie was able to book on the last minute! Annelie was THE BEST she was very good with Cali, always on time, filled me in on how Cali was doing. She was very descriptive on how Cali was acting and uploaded many pictures. I will be using Annelie again!”

“Timber took care of our two cats while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond for us and them. Her daily reports and photos were the reason our vacation was as stress free as it was. She treated our two boys like family!”

About: We have a chihuahua mix at home but take care of our neighbors dogs too. Love a good dog walk and playtime! Enjoy cats and taking care of them as well. I have summers off so I am available during the week and some weekends as well. I can be available during most times and can’t wait to play with your pets! Drop in pet care service with no overnight abilities. Happy to stop by and feed, play, or walk your pet. Or just as simple as letting your dog out for a potty break if that is all you need.
“Amie has great communication, is thoughtful and thorough. Our cats really enjoy having her when we are away and seem very comfortable with her. We are always grateful when Amie is available to take care of our furry family! She's excellent every time!”
“We couldn't be happier with the care our dog received! From the moment we left, we knew our pup was in great hands. Our sitter was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we came home, our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It's such a relief to know there's someone we can completely trust with our furry family member. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our dog!”

“Cheyenne was a great pet sitter, and my cat absolutely loves her! She followed my instructions well and was very communicative and responsive, giving detailed updates and photos each day. I especially appreciated her flexibility when I had to change the booking due to travel issues.”

About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! I love and treat my pets as if they were family and plan to do the same for your fur babies! I‘ve cat sat for my aunt and uncle and have pet sat for my friends and family as well as past clients on rover, and have worked on a farm in the past caring for horses, barn kitties and dogs. I really enjoy caring for all animals and i’m looking forward to care for yours as if they were my own! I’m a fast learner and very dependable so if your pets need any special treatments you could just let me know and show me how you approach it and I will do the same! My late St. Bernard was on heart medication so I know how to trick even the stubbornest dogs to take their pills or eat if they’re old and don’t have much of an appetite as they used to. I have recently moved to the Howell area and live in an apartment, however my complex is super dog friendly and my apartment has a big (unfenced) yard behind it (would have to keep your dogs leashed if they’re boarded here) with many trails! I’m looking forward to hearing from you and taking care of your furry friends 😊🐾 My schedule is very open for the summer, since I’m on summer break before I begin student teaching in late August. I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!
“I am so happy Sara is on Rover! She has watched my cats and dogs for years. Knowing Sara is caring for my animals gives me peace of mind. She checks in on my girls while I am at work. I know my pets are safe with Sara. Just meeting her you can tell she truly loves animals! Penelope & Mille are so excited to see Sara again soon! Thanks, Sara!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fowlerville
Sara was amazing with our fur children! They are all very different personalities, but all of them are needy. They were so comfortable while we were away, that I’m not sure they missed us at all! And the photos she sent just let me know that they were being taken care of! The whole family appreciated seeing their happy faces and hearing about their antics! She went above and beyond when she agreed to attempt ear medicine with our kitten! Super Pet Servant Extraordinaire! Highly recommend her if you are in her service area! I have a dog and 2 cats.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fowlerville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
