About: I grew up and still live on a farm. I have kept dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, etc. throughout my life. I will care for your animals as if they were my own. I work from home and know how frustrating it can be to worry about your pets while on vacation. I will send photos and videos of your fur family while you're away so you can stay in touch while you're away. My preference is to care for your fur family in a comfortable environment, their normal home. I am happy to host your fur family in my home, but I already have 2 small dogs, so I think they would be more comfortable if I came to them.
About: I have had family pets for my whole life. Dogs and cats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I worked at a horse barn for over 2 years. My cat had passed away over a year ago from liver cancer. I am used to incorporating medicine in food, pills or even a syringe directing in the mouth. About: I have had plenty of animals of my own including but not limited to- cats, dogs, fish, lizards, turtles, birds, rabbits, chickens and other farm animals. I have house sat for many different types of families. Full farms, medically challenged pets, senior animals, young animals. I love them all dearly! I can do drop ins and walks before work from 6-7am, and after work 6-7pm. Weekends vary, summers are busy but I can make it work! Regarding my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have plenty of leashes and secured leads. We live on a slow dirt road. No pet, even mine, is ever outside unattended or unleashed. Regarding your home, I will follow whatever rules are laid out for me if I am caring for your animal in their space.
“I'm truly thankful to have met and hired Yushonda. I have watched over 100 dogs, and I mean it when I say she is a step above everyone else. Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people.
