About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog groomer in Okemos! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have two geckos! About: I’ve been a dog and cat girl my whole life. From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently looking for a part-time job, and I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is pretty much free besides Wednesdays but if I’m boarding I am available. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. The few trips I’ve taken were only possible because of caring neighbors that watched our cats/dog and sent lots of pictures for reassurance! ❤️ I am a rule-follower and will use your detailed directions to take care of your fur/feather/hair babies just as you describe! About: Hi! I’m an experienced animal caregiver with a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and a wide variety of other animals, including those with special needs or unique personalities. Being a wildlife rehabber for over a decade means I am accustomed to all species of animals and am familiar with proper handlling techniques, medical needs, dietary needs etc. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, medications, cleaning, enrichment, and providing plenty of individual attention. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and respect I give my own. I work during the day typically from 1230-2pm. Available any time after that to help however possible. I am available most days of the week. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely for feeding, medications, walks, enrichment, and household routines. I’m experienced with different personalities and temperaments, and I always take the time to let animals become comfortable with me at their own pace. I keep their environment clean and secure and provide plenty of attention while respecting each pet’s individual needs.
